I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan of this novel. The description did entice me enough to download it and read it. The plot was simple enough that I did like to continue to read, but the characters seemed very flat to me.

Thank you Netgalley. Kinda a weird read for me. More like a 2.5 star book.
Plot and pacing moved along well enough that I kept reading to the end....despite some rather improbable coincidences. Characters were mostly cardboard stereotypes with the exception of their "secret" lives (also improbable).
Overall, the melodramatic tone of the book ( Jeff, Gaia and Brandon's internal musings) left me yawning.
I did appreciate the O Henry twist at the end.
