it was amazing
I received this ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I just love Rebecca Zanetti's books.
Nessa and Bear were exceptional characters. I was so curious to discover all of Nessa secrets. I also liked how down to earth she is:
"The mating mark. It was said fate decreed it would only appear when a mate was near, but biology and science probably had more to do with it. She’d decided to mate. There it was."
A must read.
4.5 stars

Rebecca Zanetti is once again enthralling readers with a grumpy, over protective bear shifter and a caring Witch healer, who is so much more than she seems.
A gripping storyline, with charismatic and compelling characters, ensure that this is yet another superb novel by this exceptionally talented author; the Realm Enforcers just keep getting better with every book!
As an avid fan of Ms Zanetti, I can honestly say, put Wicked Bite on your MUST read list.

4.5*
I was surprised to discover this is the first book I've read from this author. The Dark Protectors series has been on my to-read list for years and I will get there one day soon hopefully.
This is a fabulous book I loved Bear, the grumpy yet loveable bear shifter.
Bear is in a bad way, he's a shadow of his former self having previously shifted into dragon form (shifters can only take one form) and the damage is killing him.
Nessa (or Tessa according to the blurb) turns up with an offer for him, she'll heal him if he'll mate with her.
Nessa is Coven Nine witch so why on earth would she want to Mate a grumpy antisocial bear?
Unlike most witches Nessa can't create fire and she hopes that mating with Bear will give her that ability after all Bear's father had been a dragon shifter.
The problem is witches can't be trusted and that was my initial problem with Nessa. It's impossible not to fall in love with Bear and knowing that she was holding out on him annoyed me but ultimately she won me over.
This book has so much going on and I'm sure it's even better if you've read the previous ones (which I definitely will now) there's tons of interesting and quirky characters (my absolute favourites are Garrett and Logan, I loved these guys) trying to discover who's responsible for the flood of deadly Apollo that's hitting the streets.
I'm annoyed with myself for not reading this series and the Dark Protectors sooner but better late than never. This came very close to 5* which is rare for me.
This line sums Bear up perfectly
Demons and vampires. Bear couldn’t breathe. “There are witches on my perimeter. Now demons and vampires close in. Oh God. It’s purgatory. I’m in fucking purgatory. I have to move. There must be property in Antarctica you haven’t found.” His head spun.
I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by NetGalley and Kensington Books

Wicked Bite (Realm Enforcers #5) by Rebecca Zanetti published by Kensington Books Lyrical Press. If you have read my reviews for this series then you know I LOVE them. I was lucky when I got an advanced copy of the fourth book through Netgalley and when I finished that I went and read the first three books like they were a piece of pie that I could not get enough of and book 5 is just as amazing as the rest of the series all I can do is HOPE for more. This book exceeded all my expectations and then some. Bear is all Alpha and perfect. He’s rough gruff and kicking a** and taking names and a sweet teddy bear all in one pure perfection. The anti-social leader who wants to save the world and find a woman who isn’t a witch… but lucky for Bear OPPOSITES attract.
Nessa a kick ass witch who you cannot help to relate to and love. She is all layers and soft curves. I love that she is a smart ass and gives Bear a run for his money. The roller coaster ride that is each book is amazing I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but I will say that Nessa is a strong beautiful woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. I love the push and pull that is them and the way that each book is somehow connected and yet stands on its own! 5 stars all the way amazing. Thank you Netgalley this was awesome to read. There is a contemporary series coming from this author that I can't wait to see what it's all about.

The witch and the bear what a team! Bear is attempting to come back from a bad shifting experience where he hasn't been around his motorcycle gang for a good amount of time. He returns to face Tessa looking for the distributor of Apollo the drug that hurts her kind and with it her suspicion of his gang as the ones to take down.. Will they mate? Will there strong personalities clash? Can Tessa heal Bear, in more ways that one? And if your looking for all your favorite shifters, witches, demons, and vamps, Zanetti as always satisfies the need to meet up with old friends. Non-stop excitement and battle of wills not to be missed.

