I got lost in this book and didn’t want it to end. I enjoyed the writing style and I could tell this was written by different authors than the first book in the series but I didn’t love it any less. The plot of losing the one you love only to have them come back is one that grips your heart. I felt the characters held great depth and I can see a book in the future for the secondary characters. The chemistry between Price and Kate is off the charts hot and I found it amusing that even when their lives are at risk they couldn’t keep their hands off one another. Even though I loved this book I wish there was a little more action thrown into the mix it could have added more to the overall story. This series is becoming one of my favorites. These ladies have amazing talent and I love that they are working together to make sure this series is well rounded, and filled with everything a reader could want. I look forward to reading more books in this series they are definitely ones you don’t want to miss.

Such a great story and with so many plot twists along the way! It's not the typical romance book by any means. This is the story of a happily forever after married couple until the after comes way too soon.

Kate and Price Lewis seem to have it all. Tragedy strikes and Kate is left alone in tremendous grief. When her sister in law forces her to take a holiday that's when the story take a completely surprising twist.

Alone on an island with her not so dead husband, Kate must come to terms with the why Price left her. It's then that Price reveals some secrets that may be left unknown.

Will Kate return alone to her life or will she give it all up and stay hidden away with Price?

Wow, this book was one of the hottest books I've read in awhile, then add in the suspense and drama and it was a totally addicting read that I could not put down.

Kate and Price were that couple everyone wishes to be, so full of love and passion for each other, which made their reunion that much sweeter.

Another hit in the Misadventures series, I can't wait for more!

Misadventures of a Good Wife (Misadventures, #2) I'm giving this second book 3 3/4 stars...I enjoyed it but not as much as Misadventures of a City Girl.... don't get me wrong I enjoy a good sex scene a will as the next girl...but.. Kate and Price wore me out... the rest of the story as good and I am looking forward to the next book.

Holy nuts! Yes, it was that kind of a book. What else would you get when you put Meredith and Helen on the same story.... good Lord the steam and the twisted story was most wicked. I have to keep the review brief because there is too much to give away here.

Kate lost in her grief gets roped into going on a vacation by her late husbands sister. They arrive on a secluded tropical island and Kate is really not into it, she's miserable; still stuck in her grief, she's just doing it in a different setting. That is until her dead husband appears. And this is where the story twists and turns and holy nuts your head will spin. You'll need ice and a fan too to cool off from the steam factor here. Good grief this book even smelled like sex. Helen and Meredith are a wicked naughty combination. They'll lead you through this tale as you discover Price's story and the danger they now face. Jump right into this one and enjoy the ride, and hold on tight it's a wild one!

I loved this book. Price and Kate are hot and need to be together. They are the epitome of forever love. But sometimes a whole lot of bad comes your way. Without giving too much away, Price and Kate go on the run; together. They have answers to find that will lead to their hopeful freedom. Their love though shines through every sentence in this book. A must have in everyone's library.

FINAL DECISION: This story had promise, but I got tired of the secrecy of this story and just when things seemed to be moving story wise, the characters would engage in sex and stall the story. Not as exciting as I would have liked.

THE STORY: A year ago, Kate was devastated when the love of her life died in a plane crash. On a beach, a man approaches her and Kate is shocked to see her dead husband Price. Price tells Kate that he has been in hiding for a year and she has a choice, come with him without questions or they will part forever.

OPINION:  I thought this book was uneven. Parts of it I really enjoyed, but parts were difficult for me to get through because I got bored and distracted. I thought the book had a good premise and I was intrigued by how these two married people would find one another again.

My first problem with the story was that there was too much sex that interrupted the story. I don't have a problem with an erotica story where the characters develop their relationship through their sexual encounters, but I kept thinking as the story went on that just when the story seemed to be moving, there was a sex scene.

The other problem was that there was never really any issue with Kate and Price being together emotionally. That made the relationship part flat for me. As a result, the first problem was even more glaring.

Despite that, I enjoyed parts of this book. I wanted to know what would happen and I like the characters as people and I wanted to see them have a happy ending. That was satisfied.

WORTH MENTIONING: This story is an attempt at an erotic romantic suspense, but isn't entirely successful.

CONNECTED BOOKS:  This book is the second in the Misadventures series. This series, however, is a series of standalone books where there is no crossover or connections other than the hot and spicy nature of the stories.

This "Misadventures of" book was not as cohesive as others in the series. The summary and small bit from the first chapter intrigued me but the book was so disjointed and confusing as the story bounced around so much and a lot of it made no sense. He was a day trader that earned in the 7 figure range but they lived in a dumpy 500 square foot apartment? She was a successful reporter as well so their lifestyle made no sense to me. Also, he had secrets and had hidden money and also "spoiler alert" faked his own death! and she forgot all that and hopped into bed with him again within 5 minutes of seeing him again!! It was an interesting premise but the book did not deliver in my opinion.

Hmmm....I really wanted to love this story. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, and was so excited to dive into this one, but sadly it fell short for me. There was a mystery component to the story that showed up relatively early, and it could have made for an awesome story line, but I am not sure what happened after that. There was a TON of sex throughout the book, too much actually. It really detracted from the story because for two people whose lives were on the line, all they did was have sex, therefore making the plot unrealistic.

A lot of this book is sad. I mean, Kate's husband, Price, dies. Or so she thinks, and doesn't find out differently for a year? That was a very rough year for both of them. It tugged on my heart strings.

Oh and at first you're like ok so he has some sort of secret. But that takes a backseat to them reconnecting. Until all Hell breaks loose- from then on, it's crazy suspense, adventure, and action! What a wild ride! Kate and Price have a deep, real love for each other. I enjoyed watching them work through things and their sexual chemistry at least as much as all the intrigue and mystery. If not more. It was told in dual pov with a hea.

Another good title from the Misadventures books although this was not my favorite. I had a hard time liking the main character, Price. The storyline seemed a bit far fetched, but if you can ignore that it's a fun read!

I've found my new obsession with this series of stories, this being the second released in the Misadventures series. Great stories to immerse yourself in.

Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt have created a wonderfully passionate, sexy and thrilling story of intrigue and pure unadulterated love.

Kate and Price are a madly in love young couple. Kate being a journalist and Price, a day trader on the stock market.

When Price discovers a massive insider trading scam in a company called Cybermark, his investigations lead him into life threatening trouble. What he does in order to protect his wife and family and his amazing double life makes for fabulous reading.

Intrigue and thrills abound and a well developed cast of characters make this another great read in this series.

I didn't really love this one, mostly because I didn't like the "hero". I found him to be self-centered and condescending, which isn't what I'm really looking for in romance. He was also not the brightest. Like, his wife is an investigative journalist, and instead of telling her, hey this company seems SUPER shady. He just goes and investigates on his own. She could have been helpful. So... not the best.

Absolutely loved this book and couldn't read it fast enough! This series has been amazing and left me wanting to read the other stories to find out what will happen in those as well! Well written and excellent overall!

This romance is about losing the love of your life and a recovering and rebuilding that love. I personally don't read many mystery romance novels but Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt did an excellent job of bringing this story to life for the readers. Price and Kate's romance was filled with heartbreak, suspense, steamy sex and an exciting ending where all the pieces come together.

I have enjoyed all the novels I have read in the "Misadventures" series.

Misadventures of a Good Wife was a great read written by two of my favorite authors and I was hooked from page one! Kate is fiery, witty and funny and Price was intelligent and just plain sexy. They had a love that transcended even death and their reunion heartwarming and hot. The story was fast paced with lots of twists and suspense. Oh and did I forget to mention that the sex was HOT. This is a definite must read.
