Nessa and Bear's story. Was eager to read this one as I enjoyed both characters in other books. Also nice to see an end to the poison dart story. Would highly recommend this book and author, although best to read the series in order.

This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Nessa and Bear. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

Wicked Bite by Rebecca Zanetti is a wickedly sensual! I enjoyed this book from start to finish and ended up loving the characters, enough to not want this book to end. I highly recommend this book.

Being the leader of a motorcycle club means you have to be tough. But when Bear meets Nessa all he can do is melt. I loved watching this shape shifter and witch fall in love.

Rebecca Zanetti's books just keep getting better.
In this book, we focus on Bear, who had me worried since we learned he wasn't supposed to be able to turn into his dragon.
R. Zanetti gives it all to us, Witches, Demons, Vampires, Enforcers, Shifters AND an MC!!
Clear some time when you go to read this book, you will not want to put it down!

SWOON! Bear and Nessa's story was hotter than hot, and so freaking sexy! Wicked Bite is one of those books I could get lost in for hours. It was terrific!

I enjoyed this book from the get go. A strong heroine who is more than what she seems and a reluctant hero who has a few accidental secrets of his own. Also there were plenty of appearances by beloved characters. Two things I love about Rebecca Zanetti is that she is not afraid to have time pass and age characters. Which doesn’t effect the immortals, but allows the children to grow up. And she has no problem wrapping up conflict. A major crisis is brought to conclusion, and the culprit is revealed. I can’t wait to find out what the immortal world is up against next.

This series has taken us through some interesting political intrigues, battles and family squabbles, but I am sad to say I think it might be coming to a conclusion. That being said Wicked Bite is one of my favorite stories for sure, with a sassy and deadly witch finding her mate with a sexy and strong bear -(plus more) shifter. The story begins with an offer that Bear is willing to refuse for a few reasons, mainly that the offer comes from a sneaky and too-sexy-for-his-own-good witch that he knows has some ulterior motives for her offer. But once they are thrown into a battle for their lives and the future of their world Bear and Nessa begin to understand that all of their knowledge of one another has been stretched from the beginning. Bear has been a favorite of mine for a couple books now, I mean who can beat a sexy-as-hell biker, who also happens to be able to shift into a bear—and a little something else that I won’t mention for spoiler purposes—that also happens to love his half-sister enough to risk his life in order to keep her safe and happy? Certainly not this Romance Witch. That being said getting to know him on a deeper level made me love him even more as a hero, especially when someone threatens the woman he has come to love. Nessa however is keeping a LOT of secrets. She has determined that only she can crack the case of the assholes that are threatening the lives of all witches with their dangerous drug and she just knows that Bear’s biker gang is behind it all. Willing to sacrifice anything for her people, Nessa determines that the only way to get to the truth is to investigate Bear herself, but soon her plan backfires and she finds herself falling in love with the beast. Nessa was a conundrum to me until the full story of her past and position in the witch government comes to light, but then we could understand all the little things that made her not so lovable through the story. Together they have to find a way to stop a war, save a race, and prevent their world from being exposed to the mortals, all while falling in love and finding a path to the future they both now desperately want together. The heat between these two is off the charts, even for a Zanetti novel, but that made it an even more believable passion in my mind. I will be sad to see this series end, but hope that if this is the final book, we will be getting something new in this world of crazy witches, deadly demons, sexy shifters, and fascinating vampires. Zanetti once again shows why she is one of the Queens of Romance and will forever leave her footprint on the world with her amazing work. Thanks for the adventure Rebecca!

Wicked Bite is the 5th deliciously hot book in the Realm Enforcers series by Rebecca Zanetti. Each book has its own story but each book is interconnected so I highly recommend reading them in order to prevent spoilers and to get all the details each book will be referring to.

If you had read the previous books you know Bear is one bad-A ursine. He is the prez of the Grizzlies MC and a total Alpha. Nessa is so opposite of him it is hard to see how these two could even be in the same air together. She is a Healer, snobbish, and in this book has so many secrets and tell so many lies she would give Pinocchio a run for his money. She is hunting for witch killers and her fingers are pointing at the totally delicious Bear.

The chemistry these two create is more combustible than hydrogen. The suspense is of course nicely leveled out with the humor of the characters. I just can't get enough of all of these characters. They are so likable and enjoyable. They are well rounded and complex I continue to want more story. The only problem I found with this book was it was over too fast. I wanted more!. I highly recommend it.

