Underwhelming. I wanted to enjoy it but it was very cliche and felt like the stories had already been done and ultimately there wasn’t anything unique bringing all of the moments together outside of the friendship.

There's nothing wrong with this book, but there are plenty of books with similar premises that are much more interesting.

I enjoyed this book. It's different from the style I normally read and I enjoyed falling into their world for awhile.

Living the Dream was cute. I’ll admit that it didn’t fully engage me, but it was worth sticking out.

This was not the book for me. I decided not to review it on my blog or on social sites.

Emma and Clem are both young women trying to find their dreams in London. Emma works at a soul crushing advertising firm while she tries to get her writing career going. Now she writes her blog and sends articles off on Spec. Clem has just returned from New York City and is hoping to sell her screenplay that everyone loves. For both of these women the career is the dream. There is not a lot of romance. There is drinking, random hookups and friendship. I liked the characters and the book was a quick read. Enjoy this quick fun read

I want to thank the publisher for granting me a copy of the book in exchange an honest review. Please note I was unable to open the file on any of the devices I own therefore I am unable to post a review.

I requested the book as soon as I read the premise, it sounds like the books I love reading about. I love contemporary fiction and reading about the challenges women face on today's workplace.

Thank you.

Living the Dream is a charming debut novel and a must read for those who prefer books about friendship rather than love. Humor is abound in this novel as well, making it a must read for all women this year.
