Macarons are among my favorite current sweet treats.. they are beautiful, colorful, so very pretty, and have the right amount of sweetness to satisfy that sweet tooth.. They are an indulgence indeed, and while I have not yet attempted making these, the book offered more than enough tips, tricks, and details plus varieties to choose from if I ever want to (and today, years after I first got the book for review from NetGalley, my teenager is sure to attempt to make them, and she will succeed at it too!). I love how the basics are addressed first to help even the novice baker, and then the book moves on to the simplest recipe and then forward!!

This book gives a nice introduction to macarons and how to make them. Many of the recipes may seem complicated to inexperienced bakers. The book seems over-priced for what it contains.
