This is the most depressing book, and not because of the Great Fire of Chicago. There are two extremely tall sisters, one is a Sheriff from Omaha, the other one is a secretary for a banker, and whose husband's name is Silence! A more depressing book, I have never read, truly bizarre! Sorry, but it is my honest opinion. Thank you.

The Flame of Eternity starts off with a bang, and it keeps you locked in right to the end. We start off meeting Caitlyn McGregor, a woman trying to solve the murder of her fiance. Her number one suspect? Terrance Fogg, an up and coming banker. Of course as these things go, Terrance claims to have had no part in Caitlyns fiance's murder. She devotes herself to ruining his life by any means, including his loved ones, and it gets even more interesting when we find that the woman who has Terrances heart is none other than Caitlyns sister Sophie. One problem there, Sophie is already married! And we can't forget Terrances old mentor Preston LeClerc, a master manipulator. With so many exciting twists and turns, I had to read this book in one day. It's one of the most well written Western-style novels I've ever read.
