Dark thoughts, double crosses, and family secrets are the focus of Wicked Bite; the sexy times are a bone-us. Shame, because when all is revealed, it was the perfect vehicle for betrayal analysis, instead of the bland relationship woes.
Bear’s final investigation goes horribly wrong because he didn’t have his eye on the ball and didn’t use all the tools available. Why he doesn't use his demon brother’s powers in his interrogation is beyond me or that he doesn’t take his own advice. Ultimately, Nessa’s hunches bear fruit, but that doesn’t get much attention. Instead, the story plays out with the damsel needing rescuing. A bit ordinary, but it is so action packed that this can be easily overlooked. Wicked Bites' meet-cute/mating premise had no power behind it as nothing came of it plot-wise, bedroom action wise, it was plenty steamy. As covert operatives, Bear and Nessa need some work and using coitus as problem-solving is generic. Still, the storytelling is strong, and I’d watch the movie, but barring that stock up on some more Rebecca Zanetti in the mean time.

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

This is Bear's life. He wants to be left alone. He is a bear shifter for godsakes. Unfortunately for him, his father was a jerk and just about the only good thing his father did was father a half sister - Simone. Bear wants to have nothing to do with witches because they are only trouble for him. There is only one exception, his sister, Simone. When he's been pulled into the political intrigue of witches, he ends up sacrificing his life to save his sister. His body is slowly shutting down on him and he just wants to spend time in his woods as a bear and be away from the world. This is not to be because Simone doesn't want him to die and sends her friend, Nessa to find and heal him.

Nessa is a special kind of witch. She doesn't manipulate physics to throw fire. Instead, she works on a level which heals bodies. She thinks she can heal Bear but will do so only if he promises to mate her. Wait, hold up, what? Yes, Nessa who is barely mentioned in the previous books in this series suddenly takes front and center. Who is this mysterious woman and what does she really want? I adore Bear and find a business mating to be horrifying. Bear is a guy who needs a woman that can support and understand him. Is Nessa who is a number crunching accountant the right woman?

This is where Ms. Zanetti wows us with her complex characters and subplots. Nessa as a character caught me off guard. Not sure if her entire background is that believable and some of the events that take place make me scratch my head. Regardless, I love her and what she is to Bear. Bear is a simple guy with simple pleasures. He may have loads of money, but he focuses it where it should be focused. I like this kind of guy.

This story finishes off the arc of where the poison PK is coming from and how Simone was brought down from the coven through a conspiracy. I have to admit, the reveal was rather fast and felt a bit jarring. It wasn't as smooth as some of Ms. Zanetti's other books. It was a rush to wrap that I'm not sure completely satisfies me because the answer seems too pat. The conclusion came quickly and leaves a reader looking forward to perhaps a little novella with all the nations together for a little BBQ.

From a sex perspective, wow. Ms. Zanetti kicks it up a notch with a bit of rough sex in the rain no less. Bondage and primal angry sex can be powerful and explosive. I like it! The chemistry between Nessa and Bear is animalistic at times and humourous. Nessa does not need a man to take care of her which is something Bear doesn't quite understand. Their constant denial of wanting each other for more than a tumble is obvious to everyone around them. They are perfect for each other. This paranormal romance is recommended to readers who adore the grumpily antisocial guy who hides a soft teddy bear heart.

Ahhh....I can't believe this is the end! I have so enjoyed this spin off from the original Realm series. This being the last book, all the story lines are wrapped up. Hidden in between all of that is a smart aleck, very proper Witch named Tessa and a growly bear shifter who runs an MC named, of course, Bear.

I can't really give much more away on this one since many of you have been reading from the start. I will say this, human feelings and attraction seem to always get in the way of these paranormal folks good intentions. Tessa starts out with the plan--one that Bear wants no part of--and ends up falling hard for that s3xy beast.

As the story goes, there are lots of twists and turns. Good guys and bad guys and secrets to unfold. We see the King, of course. And his nephews step up to help the shifters out. Explosions and battles and gadgets. All hallmarks of Ms. Zanetti's style. We also get the struggle between Tessa and Bear. Both very strong willed and determined. In the end...love wins.

Fantastic series all around. I wish there was more. Some hints about more spin offs though so that will make me happy! Maybe we will run into the Witches again!

This book was amazing!!! I loved every page, the sexy cranky bear, the intrigue and as always "THE KING", cracks me up with his one liners.

ear! I feel like I have been waiting for Bear's book forever.

Ever since Bear, the alpha of the Grizzly MC club (nothing like hiding bear shifters in plain sight) embraced his half-dragon heritage and shifted into a dragon he hasn't been able to heal properly. Even spending weeks on end in bear form hasn't helped. Then Tessa Lansa, former member of the Coven Nine, appears on his doorstep with an offer: mate with her and she will use her healing powers to fix him. However, once mated Tessa promises to have nothing more to do with Bear, her desire to mate is twofold (i) to get rid of a fellow witch who won't take no for an answer, and (ii) to increase her chance of getting the power of fire.