After the awesomeness that was Wicked Kiss, Wicked Bite fell flat on its face. From the obvious bad guy to Tessa and Bear having no clue how to deal with each other, plus an overdose of crazysauce, Wicked Bite was just wicked bad.
Bear was an idiot. Please tell me how this guy is actually the head of a seriously powerful shifter clan. Tessa has more secrets than an old priest who has listened to confession all his life, and the Dunnes and their extremely extended family just had to make appearances.
Absolutely nothing is as it seems, except, of course, the bad guy who screamed bad guy the whole freaking time. Newsflash: there are few things more annoying than a not so secret secret bad guy. Seriously, it was so obvious I thought Bear would get it right away, but of course he didn't.
And Tessa, Tessa sweetie, how the hell did you get to your current position and still be as absolutely clueless as you are? I mean, really honey, you are an idiot.
So I guess with two idiots running the show, it was, of course, a shit show. Nothing goes to plan, the King has to step in multiple times, oh, and a Bear and Tessa fall in love. I got nothing for this book. It was a trainwreck but a trainwreck I couldn't stop reading.
That's ok, I still love Zanetti and her books.

Ms. Zanetti does it again! I jumped into this series feet first with this book and I cant wait to read more. I didn't feel as if I was left out by not reading in order and so that is a huge plus in my book. This story itself had solid meat to it with romance suspense and witty characters. A strong H and a equally strong h were well matched and made for each other.
Well apparently I have some latent hostility toward relationships that start in lies...and I almost did not go through with this book...I didn't like Nessa. I was almost angry with her in the beginning of this book. She seemed so cold and calculating...and then MS Zanetti revealed her to Bear and to the reader. I was able to connect with her and I loved watching her open up for Bear and show him she was willing to change. I love it when an author can change my mind about a character.
Bear was great, I love the hard exterior Alpha who is such a marshmallow for the ladies in his life. I cant wait to see more of him dealing with his extended family and the characters yet to be introduced.

We’ve got BEAR here! Finally, the grumpy, lovable, motor cycle riding shifter BEAR is getting his turn to find love…
Tessa Lansa is on a mission. She needs to find out who is still distributing the drub that is killing off her kind, the witches. But she’s made her own plans and it includes a mating with the rough around the edges Bear, Shifter alpha and motor cycle club leader.
Bear wouldn’t mind Tessa in his bed but he doesn’t trust witches and their machinations. And he really shouldn’t because they always have something up their sleeves; Tessa is no exception.
Fun, fast paced and full of shifter hotness, Wicked Bite is my kind of read.
This amazing cast might just make Wicked Bite my all-time favorite read in this series, even with all my love for the previous books!
I received this ARC copy of Wicked Bite from Kensington Books - Lyrical Press. This is my honest and voluntary review. Wicked Bite is set for publication August 1, 2017.

From the overprotective Bear to the blue-eyed Witch, Wicked Bite has it all. This story is superb the well written storyline is compelling, I loved the character interaction and the multitude of layers. Ms Zanetti has penned a remarkable addition to the Realm Enforcers. I will be recommending this book and series for sure.

For someone who loves books written by Zanetti, never a disappointing read!! I absolutely love this book and so sad to see the end of the series. Tessa and Bear made a combination. Tessa being snarky & hilarious and Bear being even more snarky. Rough sex and humor made the book enjoyable! Can't wait to see what happens next! Book purchased!

I’m all in with Rebecca Zanetti

Rebecca Zanetti is turning into my favorite “go-to” author. I want to read anything and everything she writes because I know I’ll get rich, fully fleshed out (yes, kind of a pun) characters, great world-building and nicely plotted action. Sure, the hot sex and demon/vampire/witches/werebears are nice elements but what really counts is that Rebecca can write.
So every chance I get, every Wicked Kiss or Wicked Bite or more, I’m in. You will be too.
This is an honest review provided in exchange for an Advanced Reader’s Copy of the two books mentioned above. Go get ’em.

