Lady Eleanor Sutherland was referred to as Lady Frost by the ton. She had 5 suitors but she turned them all down. Camden West had been in India for 10 years and had just returned. He decided to blackmail, Lady Eleanor.
A more complicated and surprising story can not be had. It all gets so complicated. The author has written an amazing story about two families and the naughty things they do. There are a lot of twists, people have their hearts broken and make bad decisions. But the author takes it all and makes it into an even paced and easily read tale. The characters are well rounded and so realistic. I loved this book especially when the two sisters went out to the terrace and finally talked to each. Lady Eleanor comes to interesting conclusions. It is a racy story but still an excellent read.

I loved this book! Camden West is out to right a wrong and Lady Eleanor Sutherland is going to be the one to pay the price. He blackmails her into an engagement and she fights him at every turn. Back and forth, these two parry, each having the advantage for barely a moment before another secret is unearthed. Will they ever stop their conflict long enough to realize they were perfect for each other?
Ms. Bradley is a talented author and has woven an intriguing story of revenge, guilt, regret and finally love. I was hooked by the first chapter and my attention never waned as I devoured page and page wanting to find out what will happen to Camden and Eleanor. I was definitely not disappointed. Fans of Regency Romance will definitely enjoy this book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series about Eleanor's sister, Lady Charlotte!

Cam and Ellie were a great read! I loved the dynamic between the two of them. I couldn't put this book down! You won't be disappointed.

Camden and Eleanor are complex characters who try to outwit each other at every turn. Camden wants revenge or is it justice from the Sutherlands. Eleanor will settle for nothing less than love. Camden was a hard person to like – he has his issues but is only doing things out of love for his sister. Eleanor was not much easier to like – she goes behind his back to get him to back out of marrying her and to find out what he really wants. If only they would just talk. After reading the first two books in this series I thought this might be a light read. Definitely not but definitely an enjoyable read that had me smiling at the end.

I read an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair review. Growing up with a very nasty father Lady Eleanor Sutherland promised herself that she would always look after her sister and that she would only marry for love. When we meet her she has just turned down her sixth suitor a young man who is only pursuing her in order to win a bet. Having observed her for most of the season Camden West decides that he will claim his revenge on her father by blackmailing her into marriage. He convinces his cousin Julian to compromise her sister Charlotte knowing that Eleanor will do anything to protect her. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately for him he severely underestimates Eleanor, fooled by her nickname of Lady Frost into thinking her to be shallow and superficial he is in for a rude awakening and may find his revenge not all he thought it would be. I very much enjoyed this book and look forward to reading Charlotte’s story too.

I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This was the first book that I had read by Anna Bradley and I honestly couldn't put it down. The story was very well done. You kind of hated Cam for most of the book but I did so love the story. Lady Eleanor was a strong independent woman that knew what she wanted. I loved that! I laughed and cried and really just enjoyed this book.

This is the first book I've read by this author and it was absolutely fabulous! This story of revenge, ruin, and regret with two people, Lady Eleanor and Camden West, had me hooked from its beginning. The plot involves a past transgression and a desire for revenge on the part of Camden, but it pulls the reader in with his attraction to Lady Eleanor, aka 'Lady Frost', as she is known by the men of the ton for refusing suitors. Does he want her for revenge? Lust? Love? Will Eleanor acquiesce to West's desires or run? The plot is enthralling, with the perfect build up of heat between the two main characters.
I highly recommend this book to regency romance readers as it was impossible for this reader to put down from the first page. I will also be waiting for the next book in the series, as I'm hoping it will be every bit as wonderful!

After I read a novel, I either archive it or save it to read again. This is definitely in the ‘read again’ folder! The premise for the novel is that Camden West will extract his revenge from Lady Eleanor (Ellie) Sutherland by forcing her into marrying him. However, the threat of exposing the secret that his cousin, Julian has compromised Ellie’s sister, Charlotte, is not as simple as it seems. Ellie has rejected six suitors and has gained herself the title of “Lady of Ice” but she does this as she wants to marry for love. In his attempt to force Ellie’s hand, Cam finds himself falling in love. Ellie slowly begins to realise that Cam is a man of character which is at odds with his actions. The events that transpire had me transfixed. Ms Bradley writes with such intensity, drawing out the angst and feelings of the characters. Not only are the central characters well-developed but characters from past books are cleverly woven into the plot. Thankfully, there won’t be a long wait for the story of Charlotte and Julian to be revealed.

