Any book on growing fruit that Lee Reich writes is sure to be a winner, and this is no exception. It has a well deserved place on my gardening reference shelf, and will stay there for years to come.

This is a great organic guide to growing all kinds of fruits in all climates, from citrus trees to elderberries. It's full of color photos and detailed information. I originally got a temporary digital ARC to review on Net Galley, but it was deleted before I could finish it and I really prefer to read physical copies so I ordered it from the library after it was published. I would have liked a little more information like growing zones listed for the recommended varieties (growing zones are given generally for each type like plums but not for each variety recommended) and would have loved lists for specific concerns (ie apples for cold climates, elderberries for small spaces, etc.). I also would have liked to see less common fruits and berries. Great information on pruning, pests, diseases and even easier ways to harvest. Highly recommended.
