Josephine (Joey) is a single mom working hard to overcome her past mistakes. Lou is a mechanic/artist and intensely attracted to Joey. The pair have amazing chemistry. Will Joey drop her guard long enough for a relationship between her and Lou to develop? I could not put this book down. A wonderful story of forgiveness and second chances.

I received an arc from netgalley and am leaving my review.

I love Marie Harte!! This is a book in the Body Shop Bad Boys Series, and we finally get Lou's story. Lou was the casanova who had a whole bunch of woman in his life, but not the ones you are thinking of, these are family members and he feels responsible for them and they also count on him, but they are a close family unit. He has never taken a woman to meet them and it is finally that time. Lou had met Joey when she was doing the flowers for Del's wedding and he was instantly attracted even though she was not like the woman he normally went for. Joey was a single mother, but Lou did not know that yet. Even though Joey tried to fight her attraction to Lou, they finally gave in and it was combustible. Loved reading about previous characters and their input. Read it my friends you will be glad you did. Enjoy!

Series is set in a garage, that’s right your everyday car repair place! The guys all have each other’s backs, and we’ve watched as they meet their significant others. This times around it’s the Latin lover Lou, who’s meeting his match in Joey, who is a florist. Great series, the characters are people you can imagine meeting in everyday life, and you root for everything to turn out okay. Highly recommended.

This was great! Lou is sexy and sweet and a whole lot of spicy! The heroine was a bit stubborn but with her back story, its understandable. The story was great! I love the chemistry and also the sweet spots where they are together as a family. I couldn't ask for a better story and I can't wait to read more!

*I was given an ARC copy in NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*
What I LOVE about this book:
- Lou's character, his family and how much he's atuned with his sense of right or wrong.
- Joey as a single mother that is both capable and fiercely smart, someone that really pulled herself through life despite her circumstances
- The same vibe and feeling of all the other books, and really warming up to all of the characters in it
- How Felix came back into play . It was actually refreshing for him not coming back to cause drama, but actually handeling things like and adult. Kudos to the author for not creating unnecessary drama with this and having characters acting as adults and setting up a trend of healthy and mature relationships.

What could have been better
- a few things here and there in the use of Spanish and Lou's mother's age and references to her being able to have more kids that doesn't add up.

Collision Course is the forth book in the Body Shop Bad Boys series by Marie Harte. While it is more satisfying to read this book as part of the larger series (and other interconnected series), it can be fully enjoyed on its own. It is currently scheduled for release on January 1 2018.

Ace mechanic Lou Cortez has always had a way with the ladies, so he can't understand why lovely florist Josephine -Joey- Reeves won't give him the time of day. Joey knows all about mistakes. After getting pregnant at fifteen, she's spent the past nine years building a life for her and her son. This sexy mechanic is one misstep she's not going to make. But the more time she spends with Lou, the hotter things get. Soon Joey's left with a choice: keep things casual, or reveal all to Lou and hope he accepts her-and her son-for who they are.

Collision Course is another roller coaster ride with complex characters. Joey has been through a lot, and is still struggling to find her own way and some faith in herself. Lou is not looking for a relationship, but is intrigued by Joey, and might just be willing to change his mind. I liked Lou's mindset, and his unique take on women, being surrounded by them most of his life. The pair are great together, and I found both their reservations and conflicts to be realistic and well written. While admittedly there are moments I want to kick characters for their decisions, assumptions, and word choices- I think the action and characters were very well written and I found their journey to be very satisfying. I think the interconnection between the characters, and the small town feel, adds a special dynamic to the book. I liked the hints to future connections for later books, particularly in the related series. I know I am now even more eager to see how things play out in the upcoming books.

Collision Course is exactly what I was hoping for from Harte. The characters and growth as individuals and a couple is dynamic and an entertaining ride. Fans of Harte will definitely want to pick it up, and newcomers are likely to enjoy it greatly as well.

This is a sweet story about Lou who sets his eyes on Joey and just wants the chance to date her. Eventually, she does agree and they have a nice time. Joey keeps from Lou that she has a young son even after he tells her he never wants to be a father. At this point, she feels like she just wants him for herself and doesn’t need to tell him since they have no long term outcome.
I felt the characters were well written as well as the plot. I enjoyed the buildup to these two getting together and reading about the friends they have in common, but didn’t realize how close to these other people they both are. It made for an interesting SPOT (lack of another word) when the story was all built up and Lou has learned Joey has a son. I fell in love with them both and wanted the best for them both. To the point of me staying up until 2 in the morning (on a work day) to see how it ended.
This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it so much I plan on reading the previous books in this series. This is book four in this series and can be read as a standalone. I do think it would have been nice to read the previous books first though in order to learn more of the dynamics between all the characters.

