Loved it! Cannot wait to read the whole thing. The Badgers are awesomely fun, sarcastic and sexy. Shelly Laurenston is the BOMB!!!!

What can I say except this is a new shifter book by Shelly Laurenston! That says it all. So good, amazing! DYING TO READ MORE!

Chapter Preview - adorable and intriguing already. I enjoyed the action - and how things were light without being frivolous. Plus i want to see what happens next with the Bear and the chick.

This has always been a favorite series of mine....This book did not disappoint! The characters are quirky and a lot of fun.....I can't wait to read the entire book in one sitting!!!!!

I love Shelly's books and have been reading them for many years. Her characters are well written and the humor that the characters create always makes me literally laugh out loud, Not always a good thing when you are doing your early morning commute on the bus!

This was a really good start of the next book! I can't wait to find out just what happens with this new set of characters, and loved seeing Coop. This kept me on my toes and for just the first chapter sets the pace for what I'm sure will be a really amazing book. So I give this 5 stars for the first chapter.

A great excerpt! I’m really looking forward to reading the complete book - wonderful characters and an intriguing storyline.

This was a really great first look at Hot and Badgered. I love Shelly Laurenston and can't wait for this book to come out. This teaser really got me interested and I want to know so much more about all of the characters in this book.

I didn't realize this was just a sample....But OMG ....the little that Ms> Laurentson gave me did nothing more than whet my appetite for more. I can't wait to read the rest!!

Wasn't enough of a preview to review the book. From the brief chapter except, it seems to be worth reading.

So very excited for this new series! I didn't want to put it down and almost cried when I realized I was at the last page of the sample!

Another outrageously fun read from Shelly Laurenston, with tough guys and equally kick-ass women. The beginning is intriguing - I'm especially wondering about the missing sister, and just what she is up to. Can't wait for the release of the full version - this has gone straight onto my list of books I must buy.

The first chapter was definitely action-packed and it drew me in. I am curious to see how the story develops throughout the entire book as we only got a taste of the characters and not much about the direction of the plot.

I was only given a chapter to read...
What I read seemed good so far, would love to read the rest of it though.
It's very hard to give an opinion on a few pages

Got the first chapter, and that's it, I'm hooked and will be over this book when released! We have a grizzly as our hero, a honey badger is our heroine, and a jackal pianist is the first side character we get to meet
Lots of action and laughs right out of the gate, need more now!

Action, adventure, and romance as stickily addictive as honey!

It was a fast, action packed glimpse where a half blind, wounded and naked women jumped onto an foreign hotel room balcony. The grizzly bodyguard there helped her to escape her attackers, wonderering if he`ll see her again....
... It was a short, but very promissing snippet.

Fast paced with action and intrigue, Shelly Laurenston has created a fantastic opening chapter which has done exactly what the start of a book should—left me craving more. My five stars are clearly based on that, but I can say I’m excited to read the complete story.

I got the opportunity for a sneak preview of the first chapter. This is going to be good. Grizzly bear and honey badger. Great shifter characters.
Starts off with a bang action packed and fun as usual what else to expect from this author.
4 stars based on the chapter. See what the whole books has to say.
2018 can not come quick enough.

I requested this book on Netgalley and expected the full book. I was given a chapter, which is by far not enough for me to judge a book on.
The first chapter loaded a lot into it, but I wasn't hooked. There was a lot of action, but of course no explanation because it was one chapter. The characters were flat, but that again is because it was one chapter. There was an attempt at a few jokes from some of the male characters, but they rubbed me the wrong way. Seemed very quickly like the "no homo" jokes of high school. I don't see myself picking up this book. There is a chance it gets better, but solely based on the first chapter, it is a no for me.
There was a set-up for an action packed story, but if it is worth reading or going to be fun or anything I can't judge. If I get the rest of the book, I will update the review and see if any of my feelings change.
