I really enjoyed this! Loved the characters and the setting, it fit very well with the time period and I liked that it wasn't too over the top - no melodramatic conflict or anything, just regular family troubles. Well, a bit more than just "regular" but it was all done very well.

A very easy light read. No real depth but nonetheless enjoyable. Read in less than a day.
