OMG!! I found a favorite "new" author! I adored Hearts on Fire & I read this book way way past my bedtime. I downloaded the first book in the series before I even finished Hearts on Fire.

Hearts on Fire is the second book in the St. Caroline series but can be read as a stand alone. The author creates a town that I am ready to move to tomorrow. The characters were written with such warmth & depth that the reader feels like you know them.

I am so ready for the third book in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This was such a sweet treat. I thoroughly enjoyed this second book in the St. Caroline series. In fact, I have yet to read the first book in this series, but I will find it & buy it. Julia Gabriel will be on list to watch for.

Who doesn't enjoy a good love story? This one is worth the read. You will be rooting for Becca & Jack the whole time!!

Hold on to your emotions with this one, my eyes were teary almost the entire time. Becca is holding on to a secret that nobody knows about and it's killing her. Jake, the youngest Wolfe, is struggling with personal issues as well. The two of them have tried their whole lives to do things that please other people until the time has come to do what is right for them. This book is sweet and charming yet gut wrenching with the pain that both families endure through separate struggles. Becca and Jake have a small connection to the first book, Summer Again. Both stories take place in the small town of St. Caroline off the East Coast and Becca works for the restaurant at the Inn. The books can be read separately and have no bearing on the other story. This was a beautiful book and I'm so thrilled to have received a copy from Netgalley.
