Mr. Waldorf travels to the state of New York with an emphasis on New York City. He is gazing at the Statue of Liberty when he loses his glasses. As he goes from one site to the next exploring New York City, he asks the person close to him if they have found his glasses. They always say no. He even asks the park ranger at the Adirondack Mountains. He says no too. Will Mr. Waldorf find his glasses before going home?

The story was quit enjoyable and fun to read. It certainly would make you want to see the sights yourself as Mr. Waldorf had so much fun even without his glasses. This is a great book for kids to read to discover and explore new places.

Mr. Waldorf is going to New York but just lost his spectacles. Looking to find them, he is going to see not only the famous NYC destinations such as Broadway or the Empire State Building, but he will also have a look at the Niagara Falls or Adirondack Mountains - I bet many of us didn't know that they are so close from the Big Apple. Just to be sure, he also had a look at the Book Expo America, just in case his spectacles were not left accidentally there. Easily written, with simple illustrations - not the strongest point of the book unfortunately - this book can be a useful reading material for children curious about NYC and America in general, or about to embark on a trip in the city. A pleasant read with a lot of lessons learned - among which, never forget where you leave your precious spectacles.

Wonderful book about an absentminded Mr. Waldorf who loses his glasses while on a trip to New York, the Empire State. He meet new friends, visits famous places never letting his lost glasses ruin his adventure. A dog dressed in a NY Yankees hat and jacket, what's not to like?

This is another really fun book in the series- it's also really informative. In the book Mr Waldorf travels all over the state of New York after he loses his glasses and starts out looking for them. He hits some of the state highlights and has fun along the way. Its a really fun way for kids to learn whilst they read.
