Loved! There are so many things I loved about this book that I really don't know where to start. Well, let's see, let's start with the Cross family- I first fell in love with them in Crossing Hearts. I love these guys and Tobias, the patriarch, is a mild mannered man who comes off quiet and reserved but when he speaks you listen. He raised 3 sons after the death of his wife and done an amazing job as these guys are strong, dependable, trustworthy, oh and sexy!

Eli is the youngest and misunderstood. While coming off as a slacker Eli is hiding a secret that proves he is so much more- such that he is afraid to reveal his heart to anyone. Well, that is until the super sexy photographer named Scarlett shows up to run a journalism piece on the Cross family and farm.

I loved the sense of community in this book even when it came as a stupid bet. Eli realizes he must buckle down and work his hardest to accomplish a goal in order to win. Little does he realize is he is looking at winning a whole lot more than a silly bet with a rival farm. Love, self-respect and honor are on the horizon and Scarlett captures a beautiful picture of that with Eli.

Scarlett loves the feeling she gets with the Crosses- the love, closeness, purpose that brings them together- it gives a sense of home she had never felt and didn't realize she was missing.

Kimberly Kincaid done an awesome job writing this book with breathtaking descriptions and evoking such strong feelings for her characters. I felt a part of the family, as well as the family drama, and couldn't wait until things in the dark came to light to see the family rally together. Although- the bombshell ending did catch me off guard while creating anticipation for the next Cross Creek book.

Once again, this talented author, gives us a story that is not only entertaining but also filled with a multitude of layers.
We return to Cross Creek and the Cross family. A family made up of 3 brothers and a Dad, all who work the family owned farm. Last time it was Hunter’s story, and this time , it’s Eli’s, the youngest of the brothers . Though the world sees him as a happy go lucky, unfazed person, in reality he feels deeply and is keeping many secrets from his family.
In comes Scarlett, a well known photographer that to help her dearest friend with her failing website, takes it upon herself, to photograph the farm and all it’s complexities. hoping this move will create enough traffic for the site. Little does she know, that she is also not only helping the farm, but she is helping Eli and herself.
This is a story that will make you laugh and cry. It’s a story about family loyalty and love for that family. It’s a story about being true to oneself. It’s a story about rediscovery, hope and love. And a reminder that life might be messy, but it is so worthwhile.
Thanks once again, Ms Kincaid, for a wonderful story and one that I will remember for a long time.
I was gifted this copy by Netgalley and the publisher. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I think Eli and Scarlett have become my new favorite couple! Eli is sexy and sweet with a serious lack of confidence. Scarlett is a fun loving free spirit with a big heart! When these two got together it was pure magic! This story made me laugh and it also tugged on my hearstrings! I also LOVED the surprise toward the end!! A Great Romance!!

This book was so well written that I could picture and feel every place and emotion in every word. The way the characters spoke and thought had me living in the small farming community in Virginia. It sounds idyllic but very hard work, on a farm, those early mornings-bordering late nights!? Not for me!

The story keeps you interested in the Cross family and makes you feel for Eli. He really does feel like the black sheep of the family. He doesn't have the love of the farm life that his Dad and brothers, Owen and Hunter, have. Sassy Scarlet comes to the farm and it falls to Eli to show her around and help to promote their business via her top-notch photographic skills. She seems to breathe life into Eli. It's a slow burn into their relationship but it burns strong. There are some twists and turns that are adorable and keep you reading.

This is my first book from Kimberly Kincaid and it was very easy to like. I really feel like I know these people very well. I will be looking into her other books.

This is the second book in Ms. Kincaid's series about family farmers in a town in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Tobias Cross the owner and his three sons, Owen, Hunter and Eli all work the farm trying make a name for themselves in the farm to table and eco gardening system. After some terrible weather and an accident that kept Hunter from working, they're trying to recover and get back on track.

Eli is the "screw-up" in the family per his brothers. He never wanted to spend his life working the farm, but somehow was never able to say no. It's not his dream. He loves Shakespeare and writing, but keeps it a well kept secret. A very bad bet with a local former classmate in high school, who is a loser by the way, puts more pressure and stress on the family.

