A bit rushed in my opinion. The storyline of twin sisters who didn't know the other existed, particularly when one is a royal princess is far fetched anyway, but given this is a HEA romance anything is possible! The story starts off in a London airport powder room where the two sisters meet for the first time and very quickly they decide to 'live' each other's life for a few weeks given they were both disillusioned with their own respective lives. This part of the story is the quickly developing chemistry between Natalie and prince Rudolfo the arranged suitor to her sister princess Valentina. Rudolfo is astounded at the change in his feelings towards his fiancee, given that previously all he had felt was indifference. He had been a serial philanderer, but now found himself with strong feelings for his previously dull betrothed. The inevitable happens and Natalie finds herself pregnant. Best if you read this story for yourself. I was disappointed that not much came out about the back story about how the girls got separated and why they knew nothing about each other, which was why I said I felt the story was a bit rushed. I'm hoping the back story will be covered in the next installment which will cover the few weeks that princess Valentina masquerades as Natalie in her job as personal assistant to an arrogant, bad tempered billionaire and her quickly developing feelings and relationship with him.

Received as an arc in return for an honest review naughtiness 3*

Utterly loved this book, its been a little while since I've been able to read one of Caitlins books so I jumped at the chance to read this book and its sister book which I will be starting straight afterwards I love duos if the publisher couldn't put it all in the same book I'm glad at least that the second book is right there along with it on release day though to be honest they could both stand on their own if they wanted it that way too.

As always I will not give spoilers its as unfair to a new reader as well as the author, however I will say this, I very much loved this book its exactly why I stick to romance novels as the main genre for me I need the HEA even if theres a twisting and turning on the way to get there it makes it more special, I do get a buzz from reading romance novels and this is why especially the journey of the couple involved you know where its going but not exactly how you picture their journey to it, the most wonderful endings. This was one of them and Caitlin as always did not dissapoint, thank you Caitlin for writing it and Mills and Boon for publishing it.

Perfect for any billionaire/ bad boy loving reader. Really loved this book and how you get the alpha males but they can never be too over the top in control because of the feisty women who put them in there place are strong, smart and sexy. Can't wait for the next book by this author. Would recommend to everyone

Perfect Escapism, 5 stars 🌟 :

The premise might seem farfetched but we all supposedly have a double in the world and although the circumstances around these stories our pure fantasy that's what books are escapism from real life and your problems so if you would like to spend a lazy afternoon with an exotic Prince and a sassy Princess then I think you will enjoy this duet.

In the first book of this duet the story is set when two women who look alike have a chance meeting resulting in a trade of places for six weeks Natalie becomes Princess Valentina and the Princess becomes Natalie, Personal Assistant to Billionaire Achilles Casilieris, (we find out the outcome of this adventure in the second book The Billionaire's Secret Princess).

Both women are so alike no one notices that they swapped places so when Natalie, as the princess, meets Prince Rodolfo (who is the definition of a carefree Playboy Prince) for the first time sparks fly. Despite his thinking he is marrying for duty to the reluctant serene Princess Valentina who embodies the perfect Princess, Natalie however, makes him feel and Prince Rodolfo can't understand why he has a sudden attraction to his betrothed with whom he has previously felt nothing and had resolved himself to a loveless marriage. When the truth comes out will they marry for duty or can Natalie and her Prince find their HEA.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, although I do feel there is more to the story especially between the two sisters and between King Geoffrey of Murin and Frederica de Burgh, (Natalie and Princess Valentina father and mother) and I am hoping we learn more in book two Princess Valentina’s story, which I am really looking forward to as aspects of the story seemed a little rushed although they did not detract from my enjoyment of this book.

Fyi I received my copy from NetGalley and Mills and Boon via Mills and Boon Insiders, but this does not influence my opinions as all opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed The Prince’s Nine-Month Scandal, Caitlin Crews gives good verbal sparring and Natalie and Rodolfo had it pretty much from the get-go.

She looked the way she always did, and yet she didn’t…”

This is a twist on a Cinderella story, but rather than have ugly sisters, Natalie has a twin sister, she’s never met, a sister who it turns out is the Crown Princess of Murin. So after a little switcheroo in a public toilet, they each go off to live the others lives for a month or so.

He liked his sport extreme and his sex excessive.

Prince Rodolfo is known to be a bit of a playboy, but upon meeting Natalie (now known as Valentina) and realizing he may have underestimated the woman he is marrying. Their betrothal may be arranged, but the feelings she incites in him with her new, confident forthright attitude set his blood boiling in all the right ways.

"Maybe a little chaos is exactly what you need."

Everything happens pretty quickly in this one, even though the time frame actually encompasses a couple of months. The books title pretty much clues you in on what is going to happen with Natalie and Rodolfo, and the author set it up really nicely so that reader can move straight one the next book; The Billionaire’s Secret princess. Which I will be starting next!

"No one will believe it."

This is a good story but the second book will need to be read following it as this story is two women who look identical and swap places. Book 2 will deal with the second woman.
Assistant Natalie Monette changes places with Valentina.
Prince Rodolfo is her betrothed and he can't work out why she is so vastly different to the woman he had met with before.
I didn't like that Prince Rodolfo was such a playboy, this kind of hero does not appeal to me at all.
Otherwise was a good story, well written.
