The Accidental Honeymoon was a perfect summer read. It has humor, romance, and a good dose of reality. I would give this title a perfect 5-stars if only the pacing at the beginning was a bit faster than what it was. Felt like it was sluggish. However, skip over that bit and readers like myself are entertained. I couldn't stop reading this...Portia Macintosh cleverly wove a tale that hooked its laws deeply into my soul. I had toknow what the main characters were going to do and where they would be afterwards. I wasn't disappointed. The family of the heroine were interesting. British, funny, and charming characters. The man that gets stuck with the heroine is different. Sure his looks are good to melt any woman near him, but something about him keeps driving Georgie crazy. She keeps him at a distance but she can't deny she's attracted. Jealousy, anger, lust, and love are on the horizon. Bring old boyfriends and a cheating ex to the mix and it's all fun and excitement for readers. I truly enjoyed reading this new novel. Overall, I recommend The Accidental Honeymoon to all.

"The Accidental Honeymoon" had me laughing out loud quite a few times so I'd strongly advise against reading it in public!
Who could resist a story like that? I can't and I really enjoyed the book even though some parts of it were a bit foreseeable. From the first vibrator gone rogue to the final HEA, I was captivated and rarely put the book down.

Watching Georgie transform into Gigi and back and maybe finding Georgina in between, was fun and it was sweet. Of course, Jack was a big part of the whole transformation as he is the one who is there and who makes her spread her wings again and -well, fall for him, fake engagement, real (soon to be annulled) marriage, stuffed animals, skirts, old great aunties and all. Who wouldn't fall for a guy who can dance like that? Okay, we won't talk about his other qualities here but, well, they are convincing, obviously, so...

Well-written with interesting characters and a nice and enjoyable story, I really enjoyed reading this book and I can definitely recommend it. A wonderful, sweet and light summer read about love and friendship and about the things that really count!
