This is an amazing collection of essays that give us a more personal glance into Holley's faith than ever before. I've read all of her other books and they are wonderfully encouraging, like a big sister and best friend. In Fierce hearted, it's like Holley truly and deeply opens up about her own journey and we get to know and love her even more than we already did. This is a girl who loves Jesus and people, you will be blessed by this book.

Very uplifting and encouraging read. This book shared many personal stories from the author's life that beautifully illustrate her points and are woven in with scriptures.

Holley Gerth's books are always encouraging, yet challenging, and this one was no different! I appreciate a book that isn't just a "feel-good" kind of book, but actually helps you apply Truth to your daily life. This book is powerful and definitely Gerth's best book yet!

How I love this book by Holley Gerth. I think we are all searching to be fierce, strong and loving women. What we sometimes forget is how to be real. And being real is fiercehearted. Don’t be like anyone else, we all have a God-given purpose and sometimes it’s just one big mess but God will use it to make something beautiful out of it. I’ve learned from this book that I can be fiercehearted even with anxiety.

Fiercehearted by Holley Gerth is a book where she becomes vulnerable and transparent. She open up about her own personal experience both good and bad. She shares her struggles with depression, anxiety, perfectionism and fear. She wants us to realize we are not the only one feeling these emotions. She shares these in such a friendly personal manner that you feel she is sitting across the table from you.
The chapters are short so you can read one a day or devour the book in a day. The book will encourage women and they will be able to relate to Holley and many of her experiences. I highly recommend the book.

This is such a great book. I really loved the format, how the chapters are very short. It was easy to fit a few chapters into my busy life. Holley speaks with such a heart that is easy to relate to. I loved her advice, the quotes she added and her personal stories.

Fiercehearted was a book of Holley’s personal stories and experiences, shared to help women become those who live life to the fullest and to become brave and strong in whatever circumstances.

I loved the various stories in her book and found that I could relate to them. I really enjoyed the chapters on depression and friendships and the “Dear Younger Me” letter. There were so many valuable lessons packed into this book. I look forward to reading more of Holley’s books.

The book is made up of an introduction, 40 chapters, an epilogue and discussion questions. Forty chapters felt like a lot to me but then I realized they were pretty short. Yet even though they were short they were powerful and packed a punch. The author, Holley Gerth, has a way with words that really draws you in and invites you to listen close, and not just with your ears but with your heart too.
I love that each chapter is introduced with a quote from another female writer. Each chapter is an anecdotal lesson from throughout her life. The writing is open, honest and raw. This book affirms as one of the chapter tells us we are not the only one. This book is not dripping with scripture quoted every other word but it is filled with the heart of a woman who has a heart for God and is inviting us to the same.
