This was the first time I've heard of this author and I'm typically not into the alien/human interaction, BUT, I gave it a chance since it was a romance just because it was different. I will gladly give this book a high rating because it deserves it! I enjoyed reading about Bayla and Daneth so much, I had to go all the way to the first book and read from there. I just finished the entire series and will be starting on the Zandian Brides series from this author. Out of all the other books, this one was interesting to see the scientifically correct Zandian doctor fall into human emotions with Bayla. Love it and I recommend to romance addicts, even if you don't think sci-fi romance is your thing. It will be. Great book.

In the continuation of a series I’ve grown to love, an alien doctor buys a slave for breeding purposes, as his race was almost wiped out, but he’s a man—or alien—of science and claims not to want her. She knows better.
Not quite as good as the previous four in the series, but still better than most stuff in this genre. As always I enjoy the human female characters; it was easy to feel for her and her dilemma, even feel sorry for her. Despite him being the supposed authority on human females for his kind, advisor to the ruler and all that, he’s just as clueless, if not more, than the previous guys. Sometimes that was fun, sometimes annoying, but in the end it worked out well that way.

Very good book. Looking forward to reading more books by Renee Rose.

Not crazy about this title. I read the first book in the series, but nothing in between, which I feel made the story seem less as I did not know what was going on with secondary characters.

This is the first book from this series that I have read. I felt this could easily be read as a standalone, I did not find it hard to follow. I do love this genre. It was a good story and I really like the heroine, even though she was a breeder she was not brainless. She was smart and even though she did an unthinkable act it was understandable. But you’ll have to read to know what happens. I do have to disclose that there is D/s in this book. A couple of scenes may be triggers for some out there; such as her punishments. At times they felt a little too much but she did find that she liked it. I did enjoy this book and look forward to more in this series.

***I voluntarily reviewed this ARC for an honest review via NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press, this is my honest opinion and has not been influenced by the author, Publishers or NetGalley in anyway.***

This is the fourth book I've read in Renee Rose's series, and while I liked it, I didn't love it....

There's good erotica, great discipline scenes...but every now and then Ms. Rose gives us a character with too much of a traumatic history....for me, that was the case. It was hard to read about the main characters pain & without giving anything away, what happened to her in the past, and then read about her in a discipline or sex scene.....if you've read the whole series, this is still a good addition to the other books, & some will be more willing to accept traumatic pasts, so keep in mind this is a personal preference & if something like that doesn't bother you, you might rate it much higher.

I won't spoil this but read the previous parts to get the full scope of what's going on.

His Human Vessel is the second book by Renee Rose I've read and by now I'm a fan of her writing.
Her erotic sci fi novels are fun, hot reads, with a storyline that works and strong alien warriors to melt your heart and panties.
I love that her human heroines are feisty and stand their ground.
Despite this being the fourth part in the series, I wish there were more episodes to come.
Recommended to all who are looking for a really enjoyable and sexy alien/human erotic encounter.

Love this series of books. Despite the fact that it is always obvious that the male alien will fall for the human girl, I enjoy reading them. I have read each one in only a night.

This book totally make me want to get taken by an alien. Hot steamy sex and a little sweetness thrown in. This was a quick fun read and if you get turned on by spankings and good sex this is the book for you. Enjoy!...I sure did.

I hadn't read the previous books in this series, but I was able to review this book for free so I thought I'd give it a go.

I am not really a fan of stories where people fall in love seemingly instantly and for no reason. But this book is very hot and the way the power dynamics shift make it interesting. Some plot devices are awfully convenient, but you can overlook it for the fun of the genre.

I found myself kind of disgusted. Main character was someone I could identify with or respect, and he was as bad. Can't recommend.

I always enjoy Renee Rose's books, she is an automatic choice. That said, I did not enjoy this book as much as the first of the series. I believe it had more to do with the doctor's character rather than the story! The concept is very appealing and I wish to read the rest of the series.

Honestly, I found some of the scenes between Bayla and Daneth a little uncomfortable - particularly when she's saying no to Daneth and is being entirely ignored. Perhaps I'm being overly sensitive, as I am aware that the book is advertised as containing BDSM elements. Apart from this, it's a quick and easy erotica story with some hot scenes.

Another intriguing and erotic read from Renee Rose!

I read the first book and was intrigued by the premise and only now realised that it is a series. The characters were better developed in the first book and I was disappointed at how shallow this book is in comparison.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. The story of a human female Bayla who is bought by Master Physician Daneth for implantation of a Zandian embryo. The connection between Bayla and Daneth seems to be almost instant. The sci-fi story is a good read and interesting, even if sci-fi is not my thing. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it. The only thing is it had an amazing cliff hanger which motivates me to search out the next edition.

This book is a spanking aficionado’s paradise.
Kink rating: 4 out of 5
Hawt rating: 3 out of 5
Chemistry rating: 3 out 5
Bayla is a human slave that has been sold as a breeder to an alien race. Daneth is a horned alien doctor and scientist struggling to combat his race’s fertility issues. Could Bayla be the answer to his professional dreams? Could Daneth be the respite from a painful past that Bayla has always craved? His Human Vessel is an erotic, kink filled, interaction with a side of sci-fi - esk themes. If you enjoy a good spanking scene you will not leave disappointed. The writing is well edited and the story is clear and well written.
