This was a fast book to read. I enjoyed the strength of the characters. The easy flowing story line and not over the top romance. There was a few heart clenching moments. Followed by some very predicable follow ups.

This second book in the Wildhorse Ranch Brothers series takes up where the first one ended. Just as in the first book, there is wicked goodness romance, banter that'll bring a smile, and characters who'll steal your heart.
Marianne is a sweet and courageous woman, who is striking out on her own to make a name for herself as a Brewmaster. Ms North has created a vulnerable woman who doesn't back down from adversity. Marianne has many layers she's kept hidden in self preservation...Trent is the perfect man and counterpoint to bring out her true self. This author could not have created a more perfect couple to drive the story smoothly from start to finish.
Seeing the reappearance of Sabrina and Trevor was wonderful, with a cast of quirky towns people added in, this was a delightful and light hearted read.
This ARC book was a complimentary copy provided by the Publisher and Netgally, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and have been a fan of the Wildhouse Ranch Brothers since book one.
Marianne and Trent are very distinctive characters, but compliment each other perfectly; between the smouldering heat that lingers beneath the surface and their very different views on what lies in the future, this determined and passionate couple are sure to set the pages alight.
A wonderful series that never disappoints; I only hope there’s more!

My first encounter with Leslie North was with brother Charlie Wild in Healing the Quarterback. So, when I saw that there was another Wildhorse Range Brothers book available for request on Netgalley, I had to ask for it.
And boy, did I get it! After sporty Charlie, we now meet his hunky sheriff brother Trent. Trent and his twin brother Trevor like to go out in the Honky Tonk of Lockhart Bend. But suddenly, Honky Tonk is being renovated (or: molested in Trent's mind) by sassy Annie (or Marianne Stanton for less intimate persons).
Marianne has lived her early youth in Lockhart Bend, but she moved with her parents to Colorado. Now, a bad marriage and an opportunity from her aunt to buy the Honky Tonk, brought her back to her hometown. She is determined to turn the Honky Tonk into a brewery, where she (as a master brewer) will be able to sell her fine, home brewed beer to the locals.
But the oldfashioned town with their rusty cowboys is not used to change and they are not happy with the idea of a sassy girl turning their favourite spot into some hip and trending brewery. Leslie North does an excellent job in describing the town meeting where all the old folks gather and speak of their 'concerns' regarding the Honky Tonk. You can see the cowboy hats flying around in your mind. Wonderful!
Of course, Marianne is determined to show the town she is not the failure, they all think she is. Especially that hot and bothersome Trent, who turns out to be her neighbour. And Trent is trying his very best to convince Marianne, that the Honky Tonk needs to stay as it is. Can they compromise and create a new favourite spot for the town? There is definitely something brewing...
A wonderful, funny and hilarious book. My only complaint would be that the book was rather short. But never mind: I'll come back for a part four (haven't seen it announced yet, but I'm hopefull...). Otherwise, I'll just have to start on one of her other series. Four out of five stars from me.

Leslie North writes amazing romances. This one keeps you reading till the end. Marianne doesn't like anyone to help her but Trent doesn't take no for an answer.

Marianne sure would like to stir up Trent's way of thinking just a little. He and the town are so stuck in their ways that she's not sure that they will give her Brewpub a chance. However she has a few surprises in store for all of them and ends up winning them over.
One thing that made me laugh was the frequency that Trent and Marianne have sex in public places. With Trent being a sheriff and all, it was almost a screw you to the rules.

Hurray! I read the first book in this series and FINALLY I have the second one. It was so good. The chemistry between the two of them was insanely great. I just adored this book like every other Leslie North book. Five stars.