Tessa is one of the few witches that doesn't have the power of fire, instead she can heal. But her motives are not quite as straightforward as she tells Bear, she is also trying to track down the source of the drug Apollo which is killing witches and humans. After the events of the last book sources dried up but over the past month supplies have increased exponentially. Tessa suspects the Grizzlies are involved and she wants to use her skills as a forensic accountant to track down the supplier.

I love grumpy Bear, he's strong and loyal and cares for his people. Okay, he hates witches, vampires and demons, yeah and humans too, but he loves the bears. Oh, and he's not too keen on the wolves either!

Before Tessa and Bear have even finished negotiating about a potential mating they are attacked, and that pretty much sums up the book. Every time they get a chance to sit down, god forbid sleep, they get attacked by a whole slew of groups. Witches with Apollo darts, shifters, bounty hunters. The question is, who are they attacking? Why? And do they want them alive or dead?

We know that Tessa has a secret that she isn't telling Bear but we (by which I mean, I) never guessed how big that secret is. For a shifter who prizes honesty above all else, finding out that the witch he is starting to have feelings for is keeping secrets from him will be devastating!

All our old favourite characters make appearances in this book, just love the King, although I haven't yet read his book - must try harder!

This is the fifth book in a series so it can be quite difficult to understand who is who if you haven't read the others, but I still think this could be read as a stand-alone.

This series is like catnip, I just can't resist the fast-paced, action-packed drama. Bring on the next one!

Bear just wants to be left alone but Nessa has a proposition for him that changes his life. An alpha bear shifter, Bear, is wary of witches like Nessa, but her fiery spirit and beauty attracts him. Nessa has a hidden agenda, of course, but her relationship with Bear makes it hard to remember her plan. Great addition to the Realm Enforcers series and perfect blend of science fiction, fantasy, and romance!

I shouldn't have requested this as I had not read the first books in the series. This was a did not even start as I did not finish the previous book #4.

Bear is the leader of the Grizzly Motorcycle Club, but he's been out of commission for a few months. He's half dragon, and had shifted into his dragon form to save his sister. Now he is injured from that shift and not healing.

Nessa Lansa, a witch and former Coven Nine council member, is a healer who can't make fireballs like other witches. She makes a deal with Bear--she'll heal him if he'll mate her. She expects to gain fire from the mating.

But Nessa has secrets and ulterior motives. The witch-killing drug Apollo is back on the streets. Who is the new manufacturer and distributor? Is it the Grizzly Motorcycle Club?

Reasons I liked WICKED BITE:
+We see a different, surprising side of Bear than we've ever seen before. It's a big change and revelation.
+There's lots of suspense
+There's humor sprinkled throughout
+Nessa has a HUGE secret she's hiding--I dare you to guess it.
+Garrett and Logan
+The King
+Nick Veis

Reasons I didn't like WICKED BITE:
-Nessa kicked and punched Bear a LOT
-Rough, angry or violent foreplay and/or sex
-The mastermind behind Apollo wasn't foreshadowed enough in previous books

Dislikes aside, I'm very sorry to see this series end. If you liked the Dark Protectors series, then I highly recommend Realm Enforcers.

Bear holds nothing back, “you wanna eff?” Bear liked catching the classy witch off balance. Her face flared a bright pink, and she actually took a step back. “Too direct for you?” he asked quietly..." Bear gives some good answers to some of the questions Nessa asks, “I was tired, and you were snuggly.” His heated breath brushed her ear." I loved this book, I fell in love with Bear in the previous books in this series and had been eager for his book, the man did not disappoint me.

This is my first read in this series, and now I need all the other books. This book had one of my perfect book balances alpha male, shifter, violence, sex, and characters I want to know more about.

I was given an ARC for my honest review.

As someone who loves books written by Rebecca Zanetti, this one does NOT disappoint in the least! I would recommend that you read the previous books in this series so you understand exactly what happened to the main character in this book. This installment covers Bear (who we met in the previous books and who is Simone's brother) and Tessa (who we also saw in previous books). Tessa is in town to try to figure out where the drug that is killing her fellow witches is truly coming from. Everything seems to point to it coming from the Grizzlies club, which seems absurd since Bear is in charge of the club and his sister is a witch. Bear is extremely sick after shifting to a dragon to help Simone. His body just can't seem to heal. Simone has asked Tessa to try to heal him, so she figures it works to her advantage since she wants to investigate anyway. She is looking for someone to mate to keep another witch away from her and she thinks that may be the only way to fully heal Bear so offers to mate him. Bear has always said he will never mate a witch as they hold too many secrets from everyone else. He doesn't like lies and secrets. Little does he know just how much Tessa is truly holding back from him. Or how much the people he holds close to him are holding back from him.
I absolutely loved this book!! Bear has been a character that I loved just because of how snarky he is. You could always tell there was more to him than anyone really thought. I was always a little iffy on where Tessa stood with everything and can I just say I adored her! Put them together and they are perfectly matched!! Tessa can be just as snarky as Bear, but she also kicks some serious butt! The way they truly come to love each other and not just have a relationship of convenience was beautiful! And just wait until you find out exactly how big of a secret she holds from him! I never saw that coming!! I loved every minute of this book! Another great book in this series!!