I received a copy of this book from the publishers Kensington Books, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.
Lady Eleanor is well aware that the betting books are filled with wagers about her. She embraces her nickname of Lady Ice as she refuses to settle for anything less than love.
Camden West has returned after eleven years in India. He is determined to seek revenge on the Sunderlands and will use Lady Eleanor to accomplish this.
when emotions are involved, even the best plans can fall apart.
I enjoyed this book. I loved Lady Eleanor, she was intelligent and humorous. She was prepared to surrender her own happiness to save her sister.
I look forward to reading the next in the series.

Absolutely enchanting and enticing story with delightful and intricately written characters that hold your attention right from the first page. A story about revenge and love that brings together Camden and Eleanor is heartwarming and difficult to put down. I highly recommend this book and cannot wait for the next one in the series.

Oh, I think this is my favorite summer novel so far. I absolutely loved it. There are so many small things (and big ones of course) that are magnificent.
In the beginning we meet Eleanor, a young woman the ton likes a lot but she already has a nickname “Lady Frost” because she refused 6 suitors so far and in the beginning the refuses the sixths. The very second this happens her sister Charlotte is on the terrace with her own suitor. Because of the young Lord Eleanor couldn’t chaperone her sister and comes too late – she finds her intimately engaged with the young Julian West.
Camden is only a step behind Eleanor, Julian’s older cousin – what Eleanor doesn’t know that this is all part of a huge ruse, no an act of blackmailing. And Cam’s idea is rather easy: If Eleanor doesn’t want her sister to be publicly ruined, she has to marry him within a couple of weeks.
But Lady Eleanor is a witty young lady who isn’t simply pressed into a marriage she doesn’t want. She refused already a lot of suitors because she wants to marry for love and nothing else.
.
Further on we learn about the reasons why both – Cam and Ellie – act the way they do. That’s what I love about this novel. Ellie doesn’t want to end like her mother – invisible to her father. She died every year a little more in his presence.
On the other hand is Cam, he is into trade and not an aristocrat. He has a younger sister, aged 11, and he cares for her a lot. He is all she has because his parents are dead for many years now and she was raised by his aunt. What the reader doesn’t know is that there is a connection between Camdon’s sister Amelia and Eleanor’s family I realized that at around 20 percent.
But there is a lot of passion, seduction and lots of things you can read between the lines. Eleanor is strong-willed and beautiful, she has strong and influential brothers, a sister who loves her dearly and who is her best friend. Eleanor is about to do everything to save her sister’s virtue and tries to uncover all of Cam’s secrets but she likes Amelia a lot without knowing about her past – and she doesn’t care about it.
When I read the novel – within a day of course – I fell in love with the leads. Bradley has a hand to describe their inner turmoil. You really feel with them.
While reading I had my iPod on and there was this song “Kiss of Fire” sang by Hugh Laurie and Gaby Moreno and it so reminded me of those two – Cam and Ellie – and the passion between those two (specially the kitchen scene). This song fits them so perfectly.
My only wish: Anna Bradley please write a passionate epilogue the next time! I would have needed one. A really, really passionate one. Oh yes!