With Wicked Bite we get a shifter who is highly potent, perfectly alpha, 100% dominant male, and a surprisingly strong witch who can't throw fire, but is one of the toughest females I have EVER read with this series so far. My god, Wicked Bite is HOT, demanded my FULL attention and had me edgy, squirming, had deliciously wicked heat with action so heart-pounding good, I didn't realize how on edge I was of my seat, until I almost fell off! This book is So. Freaking. Amazing.
Rebecca Zanetti is a MUST follow author! Her books are dark, sexy, sizzling HOT, with alpha males you will fall in love with and kick-butt heroines. Wicked Bite is a story you can easily and happily sink your teeth into. I know I did and I LOVED every second, every moment, every turn of the page. These books get hotter, darker, edgier, more delicious with every new release. God, how I adore THESE books! Bear and Tessa are my ULTIMATE favorite couple. These two fit...like perfect puzzle pieces. I can't wait to see whats next!
Wicked Bite gets a WICKEDLY AMAZING FIVE SHOOTING STARS! If you have been waiting for Bear's book, you will NOT be disappointed!

Paranormal Series brought to life by Rebecca Zanetti.
Bear is a cross between Teddy and Smokey. He is easy to love and quick to protect. Nessa is a witch with a secret and a goal that only Bear can help her achieve.
Bear is the leader of the Grizzly Motorcycle Club, but he's been out of commission for a few months. He's half dragon, and had shifted into his dragon form to save his sister. Now he is injured from that shift and not healing.
Nessa Lansa, a witch and former Coven Nine council member, is a healer who can't make fireballs like other witches. She makes a deal with Bear--she'll heal him if he'll mate her. She expects to gain fire from the mating.
But Nessa has secrets and ulterior motives. The witch-killing drug Apollo is back on the streets.
This book was good.....

What a way to end a series. I loved these Wicked books. Every single one of them. Though each hero is alphalisious, there is a difference in all of them. Bear was no exception. Strong yet lovable. And he wasn't immune to the charms of Tessa. Tessa was a big surprise for me. From her style of clothing to her well kept secrets.
Though I am sad that this particular series has ended, I will always have them forever in my kindle and book shelf.

Another great book in the series, full of emotion and adventure. I hope there'll be more! I posted a review on Goodreads.

Dark thoughts, double crosses, and family secrets are the focus of Wicked Bite; the sexy times are a bone-us. Shame, because when all is revealed, it was the perfect vehicle for betrayal analysis, instead of the bland relationship woes.
Bear’s final investigation goes horribly wrong because he didn’t have his eye on the ball and didn’t use all the tools available. Why he doesn't use his demon brother’s powers in his interrogation is beyond me or that he doesn’t take his own advice. Ultimately, Nessa’s hunches bear fruit, but that doesn’t get much attention. Instead, the story plays out with the damsel needing rescuing. A bit ordinary, but it is so action packed that this can be easily overlooked. Wicked Bites' meet-cute/mating premise had no power behind it as nothing came of it plot-wise, bedroom action wise, it was plenty steamy. As covert operatives, Bear and Nessa need some work and using coitus as problem-solving is generic. Still, the storytelling is strong, and I’d watch the movie, but barring that stock up on some more Rebecca Zanetti in the mean time.

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life
This is Bear's life. He wants to be left alone. He is a bear shifter for godsakes. Unfortunately for him, his father was a jerk and just about the only good thing his father did was father a half sister - Simone. Bear wants to have nothing to do with witches because they are only trouble for him. There is only one exception, his sister, Simone. When he's been pulled into the political intrigue of witches, he ends up sacrificing his life to save his sister. His body is slowly shutting down on him and he just wants to spend time in his woods as a bear and be away from the world. This is not to be because Simone doesn't want him to die and sends her friend, Nessa to find and heal him.
Nessa is a special kind of witch. She doesn't manipulate physics to throw fire. Instead, she works on a level which heals bodies. She thinks she can heal Bear but will do so only if he promises to mate her. Wait, hold up, what? Yes, Nessa who is barely mentioned in the previous books in this series suddenly takes front and center. Who is this mysterious woman and what does she really want? I adore Bear and find a business mating to be horrifying. Bear is a guy who needs a woman that can support and understand him. Is Nessa who is a number crunching accountant the right woman?
This is where Ms. Zanetti wows us with her complex characters and subplots. Nessa as a character caught me off guard. Not sure if her entire background is that believable and some of the events that take place make me scratch my head. Regardless, I love her and what she is to Bear. Bear is a simple guy with simple pleasures. He may have loads of money, but he focuses it where it should be focused. I like this kind of guy.
This story finishes off the arc of where the poison PK is coming from and how Simone was brought down from the coven through a conspiracy. I have to admit, the reveal was rather fast and felt a bit jarring. It wasn't as smooth as some of Ms. Zanetti's other books. It was a rush to wrap that I'm not sure completely satisfies me because the answer seems too pat. The conclusion came quickly and leaves a reader looking forward to perhaps a little novella with all the nations together for a little BBQ.
From a sex perspective, wow. Ms. Zanetti kicks it up a notch with a bit of rough sex in the rain no less. Bondage and primal angry sex can be powerful and explosive. I like it! The chemistry between Nessa and Bear is animalistic at times and humourous. Nessa does not need a man to take care of her which is something Bear doesn't quite understand. Their constant denial of wanting each other for more than a tumble is obvious to everyone around them. They are perfect for each other. This paranormal romance is recommended to readers who adore the grumpily antisocial guy who hides a soft teddy bear heart.

