Hilarious "meet cute". One of the best I've read so far, and the humor goes on throughout the story. It's fun, sexy, and completely entertaining.

Single mom Ellie Sanders doesn't need or want a man in her life. She's perfectly fine without one. Really! Then why can't she get the super sexy marketing guy Tyler Hendrix out of her head. Sure their first meeting was definitely memorable but really she should be able to think of something else. Ty is just as certain that relationships aren't for him. Now a few nights of fun - yes please. The more time they spend together makes it hard to deny how well they fit.

I highly recommend this one.

Ellie and Ty were a great pairing in this story and their playful demeanour's were entertaining to read. The heartfelt moments too, were a draw card in what was another good read in the First Impressions series from author Tawna Fenske.

I could not put this book down!! From their first hilarious meeting, I was hooked. I loved these characters so much. Ty was awesome, trying so hard to protect Ellie and Henry. Ellie is a great heroine, strong and sassy yet vulnerable too. And Henry is adorable. The story deals with some serious subjects but there are plenty of laugh out loud moments too. Loved it!!

"Maybe something about whether you're a squeezer or a stroker and how that might impact your overall ball handling." Part of the miscommunication when one person is talking about bowling balls and one person is talking about sexual aids. Oops! I do love the way Tawna Fenske tells a tale! I love the humor in this book as much as I love the romance. Ellie & Ty are really a great couple to get to know. The story is fun, with moments of seriousness and a bit of hotness. Overall fun -a great summer read!!

This book falls into two separate parts. We have the beginning in which videographer Ty Hendrix meets sexy Ellie Sanders. She sells sex aids and has come to visit Ty for marketing tips. However, he thinks she is his appointment to talk about making videos for a bowling ball firm. After a series of sexy innuendos as they misunderstand the other, they become friends. There are some more silly mishaps until they finally get the benefits part of their friendship going.

The book then becomes the story of how Ty deals with dating a single mom. He has had all sorts of problems with commitment because he had such a crummy father who is now in jail. Ty thinks he’s fated to repeat his father’s mistakes and has to decide if he can overcome those problems for the sake of Ellie and her adorable six-year old son, Henry..

I thought that once the book got past the overly done meet cute, the book became much better. These are both likable characters and it was lovely to see how Ty’s natural goodness comes out as he relates to Henry. The sweetness of their growing relationship is what makes the book.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Loved this book! It started as a fairly predictable romance between two characters that had no interest in a relationship, but ended up hooking up. Then the author added such depth to them with the back story and their current struggles that I just couldn't put the book down.

This novel has it all - lovable, relatable characters, and a great story. It had moments that made me smile and moments that brought a tear to my eye. If you enjoy the genre, snag this book and put it at the top of your TBR list. The author is on my must read authors' list.

Boy oh boy did I love this book. I have not read a book by this author for a while and I forgot how much I adore her writing. She has a sense of humor that is so wickedly funny that it literally leaves you gasping for breath and you laugh your butt off.

I have not (ashamedly) read the previous 2 books in this series (a fact I will rectify soon) but it was easy to follow along, since they are all stand alone reads.

This book is about Ty and Ellie and of course Ellie's delightful little boy Henry. Ty and Ellie's first meeting is one of the funniest scenes I have ever read. Ty is part owner in First Impressions and he is a videographer. He is sitting at his studio waiting to chat to someone who wants advice on how to "promote" their line of bowling balls. Ellie sells sex toys for a living. Her sister in law has leased her space to run her parties in the studio where Ty is waiting. Ty thinks Ellie is there to talk about bowling balls. Ellie talks to Ty about some of the sex toys she sells. None of them have any idea what the other is on about. As I said hands down funniest thing I have ever read!!!!

Anyway there is immediate attraction between the two, but due to Ty's childhood where he had a dead beat dad, he is only interested in a hook up and not a long term relationship. Ellie deals with enough being a single mom, so a quick no strings hook up sounds just fine to her......until of course things get more complicated....

A quick, light and hilarious read that I HIGHLY recommend.....

The fact that Ty puts Ellie and her son Henry first is the best part of the book for me. It tears him up just thinking about disappointing them. Signs of an awesome man. And some of the creative swearing that he says is pretty funny too.

Ty is one smart cookie, “but I just used my only condom to fix your pipe,” he said. “So, unless you have a stash, we might need to call a halt to things for now.” Ty likes to make sure he has Ellie's thoughts made out, “but you think it’s rude to shove me out of the house before I have my pants on, and you’re also not sure about the etiquette involved in hookups.” I really liked this book, I loved Ty.
