This was an adequate read, I got kind of bored in the middle of it but still enjoyed it for what it was. I really like the title, it has a nice ring to it!

A great suspenseful read! The chemistry between Ace and Dakota was evident from the start, and just kept on building. A great add to the series!

Joseph Anderson and Uncle Sherman are back to their meddling ways in this action packed story of estranged Armstrong brother Ace.
CIA operative Ace is injured and on leave has to reacquaint himself with family/civilian life till his next mission. Enter Dakota with her strong personality leading to fun banter and heated sexual exchanges, that is until things start coincidentally happening around the Armstrong family.
Fantastic story of meeting ones match, revenge and the meaning of family

Melody Anne has been on my kindle for years! I finally decided to dive into her Billionaire Aviators series. It is so good!!! It has been a few months since I have read this entire series and I have to tell you that I completely miss this series and these characters. They hold a special place in my heart for sure.

Turbulent Intrigue is the final book in the Billionaire Aviators. We finally get Ace Armstrong’s story! The mysterious Armstrong brother’s story is finally revealed to us. He might be my favorite Armstrong brother. I didn’t have an opinion on him going into Turbulent Intrigue so I got to fall in love with him along with Dakota Forbes.

The missing brother is back…

“When this was over, Ace wanted it to be absolutely over. He wanted to be able to go home without putting his family in danger.”
~ Melody Anne, Turbulent Intrigue (Billionaire Aviators #4)

Ace has done his job and is now ready to go back home. Little did he know that he would fall in love with Dakota Forbes…

If you love romance with a little bit of action in it, the Billionaire Aviators is the series for you. Trust me on this one.

This was the last book in series, and I have not read the others, but I will because I want more background. This book keeps you on your toes, it is full of drama, and tight family. Ace is the brother, that his family is worried is on the wrong side, but the truth does come out. He ends up meeting Dakota at his brothers wedding, and the sparks fly. Then the excitement begins...

I really really loved this book, especially Dakota is a wonderful heroine but I was a bit surprised as the story is very different from the one described in the blurb. Nevertheless, it is fast-paced, full of action and amazing characters and I just couldn't put the book down once I had started reading.

Ace is troubled due to everything he experienced in his time working undercover for the CIA and well, getting blown up wasn't a very good way to reunite with his family. Okay, it might have made things a bit more emotional but, seriously, there are definitely better ways to reconnect.
Dakota is simply wonderful. I fell in love with that girl right away I think. She is funny, sassy, sweet, charming and courageous. You can easily see why Ace falls for her and would do everything to keep her alive no matter what happens. And there is a lot that happens. Sometimes it is not easy to leave the past in the past where it belongs, sometimes it comes back to haunt you...

I loved the chemistry and the interaction of Ace and Dakota and I loved to see how Ace reconnected with his family. Slowly, tentatively but when things get rough, his family is there for him.
I really enjoyed reading this book and can definitely recommend it - and even though this book is a standalone you should be prepared for desperately to read the other books in the "Billionaire Aviators" - series as well when you have finished "Turbulent Intrigue".

Ace and Dakota are an explosive couple.

Dakota is a strong, knows-what-she-wants type of woman and, despite her bravado and spunk, she does have some insecurities that you only catch glimpses of. Her best friend, Chloe, is marrying a hunk of a guy and Dakota is now part of the family. The one brother that she hasn't met yet, Ace, is mysterious and elusive. But, putting him aside, Dakota knows that her days as a cheerleader are numbered and she wants to follow in her brothers' footsteps – she wants to become a pilot. When she signs up for lessons, she gets much more than she bargained for.

Ace has lived the past several years of his life as someone else. In order to protect his family from his career, he pushed them away. Being an operative has its drawbacks, but he loves what he does and he is very good at it. When his case completes, he is injured and reeling. He finds himself once again surrounded by his family, which is both comforting and slightly uncomfortable.

When Ace sees Dakota, he's instantly intrigued. She is confident, doesn't take his lip, and knows what she wants. Dakota is just as taken with Ace's charm and good looks. They follow a bumpy road to romance and there is a lot of action. This was fast paced, fun, and had some great development.