Scarlett Edwards-Stewart is a very talented photographer from New York City recently returned from some difficult assignments. She gets a call from her best friend Mallory, who is the editor and owner of an online magazine called FoodE.
Her business is in trouble and she needs Scarlett's help. Scarlett is happy to pitch in and it turns out Cross Creek Farm was looking for some positive publicity. Scarlett is on the way. After a very rocky start, a lot of negativity from Eli, and not a lot of cooperation she is about to call it quits. They both realize this would be letting down Eli's family and Mallory, and once Tobias and Owen see some results they are thrilled. She even softened up Eli to do a few videos. As she softens Eli up, Scarlett realizes there's a lot more too him, and his writing is excellent. There are definite sparks between them, and they turn into a full blown fire.

But there are some bumps in their road. Can Eli tell his family about his dreams? Can he give Scarlett his heart? So many sides to this story, and your captivated to the end. A contemporary romance with a lot of heart that was a joy to read. Looking forward to the third book in the series.

If you are looking for a book that is about family, friendships and acceptance than this is your book. The Cross family has that and more. Three sexy brothers are about to take you for a spin on their tractor and readers, it's super sexy!

Life on the farm is anything but boring when it comes to produce, animals and maintenance. I found myself immersed in a world that Kimberly created that was vibrant and refreshing.

A man who is afraid to share with his family his one true desire and the woman who will show him that life's short and there is nothing to be afraid of!

I can't wait for the third installment!

I LOVED Crossing The Line by Kimberly Kincaid, the second book in her new series Cross Creek and struggled to put it down. This is Eli and Scarlet’s story as they try to help turn earnings around on Cross Farm. Scarlett is a world renown photographer, doing a favor for a friend who needs help saving her emagazine. She agrees to photograph and create videos of everyday life on the Cross Farm. Her friend will create recipes to accompany the photos as part of the month long coverage. Eli is assigned the task of show the farm to Scarlett and what starts as anger turns into friendship and appreciation of each other.

What or who exactly were crossing the line. Is it crossing the line to go from guide to friend to lover? Maybe it’s between family expectations and dreams? Or could it be between work and dreams? No, it might be between self-expectations and wants.

I really enjoyed reading this book as had Ms. Kincaid drew me in and did not let me go until I read the last page. Ms. Kincaid kept this reader mesmerized with wanting to see how things would work out between Eli and Scarlett. I highly recommend this book to other readers and I for one look forward to the next book in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Are you ready for another trip to the Cross Creek Farm? Of course you are and boy are you in for a treat with youngest Cross brother Eli’s book.

Kimberly Kincaid has delivered a story with heart, feeling, passion, heat and soul in Crossing the Line.

I loved this story so damn much. I think it’s going to be my favourite of the series, big call yes but when a book is this good and pulls so emotionally at your heart strings you know it’s going to be hard to beat.

I may have fallen a tiny bit in love with Eli in the first book Crossing Hearts and now…..wow, who knew there was so many layers to Eli and that every single one I would fall for.

The tough country boy is a complicated man underneath and it takes a special woman to unearth the truth and peel back the layers to get to the REAL Eli and Scarlett is the woman to undo him once and for all.

I adored Scarlett. With her go, go, go attitude to her real passion for her career, there was something special about her that I loved seeing Eli notice, fight and give in to.

Watching these two circle each other while fighting the bone deep attraction was so much fun it should be illegal. Then seeing Scarlett bring out the other side of Eli, priceless.

Add in the other Cross brothers Owen and Hunter who take great joy in riding Eli’s ass over Scarlett, Emerson, Tobias (man I love the old guy) and one hell of a surprise that left me gasping in shock (hey it’s better than the tears that kept leaking because of all the feels) and you have a wonderfully fantastic addition to not only my Cross Creek library but my keeper/re-read shelf.

I can hear the farm calling and I think I need to do a re-read of both Cross Creek books ASAP. Just to keep myself entertained till we get Owen’s book which I need yesterday. I can’t wait to see how the threads started in this book play out.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley for review.
