I really enjoyed this book on scripture memorization. I can see myself rereading it again in the future. It was a quick read, but had good information.

this book offers exactly what the title suggests.
Which might sound like a stupid review, but there really is not a lot more to say which in my option and with how many books i have recently read that had nothing at all to do with what the title or the summary said the book as supposed to be about, it is a rather raving review in my option.
If you are looking for a way to learn how to memories scriptures, this a good book to try since it does exactly that!

A very helpful guide for helping one to learn scripture memorization. It goes in some good detail about how to learn successfully and why. I was excited to see how it was done and knew it would be easy to put into practice.

Unfortunately, Strauss went on about Bible versions and how one is better over others and why. When he uses his illustration, it's not a good one and shows error between the two - and why the one he has chosen is not the best version. With his views slanted towards one version over the other, there is now room for error. The verses chosen has comments with them and both the KJV and NIV verses are printed for the reader to use.

I like the overview of all the books of the Bible as well as an alphabetical list of verses, but I'm not thrilled with the telling that one version is superior over the other. If that is felt, then only use the preferred version.

Overall, I'm walking away with how to memorize scripture, but will pick the verses and do the research on my own.

This is a great guide for anyone who is looking for help in memorizing scripture. It is well written, helping you easily understand the techniques used. I recommend this for people just beginning to read the Bible and people who are well knowledged in the Bible. This book is for everyone.

This is a decent scripture memory book. I didn't love it, since I'm more interested in extended scripture memory of entire books of the Bible. There are better books out there, but this isn't bad as a first read about scripture memory.

Very good book for all in their religious walk.I liked that this book took time to explain scriptures and a way to memorize the teachings outlined in this book. Very good resource. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

A slow read, not because it's bad, but because I really want to take my time and learn the verses of Scripture off by heart.

Ed Strauss offers up some great suggestions of how to memorize Scripture and offers up 110 examples of verses to learn off by heart chosen from every book in the Bible. I preferred making my own decisions of which verses to learn off by heart, but his examples are a great selection to start with, for people who might perhaps not have the same Biblical background.

However, my absolute favourite part of the book were the 3-4 lines of introduction Ed Strauss wrote about every single book of the Bible. It makes for a really comprehensive guide and background to your reading.

The description actually gives a pretty good overview of what is all packed into this book, but I must say I was supposed how surprising valuable and useful this resource is! Not just how to but why and with emotion not just boring write and repeat because you should. A really great resource for all true believers! And a really great price!
