Solid debut. I'll preface this with saying I didn't love it, but I really enjoyed bits and pieces of it. The writing wasn't anything amazing and I think I had a hard time relating to main character of Lynn, but something about this book had me. I think the pacing was spot on! I'd definetly read something by this author again.

There is a lot of like here - quite a spin on the traditional apocalyptic story with world-changing events coming from all directions. The writing is solid if not stellar but the characterizations are a little weak and parts of the story we have seen before - particularly a bow-wielding heroine. Still, the pacing is quick and keeps the reader engaged. Not my favorite but far above the worst.