received a copy of this book from NetGalley in return for an honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed Nessa and Bear's story. Nessa is not your typical witch, she heals people instead of throwing fire. Bear is the alpha of the Grizzlies, and also half dragon. Nessa was asked by Bear's sister to heal Bear, but she also wants to see if she can mate with him to gain the ability to throw fire.

Nessa is keeping secrets from Bear, and as each of these is revealed you wonder if that will be the one that is too much for him. Also, there is a new supplier of Apollo, which can be fatal to witches and humans, which Nessa and Bear are both looking in to.

If you are a Rebecca Zanetti fan, this is a wonderful read, you catch up with many old favorites. You don't have to have read all of the books in the series for it to make sense.

Oh my god how much I enjoyed reading this new book by Rebecca Zanetti. I simply adored Bear, he was such a cutie. I know it's ridiculous to call him that, because he's bear, but I loved his character. His confusing and contradicting thoughts made me laugh so much a few times. Bear and Nessa were made for each other and their chemistry and hot encounters proved it. Thank you Rebecca for giving us such a great story with all the elements that I like: mystery, action, hot chemistry, love, devotion and so on!

"There ain't nothing convenient about a mating." "Possession is too tame of a word to describe what mating with me would carry with it."

"Her limbs tinged with life--with energy. Every mating was primal, but mating with an alpha, an alpha shifter, took it to another level. She wanted this. For now, for today, she became lost in it."

As a fan of the Dark Protectors Series, I have been dying and I mean dying to get my hands on the Realm Enforcers Series. Now, I should tell you that I have not read any of the previous books in the Realm Enforcers Series, but when I read the synopsis for Wicked Kiss, I just knew I had to dive in and read this book!!

One of the things that I really loved about this book was that despite the fact that I haven't read any of the previous books in the Realm Enforcers Series, was that I could jump right in and read this book as though it was a stand-alone. Wicked Bite was very easy for me to read and I couldn't help but devoured every single word. The world that this author has created is not only captivating, but is utterly consuming. The characters grab you from the very first page and will have you begging and pleading for more. I just loved it!

Wicked Bite has it all. From a fascinating and entertaining story-line, to strong and determined characters. To sexier than hell chemistry and exciting twists. To action and danger that only Rebecca Zanetti can deliver. This book does not disappoint and will have you blowing through the pages to see how the story will play out. I loved every second of this story and can not wait to dive into not only the previous books in this series, but I am also super excited to see where this series will go from here!

Advanced Readers Copy Courtesy of Netgalley....:)

I honestly dont know what more I can say about this author. Every book I read and review of hers ends up being a five star read......she is hands down one of the most talented authors in this genre and I love her books to death.

This is the 5th and final book of the Realm Enforcers series and I am soooo sad to see it end. But I have a feeling there will be more in stall for us because seriously Logan and Garrett still need books!!! Anyway.....

This is Bears story and I have wanted his book for a long time now. He has made cameo's in all the other books, and I love the idea of a alpha grizzy bear...... I mean hello that sounds sexy all on its own right there.

We met Nessa in the previous book when she sat on the Coven of Nine board and in this book she comes to Bear with a request to help him heal (as his body has not recovered from when he shifted into a dragon(he has 2 shifter beasts inside him...Bear and Dragon) to save his sister) as she is a healer witch. The only catch is he needs to mate her so that she can gain his gift and make fire, as with her particular gift of healing she cannot create fire. Of course this is all a ruse as she needs to much more from him!!!!

Honesty one cant go into the plot too much as these books really should not be read alone as they carry on from each other. I will just say that this last book really was phenomenal, as all the other books have been and I absolutely loved Bear and Nessa. She ended up being such a kick ass heroine, that I adored her from start to finish.

If you have not been properly introduced to this series, I cannot recommend it enough!!1

I look forward to seeing what comes next from Ms Zanetti as I am in no way ready to leave this paranormal world that she has created....I want to live in it forever!!!!

What an end to the series. I loved this story from start to the end. It had it all, romance, action and a fabulous conclusion to the overall story arc. Who wouldn't love a grumpy bear shifter and a confident witch, I thoroughly enjoyed watching these two come together through spirited conversations and hot chemistry. I loved how they worked together, the interactions with the other characters we have come to love and some fabulous twists in the story that you just didn't see coming. Another winner. Rebecca Zanetti just keeps delivering imaginative stories that I just want to read again and again.
