This one was just not for me. I have heard about a good Alien series out there and I hoped this one, though it wasn't the one discussed, would be a good one. I just did not care for the story itself. The punishments themselves were crazy as well.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Extremely sexy book. I don't know if I'm really comfortable with the heat level. I think this was my first book by this author and I don't know if I'd like to read another. Definitely a good book for people who like babies!

The Zandians are back! This time Dr. Daneth is back and he's chasing his own HEA. He buys Bayla, a human breeding slave, to help with a breeding project. What he doesn't know is that Bayla doesn't want to go through another pregnancy where her child is taken from her. What she doesn't know is Daneth is trying something specific. He initially doesn't want her physically bred, but he does want her submission.

Ohhhh steamy. I know that many many people will be somewhat repulsed by the whole slave owner/slave dynamics in this book but at the end of the day it is just escape fiction. I like the way the doctor comes to realise that he doesn't actually want a slave, he wants a partner. I didn't know that it is book 5 in a series but it didn't interfere with the reading of this story. I will be looking for the other 4 to read, and any that are released in the future.

I've read the first book, but not the next three. Nothing is lost in not having read them except it makes want to go back to read them.

This one was really quick. Not a lot of story, but a lot of spankings and love.

Book 6 sounds interesting in that it'll be alien and alien love story instead of alien and human.

Finally! Daneth's story. Superbly sexy and a great plot work together in the latest Renee Rose. These little novels are cracktastic!

Yep, I have to admit: those purple guys kind of grow on you... After Lyndric and his human Cambry, I needed a new Zandian adventure. And where I liked the story of His Human Rebel, I really loved His Human Vessel.

Daneth is the ultimate nerdy scientist, obsessed with reproducing his Zandian race after their wipe-out from the planet. Bayla is nothing more than an experiment to save his race from extinction. He really doesn't understand emotions and the feisty Bayla really confuses him. When he spanks her to get her to obey, she gets turned on... And when he hurts her, she finds comfort in his arms afterwards.

Daneth really doesn't get it. And when he wants to rip off the head of his fellow Zandian guards for ogling Bayla, his brains just short circuits. He is just too cute.

Bayla is emotionally drained after having taken multiple children from her after giving birth to them. She is not able to bear another child only to have him taken from her. So, she really doesn't want to get pregnant. She recognizes the attraction Daneth has for her and she tries to use this at her advantage. And when she fails, the spanking for her inappropriate behaviour is just getting her turned on.

So when the opportunity arises for Bayla to stop being a reproductive vessel, she has a dilemma: stay with the dorky cute doctor and risk a pregnancy or leave and maybe find one of her lost children...

What will she chose and how will Daneth react? Find out in this hot and steamy fifth book of the Zandian series. Four out of five stars from me. With a thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Renee Rose is the queen of science fiction erotica with characters that pull at your heart. Zandian is a planet that has been invaded and their females eliminated. In exile the purple horned aliens are searching for a way to re-claim their planet and try to re-populate their species. Earth females are held as slaves in the galaxy but may find salvation in the arms of these giants. The joining of these two beings is the story line of this series. Dr. Daneth who has been an unfeeling clinical alien in the prior Zandian tales stands to the forefront in "His Human Vessel". To achieve his goal of creating a pure bred Zandian; Daneth purchases an Earth sex slave. Bayla who is immediately overwhelmed with her new environment; wants to please the Doctor but has had her babies taken from her before and does not want to hurt like that again. Stand alone story but more enjoyable to have read the series because prior couples reappear. "A copy of this book was provided to me by Burning Desires and author via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read and my comments here are my honest opinion"

I knew what I was getting into when I was accepting this book, so I am not going to complain that it is "dirty". No, I just wish there would have been a little bit better-developed storyline between all of the dirtiness. Still, there was some imagination behind the story, so it was not all bad. Warning for anyone else who is not used to this type of book - it is explicit! Which is fine, just please don't call it a romance novel.

His Human vessel is the story of Bayla a human slave used for breeding by various alien races and Daneth, a scientist Zandian who is doing everything he can to ensure the future of his species. He's found the most perfect vessel in Bayla.

The attraction between the two is off the charts, but he will do anythign to fight it and she is just doing what she can to protect herself. Their journey is going to be intense especially when the alien race who took over their home planet is demanding the prince. Can't wait to read the first ones and more.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I was hoping to. Not enough happened in the story for my liking.

Daneth is a doctor concerned with repopulating his depleted Alien species. Bayla is the human slave he purchases to impregnate. I love that both of the characters are determined to get what they want. The Zandian world is still so intriguing to me. The character tension gives you just enough drama to keep you into the story, but not so much that it puts you off. I'm definitely loving this series.