I love Rebecca Zanetti books. Sin Brother, Scorpious Syndrome, Blood Brothers, etc. She truly knows how to write some of the sexiest and edgy heroes ever. So of course, I didn't discover the Wicked series until book five. So many books, so little time. Yeah, the cover and description caught me. And how can you not fall in love with the grumpy yet sexy bear shifter named Bear? I breezed through the story, it was fun, sexy, edgy, and the chemistry was electric between Bear and Nessa. Of course now I have to go back and buy the first stories in the series. Not a hardship when you have an outstanding author like ms Zanetti!

I received a reader copy thru NetGalley for my honest opinion

Book Review- Wicked Bite by Rebecca Zanetti

Bear is dying. He is damaged on the molecular level. He can only turn into one animal. When he turned into a dragon on several occasions to save his sister, he damaged his body.
Nessa appears to make a proposition to Bear. She wants his fire ability to make her stronger. She will heal him and become his mate in return. However, he learns that there are bounty hunters after her and someone else has hired a kill squad. He refuses to let anything happen to her on his watch.
Nessa has her own secrets, one being she is investigating Bear and the Club. She is serious about the mating idea and she needs to get a hold of Bear’s records. Unfortunately, someone wants her dead and Bear has to work hard to keep her safe. Neither has any idea who is behind the attacks. Nessa keeps her secrets close but everything comes out when Bear makes a declaration in order to keep her safe. Then when they learn who is really behind the death squads and the Apollo attacks, Bear is shocked. He never saw it coming.
I love this series. The characters are great. The men are intense and the women are strong and sassy. Both Bear and Nessa fit the description. Bear has his own thoughts and feelings about his life. He doesn’t like strange people or a lot of people in his space. It makes him cranky. I loved his character and how he handled things. He was also very bossy especially to Nessa. She, on the other hand, refused to be bossed around. It made for lots of sports and humorous situations. The author made a great pairing in this story and gave them an exciting adventure as they both tried to figure out what was going on. I hope to see more of them both. I give this book a 4 out of 5.

It pains me to say this, it really does, because I’ve enjoyed every other book in this series and was all kinds of excited to get my hands on more of Bear, but this one just didn’t do it for me. I wanted it to, badly, and there were a few bright spots throughout which stopped me from DNF’ing the book outright, but when you start skimming (skipping) pages then you know it’s not a good sign.

While I didn’t fall in love with either Bear or Nessa, I did like them separately, but together they just didn’t really do it for me. The chemistry wasn’t there for me. Yes, the smexy was smexy but the constant head butting and need to physically prove dominance got old especially when both are supposed to be quite intelligent and could have found another way to prove a point. But, it is what it is.

As for the Apollo storyline. The whole Bear distributing Apollo storyline was dragged out too long for me and then resolved too quickly. I know I sound like that person who finally gets what they wanted but it isn’t enough, but I just couldn’t get why they thought Bear was the ring leader after all he did for Simone. As for who was behind it all, I didn’t pick up on it right away, but I did figure it out before it was revealed, so yay me!

I know I’ve been nitpicking, so here is what worked for me: the “interference” of demon, vampire and witch nations. Dage, Simone, Nick, Logan, Garrett and even Boondock made this read fun for me. Especially Logan and Garrett who I am crossing my toes will get their own spinoff because they absolutely deserve one. If it weren’t for these secondary characters I’d have probably stopped reading the book entirely.

I wanted to love this book. I really, really did because it was the last of the series, but it didn’t work out that way. I still enjoyed the series and am crossing my toes that there will be more to come from this world sooner rather than later.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I think I need to collect this series when I can!!

The cover is very nice, but it would be even better with a grizzly on the cover!

This is the 5th book in the series, but it is my first book to read in this series and by this author. This is definitely for adults only due to the steamy content. It can also be read in any order, but my suspicions are that it would be even better reading them all in order.

I loved this book because it had all my favorite things: shifters, action, magic, treachery, mixed paranormal world, and so much more! I love action packed books like this one, and I had a hard time putting it down. Bear and Nessa are both stubborn and awesome and reading their story was awesome. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say that you should read it!

I highly recommend to any paranormal fans because they book has everyone in it (shifters, witches, demons, vampires, and more)! I can’t wait to read more of this world and check out more of Rebecca’s work!

Oh my! Awesome beyond words. Love the action and kick butt hero and heroine. Bear and Tessa's story is just so darn good. The heat they bring to the pages is something else. This is one of those paranormal romances by which all others will be judged. Can a shifter and a witch have a relationship? I don't want to give anything away except to say, if you love paranormal books and haven't read Rebecca Zanetti yet - what are you waiting for? You don't need to read these in order, but make sure you have a comfy chair.

Wicked Bite packed an even bigger punch than the four prior books in the Realm Enforcers series! Action, fights and betrayal that made my head spin.