I hope we get to see more of this family.

This is the fourth book in the series and links to a previous series of Ms. Anne's too. So, anyone who has read one of these will know... if Sherman is around, then expect some serious fun as a member of his family is enticed into love! It was an inspired idea, and there are clear hints that more young men are about to benefit from his interference in the future!

There have been hints about Ace and his lifestyle in previous books, so it was fascinating to find out just what he had been doing and why. Inevitably it is a worthy reason, and given the nature of his brothers, his tension is unexpected, but they are supportive. He doesn't get it to start with, but by the end has understood that his family do nothing but support him, and is finally ready to embrace that.

Dakota is a really fun character, and thanks to her close friendship with Nick's Chloe, we know of her calm and optimistic outlook. She is undoubtedly just what Ace needs, but he is rightfully fearful of what he brings with him from his past. Her secret shocks him, but thankfully he forgives her approach and they move forward together, swept along with bigger emotions than they ever expected.

I loved the flying lessons and the sexual tension which affects them both. The drama was well done, giving credence to Ace's fears, and yet proving to him how his brothers still want to be there for him.

This whole series has been both fun and intense. Thank you, Ms. Anne.

This book was great, it's really giving book #3 a run for its money as my favourite in the series. The mystery, the suspense, the heat, the sheer sexiness of the book was amazing. This book had me on the edge of my seat right from the start. I didn't want to put this book down. The chemistry between Dakota & Ace was combustible from the start. I loved how strong of a woman Dakota was & that strength spilled over into her loyalty & love for her friends & family. Ace ever the sexy protector & lover at heart was an aggressive man in everything he did. His loyalty to his family was a wonderful thing to see after being gone for so many yrs on undercover CIA work. Dealing with so many accidents & attempts on their lives was what brought them together but the heat when they were together was what kept them glued to each other. Definitely recommend this book to read.

Turbulent Intrigue by Melody Anne is the fourth and final book of the Armstrong brothers. We finally get to met Ace who has always been in the shadows for Cooper, Maverick and Buck's books, and the strong woman who will have Ace rethinking love and his job.

But when she meets Ace at Nick's wedding, she knows what and who she wants and will stop at nothing to get him. But the Seattle Sea gal is soon caught up in the intrigue of Ace's last case. They both realize they can't live without each other (Even though he keeps getting injured).

Ace Armstrong has grown tired of his current case for the CIA that has kept him away from his family for so long. But in the midst of taking down a drug Lord a bomb explodes injuring him. When he comes too all of his brothers are by his side. At Nick's wedding, he'll rethink his opinion of love and a very certain Dakota Forbes could be his soul mate. There's always something that makes you rethink and question what you're doing and where you're going in life and for Ace Armstrong, the black sheep, wayward brother of the Armstrong men, that thing is Dakota Forbes.
When Ace returns home he has no idea whether he's going to stay or not but then Dakota appears and sparks something within him and when his past comes back to haunt him, he will do anything to keep her safe.
Turbulent Intrigue was my first Melody Anne book and even though it's the fourth book in this series I enjoyed reading it as a standalone. Just between us though, I now have the urge to purchase all of the previous books in the series and read them as well.
I think fans of Maya Banks K.G.I (Kelly Group Investigations) series might enjoy this series as well.

An arc of this book was generously provided to me by Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.

In line with the previous titles in the series, Turbulent intrigue also holds its place. The title captures the strong attraction between Ace and Dakota. Throughout the read one feels the turbulent under current truly justifying the title name. A good read.

Ace is just finishing up a mission with the CIA that has taken him away from his family for the past few years. After getting injured in the field he returns home to his family who welcome him with open arms and Ace is just in time to be best man in his brother's upcoming wedding. At the wedding Ace meets the maid of honor Dakota and the two have an instant chemistry. Unfortunately, Ace's past is coming back with a vengeance and Dakota is getting caught up it. Ace works to protect not only his family, but also Dakota.

This is the last book in this series and it did not disappoint. I loved how each book flowed with one another. Although this book is part of a series, it could be read as a standalone.

I have read most of this author's early work. This one just didn't interest me. I felt like it was the same story I have read many times before. Just OK for me.
