Adam is know for his ability to capture disasters through his lens and turn them into beautiful works of arts. He is strong and bold, and willing to fight for what he wants.

Alex is a caring and beautiful soul, who only wants to redeem herself and please her family. However, there's so much more to her than meets the eye. She has a strength within herself that shines through when she needs it most.

Moreland had me spellbound throughout this whole journey. These characters become a part of you as you read about their love, their struggles, and their passion.

My Image of You is a stunning novel by Melanie Moreland. With descriptive, flowing writing and heaps of emotion, Moreland tells the story of Adam and Ally, the kind of couple people call soul mates, if only her parents would allow for it. Adam lives for the thrill of being a daring freelance photographer, he's known across the world for his photos of war zones and natural disasters. When he wakes up in the hospital and meets Ally, the nurse on duty, he finds something new taking up his thoughts. He makes it his mission to know her, finding more happiness in her than he ever found behind the lens of his camera. Her family is part of upper-class society though, only a doctor would be good enough for their Alexandra, and they'll stop at nothing to keep Adam and Ally apart.

Talk about complex characters, even the secondary characters have history and personalities that drive the story line forward. My Image of You has the sort of characters you feel like you've met in real life. Ally is sweet and endearing, a perfect example that you are not a direct reflection of your upbringing, while Alex is alpha, jaded, but more than willing to fight for what he believes is right. I love his career and his dedication to not just photography, but to helping Alex experience a life she'd been so sheltered from. They're from opposite sides of the spectrum, raised completely different, but their chemistry and compassion is so similar. Their relationship is made up of all those cheesy moments readers love, because we want them for ourselves. They're the ideal and though Adam and Ally have to fight to be that way, their relationship is magical...at least for a time.

"'Mine,' I whispered, my breath blowing over her cooling skin.
'Yours,' she replied. Nothing, and no one, was going to change that. Ever."

More than the romance and the chemistry, I really enjoyed that Moreland gave so much weight to the struggles Adam and Ally faced as a couple. Family issues and distance caused by a career is real, this happens in people's lives all the time, and these moments are massively significant to how a relationship works. It would have been so easy to gloss over these moments, consider them a bump in the road, but it was more than that and the reader can feel that in My Image of You. You could feel the character's physical pain as they missed their counterpart so much. Then there was the twist, it was magnificent. The prologue gives a brief glimpse, but it has nothing on the events that takes place over the course of several chapters. It's shocking, a deceitful disintegration of a beautiful romance. The broken pieces of Adam and Ally will make your heart hurt, but Moreland gives readers what they want, characters that fight for what they want.

"All those months summed up in one, beautiful, frightening word. Adam."

I really enjoyed My Image of You and I think romance readers will fall in love with this new Loveswept title. Melanie Moreland gives readers a captivating love story and made me fall in love with Adam. I can have him now that I finished the book, right?

How can a few stitches to a head end up with a soulmate you cannot live without. Adam is a photographer who brings to life the tragedy of natural disasters and war. Ally is a nurse who has had no love and support from her family. When this unlikely duo meet in the ER, Adam finally feels he has someone to come home to, but Ally's family tries to tear them apart. This emotional story had me going from laughter to tears and even had to put the book down. From the angst, lies, deceit and hatred from Ally's parents it was a wonder they both found their true loves. An awesome story that I highly recommend.

Enjoyable easy read with a little angst thrown in. The story follows sexy bachelor and photographer Adam Kincaid (a true gentleman with a hint of alpha) as he meets and falls in love with Alexandra (Ally) Robbins, a nurse who is emotionally abused and blackmailed by her mother and stepfather. After living her life under the complete control of her family she finally finds strength in Adam to distance herself and break free. Unfortunately, life throws them both a curveball and the path to true love is not quite as neatly laid out as they (or me for that matter) would hope. Lovely writing and a great plot told mostly from Adam’s POV, some fantastic supporting characters, lots of sexy time with some emotional moments thrown into the mix. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Adam is a daring freelance photographer who after an accident getting his latest shot, he meets a nurse, Alex. Alex has had a tough life with death and control being the root cause of her pain thanks to her heartless mum and step dad. Her caring nature is amazing to Adam after all he's heard and wants to be with her.

However, they can't be together properly as Alex is forced to date Bradley a surgeon friend of her step dad's business associate to be seen as getting a good deal for the family. Yet there's no spark and its amicably felt as well or so Alex dares believe so Adam still has hope they can be together one day as he knows Alex is only serious about him despite Bradley trying his best...