Story:
I was happy to get a book where Nessa and Bear were the main characters, but I hadn’t really counted on Nessa actually going undercover. She seemed young and a bit inexperienced in the prior book, but she was very far from it. Bear was still suffering from changing too many times in the prior story, and it appeared as if his life might be in danger.

There chemistry between Nessa and Bear was very strong. But neither of them really trusted the other. Wicked Bite involved a lot of the plot that has been the red thread throughout the series, and so, Bear’s reluctance to trust was easy to understand.

Wicked Bite is packed with action, fights, intrigue and betrayal. And for once, I did not see anything coming! I was blown away completely. There was so much danger everywhere, and if this was a movie, I think I’d have gotten a whiplash from watching the action unfold.

Characters:
Nessa seemed like a neat, put-together woman. And she appeared a bit out of place in the woods. There was so much more to her than what met the eye at first sight, though.
Bear was no less grumpy in Wicked Bite than he was before, but I got to understand more about where that grumpiness came from.
Both the demon horde and some vampires were present, as well as the bear pack Bear cared for.

Writing style :
Wicked Bite is written in third person, past tense, with an external narrator. Nessa and Bear are the characters we follow the most closely, which makes some reveals real surprises.

Feels :
So many feels! Happiness, love, hope, despair, fright, anger – can you think of any more? I’m pretty sure those feels were included as well.

I voluntarily read an advanced reviewers copy of this book

Tessa and Bear are a hot and sexy couple with a lot of secrets and tons of appeal. Both come from different worlds but have a lot in common...they both want to stop the horrible drugs from circulating their world and the world of the humans killing everyone who dares to sample it.

Can Tessa and Bear save the world and keep their hearts intact? Read and find out!

Overall this book was really good but slightly predictable. Even with its predictability I have to be honest and say that it was still very good. I have not read any Rebecca Zanetti book in the past but I will definitely look out for her books in the future.

I was such a huge fan of Rebecca Zanetti’s Dark Protectors series! These Realm Enforcer books haven’t enraptured me quite as much, largely because the series arc surrounding the Apollo drug didn’t have the same oomph as the possibility of a war among supernatural factions. That being said, this installment is easily my favorite in this spin-off series.

The reason: a cranky introverted Alpha Grizzly named Bear.

We met Bear in the earlier books. He was (and still is) this deliciously grumpy dude who doesn’t care about anyone or anything beyond his fellow shifters and his sister, Simone. He likes things simple and honest. There was nothing I didn’t like about him.

Nessa is neither simple nor honest. She’s a powerful healing witch with an agenda. She wants to mate with Bear in a mutually beneficial arrangement. She hopes to gain the power to make fire from him, and in exchange, she’ll use her healing gift to help him recover from the damage he did to his soul when he shifted into a dragon in the last book. Of course, there’s more to it, but peeling the layers of her onion is part of the adventure!

Anyway, Bear is reluctant to consort with the witch, but they are drawn to each other and the attraction is hard for either of them to resist. There’s such a sexy vibe between them. And their love scenes are on fire!

In some of Zanetti’s books, the over-alpha thing has frustrated me, and while Bear is, indeed, super-alpha, I loved that Nessa is really strong and powerful in her own right. I loved that his strength didn’t detract from hers. She was never afraid to challenge him; she even reveled in it. And in the times she went toe to toe with him in tests of wills and strength, she never faltered.

When Bear falls, he falls hard, and it was so great to watch. There’s also fabulous action and pacing and plotting. Plus great cameos from the original series; I especially loved the running joke about everyone underestimating Dage and his status as the king. But it was also fun to see Logan and Garrett.

This was a fun book with an awesome hero and a satisfying ending. I suspected the villain, but it wasn’t obvious, and when it was all revealed, I was on the edge of my seat.

I hope this is not the last we see of this world.

This book was hot an exciting!. I loved how she was so feisty and strong and so was he. I liked how they gave each other what they needed and meshed so well. I enjoyed every moment of this read.

I love anything by Ms. Zanetti. She writes awesome MCs that you really want to be friends with. Each of her books just keeps getting better and better, if that's even possible.

I am so excited that Bear has his own book!!! He is an awesome character, big and growly and loves his sister the witch and his brother the dragon. Bear finds himself in a situation where he cannot heal. He is wasting away losing his humanity and health all because he protected the people who mean the most to him. Tessa believes that Bear can help her with her little problem of someone trying to kill her. Together they have to figure out away for both of them to stay alive and, stop the drug dealers who are killing humans with a very addictive drug to shifters while Bear rebuilds his bond with his bicycle club. Just another day. But a funny, busy exciting day. This is can be read as a standalone but as part of a series it is truly satisfying.
