I received this ARC copy of this book from the Author through NetGallery. I give this book 5 stars. This is the 4th book in the Good Hope series by Cindy Kirk. She has done it again and this book is a must read. This book is Delphinium (Fin) Bloom's love story. She is in Good Hope for work with her boyfriend Xander. When Xander's proposal is voted out by the city council board members, he asks Fin to stay behind and try to get the Mayor Jeremy to put the proposal on the agenda next month. He said he doesn't care that Jeremy was her ex-boyfriend. And the story begins but little does everyone know Fin has a secret. I can't wait to see if there is another book in this series maybe about Hadley and Owen or will Eliza find love?

I really enjoyed this book which was the forth instalment about the Bloom sisters. Delphinium 'Fin' Bloom has been away from Good Hope for a number of years and thinks that she has outgrown the town and the people who live there. Her first love, Jeremy, moves very softly and skillfully to show her what is missing from her life.
The characters are all well rounded and I especially liked Jeremy's canny Grandma that helps the romance along. I am really sorry that there are only four sisters and this is the last book in the series and can't wait for the next book form this author.

I started reading this series as it popped up from my Kindle suggestions as similar to Sherryl Woods’ Chesapeake Shores series. And they are, in that the books are interlinked by family, romance and the wider community. Sometimes Kindle suggestions are wildly out (who the heck writes some of those book tags??!) but this one was spot on. While I haven’t written big reviews, I’ve given Christmas in Good Hope 4 Goodreads stars, and the same with Summer in Good Hope (possibly my favourite book of the series, with the presence of two normal & naughty boys) and this is one series I’ll be reading until the end. Go, Eliza!
I have to say, tho, that this is probably the weakest book of the series. Either that, or I really didn’t like Fin or the plot line. It was probably the plot line, but I persevered. I’m not the biggest fan of the fake engagement plotline, which generally has a big enough hole that you could drive a bus thru. I could see some of the ending early on (apart from the obvious real engagement) but there are other areas that out-weighed the fake. About half-way into the book, the secondary characters really started to shine and I enjoyed the second half way more than the first. Fin’s behaviour at the end of their school life was explained, Jeremy’s got a big twist coming (book six, Cindy?) and the family relationships were further fleshed out. As a series, the characters aren’t out-of-place as we move from book to book and it’s progressing nicely.

Ms. Kirk has done it again! What has she done? She has created a romance masterpiece built on kind hearts, a sense of community, and a belief in happy endings. Fin’s story is so poignant and true to society today. I don’t want to give away too much but tears came to my eyes. I also loved how the community came together to make a special little girl’s dream come true. My favorite quote is, “Neighbors helping neighbors is the Good Hope way!” I wish that everyone could read this book and maybe start being neighbors again, and being kind to one another.
