This book was really fun and sweet and I really enjoyed it. It is #1 in the series and each book has a happy ending at the end.I say that because when reading the book, you read a few different view points and so I was not sure it was a serial. But it is a whole story.

It really reminded me of that tv show Nashville which I really enjoy and if you like the show you will love this story. Charley meets Dylan on the night of her birthday. They really hit it off and are so sweet and cute together. But Charley doesn't think she can have a relationship aand so she ducks out on Dylan.

Lucky for her fate has other plans and well I loved watching her and Dylan get to know each other better. There is a lso an element of insta love which I did not feel about the characters. But I did like them together and I enjoyed reading their story.

The big issue/breakup seemed kinda silly. I mean who quits their job, gives up their apt and moves home within a week of not talking to their boyfriend. I understand it was for plot purposes but still it was way too fast. As for Dylan, he doesn't use email? No laptop? He could have called her work. The whole thing was just silly. Luckily this gets rectified fast but it seemed very silly.

I did not love Clay and learning about his love life. I understand he and his agency is probably where the series goes with the next book and the next rising star but I did not need to know certain things about him. All in all a fun stoy that is well written and with characters I like.

Loved that fact that this story had to people finding their way both professionally and romantically, it showed their struggle to find themselves both individually and as a couple and I loved reading about that. Dylan was a sweetheart and I loved the lyrics for his songs.

This was a fun fast paced story about love and country music. Charley Layton has moved to Nashville after growing up and working at a small radio station. She is now an afternoon DJ’s in of the town’s biggest country music station, this has been her dream for as long as she can remember. Spinning her grandfather’s records in her bedroom and talking in her hair brush like she was a DJ already. Now her and two women she works with at the station Ruby, the famous morning person, and her roommate Mattie, who is in accounting. This night they are at a bar getting ready to listen to new country acts when Dylan Monroe along with his drummer are already at the bar. His drummer wants to make a play for Mattie, which is fine for Dylan because he thinks Charley is gorgeous. They end up talking and dancing, then sneak out the back and he takes her to a burger place. Both are having a good time and neither are looking for a relationship but end up back at his place where he sings her a song. After a night together she leaves without saying goodbye and meets a female roommate who says he has not been with anyone for two years. Dylan now is getting a second shot in the recording business and his manager who is a jerk has set up a met and great for a release of his single at the radio station that Charley works at, and she is going to do the on air interview also, awkward. They pull it off and he is waiting for her after she leaves work. Charley thinks everything is good and he is out of her system until they are at another show for the station and yes Dylan and his band are singing. When he sees her he changes a song to the one he wrote and played for her that night and at the end they kiss which ends’ up on the internet and she freaks out. His manager becomes a bigger jerk and when they decide to date and he ends up on a six week tour the manager becomes a total a-hole. Now he must find her and when he does deal with her grandfather which I totally like, and her neighbor Elvis, who is well just a big, big guy. This is a very good story and I enjoyed all of the characters from Ruby, all the way to the grandfather. This book is a very good book and I thank the author for allowing to read it.

In the town of Charmed nothing is ever forgotten and no matter what you did it effects your whole life. Carmen learned that the hard way. Her scandal is still talked about even though it was years ago. She just want to get out and move on with her life. When the past comes back to haunt her it turns Charmed upside down, Sully came back to be part of small town USA and to find his girl. He is not expecting her to cause him numerous problems, however he is just going to try to win her back.

This was a cute book and it has an HEA.
