What a tremendous continuation of The Steel brothers story. I can't tell you in words how much I enjoyed the beginning of Ryan's story... nor the end! Oh my word... I can't wait for the continuation!!

OMG Helen hardt did it again. I read the book in 24 hours I could not but it down. had to keep reading to see what was gonna happen next. and the ending what can I say besides WOW
the book does not disappoint.

Helen Hardt has done it again. I am so in love with her books and the story of Eve and Ryan is an amazing story that draws you in and holds you. The things these two have been through in their past draws them closer together and develops a relationship filled with lust and heat. I don't want to say anymore and spoil anything, just read it, you will love it like I do.

OMG! the twists and turns so exciting the story gets better and better with every book

Shattered is the beginning of Ryan's leg of the Steel brothers' journey. He is joined by Ruby, who plays an integral role in the big picture. Together they have some dark, mysterious roads to navigate to reach the final piece of truth everyone has been searching for... but first, a double celebration! Talon & Jade, Jonah & Melanie are getting married! I enjoyed this lovely element to the book. As with the previous editions, there are equal parts intrigue and sweltering romance. It is about time the group have a spot of joy. Of course, this is a Helen Hardt world, so there is always something lurking around the corner, so who knows how long it will last?
Ryan and Ruby are great together. She walks the walk of truth and justice, and he is more than just the jovial, " best looking Steel".
I truly enjoyed Shattered for all of the emotional twists and turns.

Shattered is another must have from Helen Hardt! I fell in love with this series when I started reading Craving and haven't been able to get enough since. The series can't be published fast enough! If you're looking for a darker romantic suspense series this is the series you should read. I am telling you, it's completely addictive.

This was by far my absolute favorite of not only this series but all of Helen's books! Shattered is simply phenomenal ! Amazing!! I don't think I can wait to read the next book! I've liked Ruby since she was first introduced. You can feel her pain and her empathy for others. The chemistry between her and Ryan truly sizzles !! Must must must read!

If you haven't read this series yet, start with CRAVING, book one. The first three books (books one, two, and three) follow the romance between Talon Steel and Jade Roberts, the next three books (books four, five, and six) follow the romance between Jonah Steel and Melanie Carmichael, and the final three books (books seven, eight, and nine) are to follow the romance between Ryan Steel and Ruby Lee.

SHATTERED begins the romance between Ryan Steel, aka Snow Creek's hottest Steel brother, and Detective Ruby Lee's romance. Hardt continues to delve into the mystery surrounding the Steel brothers, a dark, twisty plot that began with book one. This book also introduces Ruby's dark past, and together, they explore them.

Keep in mind that these books are extremely erotic, semi-low on plot development, have some themes that may be considered triggering, and always end on a cliffhanger.However. Hardt's writing is quite captivating, so you may still be able to enjoy the series.

If you enjoy extremely dark themes in your erotic romances, you will love this series! I give it a 5/5 stars.

First i want to say I have read all the Steel Brothers books from day 1.. This has been a series i look forward to and love. This book did not disappoint me in any way. I read this book in one sitting i could not put it down. This is the first book about Ryan Steel the youngest of the 3 brothers and now everything is coming to light about their lives and loves.. All I know December is so far away for the next book and this one ended on a cliffhanger.. Keep up the great work Helen this series is only getting better. I would suggest to anyone to read all the books they are well worth it.

Seriously, I hate having to wait for the next one! You've got me hooked and I need to know what happens next. Well done.

In 2016, Helen Hardt was a new author to me. I took a chance with her Steel Brothers Saga and I have to tell you, she is quickly becoming one of my go to authors! WoW!!! Just WoW!!! I have to tell you, you all need this series in your life. It’s the perfect balance of romance along with being a mystery and a thriller all at the same time.

WARNING: Shattered IS NOT a standalone! You have to read all of the other books in the series to even understand what is going on.

That being said, Shattered starts a new couple! YES, you read that right!! We finally meet Ryan Warren Steel. Ryan is the younger of the Steel brothers. What a rollercoaster ride of a ride this one was. Surrender (Steel Brothers Saga #6) ends with a CRAZY line!!! We are left hanging in typical Helen Hardt style. In Shattered we learn so much more that will blow your mind…. Sorry, I feel like if I say more, then you will hate me forever.