The most charming of the series, this is a sweet little ditty. The relationship is exemplified by their first encounter - a little flirty, a little pushy, a little humorous, and a little thrilling. Additionally, Lou's relationship with all the women in his life --- his mother, aunts, and sisters is endearing. Though not perfect, it represents the deep care they have for one another.

Great title! Why would I say that you ask? Joey is a single mom determined to make something of herself and show her parents once and for all she is more than they give her credit for. She has had a hard path but a path she forged ahead on and not only didn't give up but accomplished a lot despite her circumstances.

Lou is content on working, having fun and taking care of his family loaded with estrogen. Having witnessed the struggles of his mom with men and her quest to always have a man in her life despite what her children needed Lou knows he doesn't want to have children and relive his childhood.

Collision course- these two are on a path headed straight for one another at lightning speeds and they cannot stop the momentum and the crash that is bound to happen once they collide.

Joey is protective, strong and an amazing mother. Lou is fun, exciting and an awesome brother. Once Joey and Lou connect its hard for either of them to deny what they have yet Joey is still protective and secretive and Lou keeps pulling away.

Great read and interesting story.

DNF at 31%.

I had my doubts when I requested this book but I thought I would give it a try.

Josephine "Joey" Reeves is a florist and a single mom, having got pregnant when still at school. She was abandoned by the baby's father and had to give up her dreams of being a doctor to raise her son who is now nine years old. Her parents have always disapproved of her and her 'lifestyle choices' and nothing she has done in the past nine years has proven otherwise. Although she is attracted to the big, tattooed mechanic who works nearby she knows she needs to stay away from the bad boys.

Lou Cortez is a big brash mechanic and also does custom car paint designs on the side. He has had a thing for Joey for months but she hasn't given him the time of day. Little does he know she has a nine year old son. When he looks at Joey he sees a petite, shy woman who blushes every time she looks at him, she's different to the more brash women he normally dates. His mother has had five children by three different men and as a consequence he has jaded views about love and commitment.

By means of manipulative, passive-aggressive, semi-stalking Lou gets Joey to go for coffee with him and then out for dinner.

I'm now going to sound like a complete prude, but having spent nearly seven chapters reading about how Lou was going to go slow and be gentle with Joey so as not to scare her to read their first sex scene was a bit of a shock. Lou appears to be a caricature: the gruff, tattooed alpha male who protects his mother, grandmother and numerous sisters yet insists on referring to men being pussy-whipped and being forced to do chick things. He talks dirty to Joey and bosses her around, because of course she likes it rough in bed. There seemed to be a cast of thousands of mechanics, which Marie Harte seemed to be setting up for their own books.

31% through the book and I don't think we've seen Joey with her son for more than a few seconds - this isn't really a book about a single mom.

I just had an overwhelming feeling of meh at yet another book with interchangeable characters, having sex at every opportunity at the expense of a plot, moist folds, his constantly tightening trousers, constant swearing and derogatory references to women (but it's okay because he's the only man in a family full of women!).

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to review the book.

This was a fun one to read. I like Lou, he is ladies man and I mean that in a good way, Joey was a great challenge for him. I liked that she didn't give him the time of day when they first met, but had to be won over with small steps. Even when they started things up Joey kept Brandon a secret. It was the right choice to make as a mom and later when she confessed that she liked having Lou for herself it made me smile. Of course Lou learning about Brandon the way he did wasn't the greatest. I liked that Joey told him real soon after and not because he pushed her, but because she was ready on her own timetable. It didn't surprise me when Lou's own issues came up towards the end and he made the choice he did, making both himself and Joey unhappy. I did smile at those that came to talk to him to get his head out of his ass. Loved that things got resolved right away.

One a side note, hated Joey's parents, their snide comments made me want to bitch slap them. I was happy when Joey finally yelled at them for the way they treated her for her one mistake and how they lorded different things over her head for all of these years. It was a long time coming!

I've lost interest.

I tried the first book in the series and it started off with them all being manwhores so I stopped and decided to go straight to book 4 so that I wouldn't see all of the Hero's manwhor-ish ways.

Alas

his sexcapades were mentioned here. The heroine isn't his usual type (I got to read this more than once) and yet he couldn't keep his hands off her. He kept on comparing the heroine with all of his former hook ups. So not appealing. There is having good self esteem and then there is being a cocky bastard who thinks that he is God's gift to women.