Alex's aunt Elena likes Adam and approves meanwhile obviously her mum and step dad disapprove. As well as that, the two really deeply care for each other as their passion grows stronger for each other they know they have to be together.

I really enjoyed this book, their careers were great in joining them together how they did and Adam really was a prince charming desperately needed by Alex.

Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!

My Image of You was a good read. This story focuses on Adam and Ally. The prologue was absolutely perfect and I was completely hooked. However, after the prologue the book had a slow start. I enjoyed both Adam and Ally's character, but I completely hated her mom Sarah. She has to be one of the worst mothers ever, and she was scandalous as well. How could Bradley believe everything Sarah told him, was he really that gullible? I disliked how Ally let her mom and stepdad Ronald control her. I was glad Adam said everything he did but I would have loved if it came from Ally's mouth instead. I wanted her anger, hurt, and betrayal directed at her mom instead of her letting Adam say everything. She was an adult and I wanted her to stand up to her mom. There were a few surprises in this story, some I saw coming and some I never expected. Adam loved Ally unconditionally and she deserved to have someone love her and be there for her. Overall, it was a good read with a sweet ending and I look forward to reading more books from this author.

Melanie Moreland is an author that is a hit or miss for me. I loved 'The Contract' , but never got into 'Over the fence'. This is another hit for me....!

Alex (Ally) is a nurse and Adam is a photographer who gets injured and meets said nurse. The relationship between these two is wonderful, until something major happens.... and it is major. The prologue sheds a light on what happens, but nothing is as it seems and Adam is willing to fight for the love of his life.

I quite enjoyed the road to happiness for these two. A good and solid romance that thugs on your heartstrings. Melanie Moreland always adds a bit of drama that is sometimes a bit cheesy, but alas, cheesy is sometimes what I want.

Once again Melanie Moreland enchants me with her words. She has one voice in contemporary romance that is not to be missed. My Image of You cocoons you tightly in their world that you never want to leave. Adam and Alex are beautifully complex characters that are delivered to the reader with equal parts of lust, humor, tenderness and love.

Adam is what I would refer to as an understated alpha. His persona is charming and captivating. He has a job that would make any adrenaline junkie jealous. And he passes that passion onto those he loves with evenly matched ferocity. As a reader, you can't help but feel as deeply as he does throughout the story.

Alex is a gorgeously written heroine who waters run deep. She has an inner strength that shines brighter as the story progresses. Although her glow may dim at times, it's finding that one that helps you glimmers all the time. With Adam, her character doesn't just twinkles but radiates. You don't feel sympathy, but empathy for this endearing heroine. You WANT her to have her HEA.

I would be remiss without mentioning the secondary characters. Ms Moreland never writes these characters as someone to move the story along . They are as necessary as the main characters need air to breathe. Elena again is one character I wish I knew in real life. She leaps off the page and into your heart.

If you are familiar with Melanie Moreland's writing, My Image of You is right up there with The Contract and Beneath The Scars as favorites of mine. If you are not, you will not be disappointed with this bewitching story. 5 out of 5 stars

I'll write this as quick as possible, because I want to re-read this amazing book!
I love Melanie Moreland's writing, from the moment I set eyes on one of her titles and it was love at first sight!

I didn't think any book could top The Contract.
But here we are, and My Image of You is the most loving, caring, dreamy book I've ever read.
My eyes are still puffy and my heart has been forever given away to Adam.
I didn't want it to end..I hoped for a second and third epilogue, so that I could continue reading through their lives!

It was such an emotional and touching read.
I laughed, I cried and I fell in love (for both of them, but maybe Adam a bit more!)(well not maybe... I certainly need to find me an Adam!)
You know that feeling when you meet for the first time your forever love? Your soulmate? That intense squeezy feeling in your chest, belly and sternum, that makes you want to burst and at the same time wishing that time stood still, so you could feel this feeling forever?
THAT'S what this book made me feel.

The story was wonderful. The plot twist...I didn't expect that tbh! Well done!
We got to really meet our characters. Fall in love with them, and feel what they felt. This was a strong write at its finest.

I only have to say my congrats to Melanie.
She did it again! I wish she'll never stop writing.

And I'm deeply grateful to be given the opportunity to read an early copy.
Thank you!