In the previous books we met detective Ruby Lee. I did not like her at all! I was wondering if Helen Hardt would be able to change my mind because I knew that she was going to be Ryan’s perfect match. Turns out that I nothing to worry about. I loved Ruby in this book. I loved the chemistry between her and Ryan. I loved that she was willing to do what she could for him throughout this book.

I feel like I cannot tell you anymore in this review. It would give the entire story away and again, you all would kill me! That being said, Helen, you knocked this one out of the park!!! And O.M.G. the last sentence in this book…. O.M.G. What are you doing to me?!?!?!?!?!

Twisted (Steel Brothers Saga #8) is the FINAL book in this series. I need December 26th to come NOW!!! With the last sentence in Shattered, I know that Twisted is so going to live up to its name!!!!!!!!!

This series is simply brilliant! I am so honored to have the chance to read and review this series. Helen, you have a fan for life!

This book was riveting. It gad my toes curling and my skin shivering. Loved every word and love this series and author.

Helen Hardt you have done it again!! This is the seventh book in the Steel Brothers Sagan it does not disappoint. This book picks up right where Surrender leaves off. We follow the point of views of Ryan Steele and Detective Ruby Lee in this novel.

Ryan is considered the best looking and jovial of the Steel brothers. What he is unaware of is that his family is keeping something from him, It will only take a buried secret and an unexpected person to shatter Ryan's world. Ruby Lee has had a rough life and ran away when she was 15 to get away from her father who tried to molest her. She lives her life guarded and untrusting, can Ryan shatter (like what I did there?) her hard exterior and can they figure out how their lives are connected? Such a great read, I read this in a sitting and can't wait until book 8.

I read it in two sittings, would have finished in one, but chores got in the way! Ryan and Ruby were so lovely together! A sweet romance that slowly built and felt real. I have not read the earlier Steel Brothers books, but I sure want to now. Helen Hardt is a fantastic author.
What an emotional but riveting read. I loved Ruby's character she was so smart, strong and feisty. Ryan was great too. The Steel Brothers are a caring, close family. Can't wait to read the next instalment.

I have never read Helen Hardt's books but after reading Shattered I have no excuse not to anymore. Ryan and Ruby's story pulled me in and made me want more..... And that ending WHAT??? Can't wait to dive into the series from the beginning. Loved Ryan and Ruby can't wait for the next book.

Wow, I am shattered after reading this book. I read this book in one sitting. It was everything I had hoped and more. Ryan the youngest Steel brother is the focus in this book. He falls for Ruby Lee who has just as dark of a past as him. There are so many pieces that come together and you are left with just as many questions. Ryans world is literally shattered. Everything he believed to be true may not be afterall. Excellent writing. Helen Hardt is the master of cliffhangers.

Holy crap what an intense book. The Steele saga continues with the youngest brother Ryan and the question of who his mother really is and what role did she play in the abduction of Talon. While more information is found more questions come to the surface. Also thrown into the mix is Ryan's relationship with Ruby, while the chemistry is explosive, can the lies and the baggage from their pasts be overcome to continue. This book was an emotional rollercoaster that took me from happiness to tears to the end where I was swearing at my kindle. Helen Hardt knows the exact way to hook you in and leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this book.

Ms. Hardt not only sprinkles her pages with sexy scenes, but she has developed deeply flawed characters with relatable issues and weaved a gut-wrenching story around them. It’s clear from reading SHATTERED that each of the Steel brothers has worked hard to keep some secrets buried deep in the past where they belong, and when one of them finds the right woman, what was once held close to the chest suddenly can’t be contained. Detective Ruby Lee’s determination to find the truth at the expense of her attraction to the hella-hot wine-maker, Ryan Steel, is admirable. I love a strong heroine and Ruby Lee rocks it.

I have read all of the Steel Brothers series.. So, when this fell in my lap, I of course, JUMPED at the chance to read it!! I don't know how the author does it. I usually have most books and endings figured out before I even finish half of the book . Sooooo not the case in this series and with this author. I always end up saying NO WAY!! REALLY? THIS IS A GREAT,FAST PACED READ!!! Something is up with the Steel brothers during this Book. How much Can One Person take?? How Much More Can This Family Take?? This is definitely worth the read. I would suggest starting at the beginning. Read This Series!! You won't Be Disappointed, I Promise!!!
