This book was OK. Not my usual genre and a bit too cheesyoung for me to recommend. However, it is perfectly well written and makes for a nice easy read.

Review:

Seeking Eden is full of interesting, well rounded characters and has a well-written plot with an unforseen ending. There is plenty to hold the reader's interest in this debut novel, which is definitely a page turner. All the different characters really work well together to pack a punch! Being a dog lover/owner, I especially loved the brilliant observations of and interactions between Kate, Lisa, Nellie and Ludo (fabulous name!)



There is certainly more to this tale of life in the suburbs than at first glance. There is lots of drama among the personal relationships and everyone seems to want something they don't have! It's like an infinitely more exciting and far better soap opera.

Sorry. I did not finish this book. It was to soapy for me. Better suited for those who like quick, easy reads.

Kate is fed up of living in London and loves the idea of living in Eden Hill. Once there, an old flame contacts her and she a little more than she bargained for. Lisa was married to a famous footballer but his drinking has driven them apart. Martin owns the local carpet shop but has aspirations of far more. A book that is not quite as light hearted as it first may appear. Some depth to the characters and plot that makes you think about life and the predicament of others. Self made or circumstantial? Lives inter-tangled, this is an enjoyable women’s fiction read with depth.I voluntarily chose to read this ARC and all opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

What a delightful book. It was different from what I usually read and that was what I needed. Highly recommend. Just a lovely book
