I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.
A quick and breezy read. Perfect for the poolside or the beach. Asim and Elena were both very likable characters, as were the side characters - Elena's best friend Aubrey, Asim's brother Nasir, and even Asim's mother Safiya. I really appreciated the way that Elena and Asim's relationship played out. It would've been very easy for them to fall in insta-love and quickly find their HEA, so it was a refreshing to see that their journey had some bumps along the way. There was also a perfect set up for Asim's brothers in upcoming books and I look forward to reading those as well. I give The Sheikh's Fake Fiancee 3 out of 5 wine glasses and look forward to continuing with the series.

I just love the author her books are so interesting and this one is now exception. I could recommend this book to anyone who love sheiks books you would not be disappointed I am looking out for her next book and are sure that it would be as good as all her books

I love a sheikh book and I love Leslie North, the two combined are nothing short of fabulous! Another great addition to the bookshelf.

Really loved this book and author. The author gives you the reader a wonderful and fantastic story which just hooks you from the start. And what a great start to a new series by this amazing author. Just love her books. Would totally recommend this to everyone.

'The Sheikh's Fake Fiancée' by Leslie North is Book One in the New Series "Azhar Sheikhs" series. This is the story of Elena and Sheikh Asim and is about 122 pages long.
Elena and her friend Aubrey are touring Europe together and on their last day in Beirut Lebanon they stop at a Cafe where they meet Asim. Asim and Elena exchanges a few looks and words when Asim mother calls to say she is stopping to meet him. Asim has told his mother that he is engaged and that she can stop her marriage minded match making. So he quickly asked Elena to pretend to be his fake future wife..but his mother surprises him into saying she will be cutting her trip short to get to know ELena. So they have to go further into this fake engagement...which buys them time to get to know one another and think fake isn't what they want.
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

I expected a bit more romance, maybe I should have read the description better. The writing is ok.

I love a good Sheikh romance and Leslie North's writing had me swooning from the first chapter to the last one.
You've got Elena, who runs into Asim while traveling and plays the role of a fake fiancee to get Asim's mother off his back. It started out like a simple plan, until Asim's mother decides that her trip will only take two days so she can return to spend time with them.
I got this book from Netgalley and I'm glad they approved my request because this just spiced up my Friday!

Good overall writing. Enjoyed. I liked how the story was wrapped up in the end.

Highly entertaining, emotionally gripping and fascinating journey filled with interesting people and locations that transport you to another place. Looking forward to more from this set of charters in this promising beginning to this series.
Elena is a woman who has a true artist heart, loved her view on the world around her and the people she encounters on her voyage so far from home. Her best friend was fun and sassy I just adored her. Sheikh Asim is desperate to avoid an arranged marriage to a business minded woman his mother has selected for him. A chance encounter a cafe brings them together and starts a bargain to try and convince his mother to change her mind. Sparks fly from the first glance and the heat just intensify as they get to know more about each other. The only disappointment was how rushed the ending felt but other than that was a very engaging read.

A Fairytale comes to mind when I think of how to best describe this book. Who would think that a chance look could turn into a fake engagement. Then end up falling in love and truly wanting the happily ever after.

Elena was an artist and her parents had died and Elena decided to take a trip around the world. Now Elena was in the Middle East with her friend Aubrey having a cup of Turkish coffee and they were in Beirut. After six weeks on the road it was hard to realize their trip was half over. Elena stuck to her rigid punctuality if left to her own duress Aubrey would probably have them still in Jordan. Elena and Aubrey had been close roommates in college and now were excellent traveling partners. Aubrey had a degree in history where as Elena had a degree in fine arts. It had been three years since Elena’s parents had died. After leaving the hotel the women stopped at a small cafe then Aubrey couldn’t find her money and as Elena shifted through her backpack the man they had seen outside the cafe came up and paid for their food. Then the man asked their names and said his was Asim. Asim’s mother has been pushing him to get married this morning she had mentioned arranging a marriage. Asim wanted to stay a player and not marry. Then his mother texted him and said she was stopping to talk to him on her way to the airport. Asim asked Elena to do him a favor and play along with him. Elena agreed. Elena agreed to pose as Asim’s fiance for one week. Asim’s and Elena’s worlds were very different. Asim found he wanted Elena with a strong hot desire. Elena felt the same. Asim takes Elena and Aubrey to his home- the palace and the women are amazed. Asim and Elena get close and not just sexually. I loved this book
, it was a quick fun read. I loved the plot and the pace of this book. I felt Elena and Asim fell in love too quickly but it didn’t take away from this story. I loved Asim and Elena together. I loved the ending. I loved the characters in this story and the ins and outs of this story and I highly recommend.

The Sheikh's Fake Fiancée is book 1 in the Azhar Sheikhs series. I found the dynamic between the characters and the storyline quite enjoyable and look forward to seeing what comes next.

I love every Leslie North book and this one isn't an exception. The emotional, gutwrenching parts plus the steaminess. Wow. I just totally love every book that she writes! I can't wait for the next.

Beautiful romance story from the amazing Leslie North. Read in one sitting and devoured the book

Well, The Sheikh's Fake Fiancée is very different from the Wildhorse Ranch Brothers series I had read from Leslie North. Going from sturdy cowboys to spoiled sheikh's was definitely a big leap. And I'm not sure if sheikh's are my cup of tea. Of course, hot and well groomed Asim is easy on the eyes and I always love to swoon about a prince. But where the cowboys are hot and grumpy, Asim is mostly afraid to be forced into marriage by his mother... And while I can understand why Elena and her friend decide to play along with his scheme, the story is a bit shallow. To be honest, I think the best character of the book was Asim's mother... She definitely played a wonderful role in the story and the comments she gives, when Elena has flown back to her hometown are actually very funny. So in all, three out of five stars from me. And I'll be eagerly awaiting part 4 of the grumpy cowboys from Leslie. With a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

It was an okay story. It followed the usual pattern for these type of story-lines. Maybe more drama for the intended wife from his mother or from the intended wife. Just didn't really feel it offered anything different.
I could have predicted the plot.
Sorry.

I was specifically looking for a light, quick, romance read, and The Sheikh's Fake Fiancee fit the bill. I could have definitely done without the wording used - a bit too strong for my tastes, but overall a fun read.