Ahhh....I can't believe this is the end! I have so enjoyed this spin off from the original Realm series. This being the last book, all the story lines are wrapped up. Hidden in between all of that is a smart aleck, very proper Witch named Tessa and a growly bear shifter who runs an MC named, of course, Bear.
I can't really give much more away on this one since many of you have been reading from the start. I will say this, human feelings and attraction seem to always get in the way of these paranormal folks good intentions. Tessa starts out with the plan--one that Bear wants no part of--and ends up falling hard for that s3xy beast.
As the story goes, there are lots of twists and turns. Good guys and bad guys and secrets to unfold. We see the King, of course. And his nephews step up to help the shifters out. Explosions and battles and gadgets. All hallmarks of Ms. Zanetti's style. We also get the struggle between Tessa and Bear. Both very strong willed and determined. In the end...love wins.
Fantastic series all around. I wish there was more. Some hints about more spin offs though so that will make me happy! Maybe we will run into the Witches again!

This book was amazing!!! I loved every page, the sexy cranky bear, the intrigue and as always "THE KING", cracks me up with his one liners.

ear! I feel like I have been waiting for Bear's book forever.
Ever since Bear, the alpha of the Grizzly MC club (nothing like hiding bear shifters in plain sight) embraced his half-dragon heritage and shifted into a dragon he hasn't been able to heal properly. Even spending weeks on end in bear form hasn't helped. Then Tessa Lansa, former member of the Coven Nine, appears on his doorstep with an offer: mate with her and she will use her healing powers to fix him. However, once mated Tessa promises to have nothing more to do with Bear, her desire to mate is twofold (i) to get rid of a fellow witch who won't take no for an answer, and (ii) to increase her chance of getting the power of fire.
Tessa is one of the few witches that doesn't have the power of fire, instead she can heal. But her motives are not quite as straightforward as she tells Bear, she is also trying to track down the source of the drug Apollo which is killing witches and humans. After the events of the last book sources dried up but over the past month supplies have increased exponentially. Tessa suspects the Grizzlies are involved and she wants to use her skills as a forensic accountant to track down the supplier.
I love grumpy Bear, he's strong and loyal and cares for his people. Okay, he hates witches, vampires and demons, yeah and humans too, but he loves the bears. Oh, and he's not too keen on the wolves either!
Before Tessa and Bear have even finished negotiating about a potential mating they are attacked, and that pretty much sums up the book. Every time they get a chance to sit down, god forbid sleep, they get attacked by a whole slew of groups. Witches with Apollo darts, shifters, bounty hunters. The question is, who are they attacking? Why? And do they want them alive or dead?
We know that Tessa has a secret that she isn't telling Bear but we (by which I mean, I) never guessed how big that secret is. For a shifter who prizes honesty above all else, finding out that the witch he is starting to have feelings for is keeping secrets from him will be devastating!
All our old favourite characters make appearances in this book, just love the King, although I haven't yet read his book - must try harder!
This is the fifth book in a series so it can be quite difficult to understand who is who if you haven't read the others, but I still think this could be read as a stand-alone.
This series is like catnip, I just can't resist the fast-paced, action-packed drama. Bring on the next one!