Joey, please she is 24 and not 12 really needs a new name. She was against meeting up with Lou yet after two dates they go all instalove in the flower shop.

I have nothing against the authors writing quite the opposite it is strong and offers a lot to the reader.

This book just has nothing to offer for me.

Read it peeps don't base anything on my review.

This was a rather sweet story about Lou Cortez, a car mechanic and artist painting designs on cars, who falls heavily for a florist, Joey Reeves. She is very hesitant to get involved with him, but he tries to win her over with some sweetly-planned dates. He recognizes that she is holding back and hiding something from him. Little does he suspect that she is hiding a son whom she had when she was just a teenager.

Joey has been working hard to earn enough to leave living over her parents’ garage because she is tired of their disappointed disapproval of her for having gotten pregnant in high school.

Lou was such a great guy. He has five sisters and lots of female cousins so he’s used to women, but he takes his responsibility as the big brother very seriously. Having seen his mom fall for a bunch of losers, he’s not big on the idea of a being with a single mother or even having children of his own.

Both of them have to overcome their hangups to realize that they actually have something special worth keeping. In different ways, they have both learned the wrong lessons from their parents and it’s time for them to learn some new lessons.

This book was part of a series, and I hadn’t read any of the earlier books and it didn’t bother me.

I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

This was my favorite installment from an overall fun and sweet series. The author's style is easy flowing and enjoyable and the characters are sparkling and baliavable. I"m looking forward to the next book. Recommend!

I received an ARC from Netgalley. I truly enjoyed this book. Lou and Joey are two characters that you will fall in love with. Even though a secret threatens to tear them apart, true love always prevails. Add one little boy who helps to bring them together and you have your HEA romance. Good read.

OMG, this is just the most wonderful story! Super-cute, filled with laughter, and great moments of satisfaction Joey and Lou make such a great couple. It was just the best moment when she finall stood up to her parents. And the sexual chemistry between the two of them was just off the charts.
Great read and incredibly impatient to find out which of the Body Shop Bad Boys is up next:).

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is book 4 in a series, but it reads as a stand alone. I enjoyed the different approach, found the plot fairly unique with a single mom. I really disliked her parents. Yikes!!! This story grabbed me and sucked me in. Brandon is a cool kid. I loved abuela. I had a blast reading this one. I think most romance readers will like this. Give it a try and let me know. I rate it 4.5

Lou can sure be an easy man to get along with, “princesa, you can do any effing thing you want with me.” Lou is full of himself, but he made being full of yourself very attractive, "he smiled. “I’m too sated to be humble. Gotta get some rest so I can eff you again.” When Joey starts something her man sometimes needs to finish it, “yeah, you did. I’m hard , I’m horny, and all I want is you. Get in the shower.” I loved this book, Lou was sinful as heck.

Very slow, sweet start that suddenly shifts into overdrive with super fast drama and ILYs, this was a fun installment in the love lives of those macho garage guys from Webster's. Marie Harte delivered another steamy read about the garage guys, their gals, and the mistakes they have to make before realizing they're in love for good.

Lou is a total pretty player who has no intention of settling down but hasn't been able to make any headway with shy florist Joey. It takes a lot of patience and sweetness from Lou to coax Joey into seeing him as more than a flirty manwhore. But Joey has good reason to be cautious - the real love of her life, her young son Brandon. Having gotten pregnant at the age of 15, Joey has always put Brandon first and she doesn't know where Lou fits in her life as a single mom.

What Lou and Joey do have is a sexual connection they can't deny. Throw in pesky co-workers, nosy family members, awful parents, and the cutest kids, Lou and Joey's relationship is like a super fast rollercoaster of ups and downs. At first, I really disliked how weak and hesitant Joey was, especially as she chose to keep Brandon a secret from Lou. But learning more about her horrible parents, it made me realize that Joey, like most mothers, had put Brandon first for so long that she didn't know how to make a life for herself, much less a romantic relationship. That Lou wanted for Joey to have the best life possible made him the perfect partner for her.

Seriously, dude? I hope the flowers recipient takes you back, only so she can nut-punch you in your sleep.

No shortage of self-esteem here.

Gah, I can't stand her father. And her mother is enabling him.

Heller sounds interesting, and kind of scary.

Well now I like his mom. Corrections, mister?

Paul was a douche, Stella.

Brandon is a great kid.
