A psychological suspense originally released in 1980 when technology didn't exist as it does today. Not updated, it is still a very intriguing plot that pulls you into the terror Kathi Ellison is experiencing.

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. I must admit this was not quite what I was expecting with this book. The idea that it was going to be just a regular book however it was not. The "ghost " part of the story was not the usual kind of ghost.. Katie had such turmoil and conflict and the ending left me wondering how else could it have ended. There were some parts I was able to figure out relatively early and I wish the ending could have been a little less abrupt. But if you are looking for a story that makes you want to invest in the character, this is one for you.

I was thinking that this book was on the line of the Hannah Swenson character but I was wrong. The book kept me interested but left me with an empty feeling.

A story with a twist ending that keeps you glued to the book definetly a page turner, the ending gives room for a second book to follow as it leaves a lot of unanswered questions definately a sequence to follow.

When she was just four years old, Kathi Ellison was in a car wreck that killed her mother and left her in a coma. All her life she has had terrible headaches and strange nightmares about a little girl named Sheri, and during all that time, her stepmother told her she was just imagining things. Now a student at Berkley, she has a boyfriend and a father running for the U.S. Senate. Life should be good, bu she can’t get past those nightmares that seem more and more real to her, even as her stepmother readies herself for a new role among Washington’s elite power brokers