What’s it About? Lady Eleanor Sutherland has had quite a few offers of marriage but she’s declined them all and everyone is wondering why. She’s even earned the nickname “Lady Frost” because of how unmoved she appears by her suitors’ offers. What they don’t know is that Eleanor will only marry for love. Unfortunately Camden West knows something about her sister Charlotte that could ruin her and the rest of the family unless Eleanor agrees to marry him. He won’t say why it’s so important that he marry a Sutherland but it isn’t for her money or her social connections and she isn’t giving up or giving in without a fight.
Overall reaction to the story? Lady Eleanor’s Seventh Suitor kept me up late into the night with its solid revenge-ruined-by-love plot, lively characters, and the charming relationships between them. Cam and Eleanor were well matched in pretty much everything and I loved seeing them go from barely concealed contempt to hopelessly in love. And as if their romance wasn’t addictive enough, Anna Bradley builds the anticipation and the angst between Eleanor’s sister Charlotte and her first love.
Describe the hero in five words: Stubborn. Loyal. Protective. Intelligent. Caring.
Did you like him? Yes.
Why? Cam treads the fine line between villain and hero, it’s something he freely admits several times during the course of the book but even when he was being forceful with his demands, he was never brutal. Were there times he was mean? Yup and he deserved a kick in the butt for it but in his defense he was blinded by love for his family. I really did expect for him to show that he was doing it more for himself instead of his family but he truly did want to protect his family. In a way that softened his rougher edges and the lengths he went through to secure that protection. It was hard to hate Cam when he was so loving and indulgent with his family. A person would have to be seriously cold hearted not to be moved by softer side of Cam.
Describe the heroine in five words: Intelligent. Vulnerable. Kind. Stubborn. Loyal.
Did you like her? Yes.
Why? Eleanor’s love and loyalty to her family is rivaled only by Cam’s, but he underestimated her big time. I loved that she didn’t cower in fear or accept defeat easily. Eleanor fought back in the only way that was left to her as a woman of her time: She used her brain and was stubborn enough to fight back even when the odds were against her. She wasn’t an idiot, and she wasn’t submissive. I loved that about her and when she was vulnerable it was in a completely relatable way.
Let’s talk about the romance: Cam and Eleanor had a long, uphill battle on their hands. They started off not even liking each other, which tends to happen when one party blackmails the other into marriage. It was a real cat-and-mouse battle of wits between them and what made it so interesting was that Eleanor could hold her own against Cam even when he had almost all the power. I was really curious to see just how a strong relationship, let alone a romance could develop when Cam was blackmailing Eleanor and neither really cared for the other. The situation lent itself to a lot of time spent together to make their “courtship” believable to society and in between moments of antagonism these two stubborn characters let their guards down and a convincing romance started to grow. I just loved it.
How about that supporting cast? Charlotte and Julian’s scenes were such a tease! There was a muted longing coming from both of them and Anna Bradley gave just enough of a peek into their complicated beginnings to whet a reader’s appetite for their romance. I honestly can’t wait and if Cam and Eleanor’s romance hadn’t been so good I would have totally been distracted by Julian and Charlotte.
Click It or Skip It? Click It! Lady Eleanor’s Seventh Suitor brings back the charming Sutherlands but it also stands out as a solid revenge trope romance. Cam and Eleanor were a great couple and I read their story in only two days!

Would've enjoyed this book if West wasn't the biggest dickhead. I could not ship him and Ellie together because he was such an arsehole towards her.

This booked hooked me right from the beginning. I like strong lead females. Ellie definitely was! Great story. Can't wait for book 2!

Anna Bradley writes great Regency romance. Can't wait for the next one.

This novel was an enjoyable read. I liked the plot and the characters. Who ever thought revenge and justice were simple? A plan never goes accordingly and complications always arise, usually unexpectedly.
Lady Eleanor Sutherland has rejected the proposals of six suitors and has been named Lady of Ice. Ellie will only marry a man for one reason...love. Camden West wants revenge on the Sutherland family for past misdeeds. He uses his cousin to compromise Ellie's sister and then blackmails Ellie into marrying him. Ellie will not go down without a fight. She plans to figure out why Cam is targeting her and her family. Cam's reasons have to due with his sister, who he believes deserves more than what life has given her so far. Cam believes Ellie to be like all the ladies of London, but is intrigued when he discovers she unlike the ladies of the ton. Ellie cares deeply for her family and will do whatever is necessary to protect them. She tries to discover Cam's reasons so she can use it against him to get out of marriage to him. As she gets to know Cam, she sees he is a good person and it causes conflicts with her plans. As Cam sees the woman behind the mask, he realizes her wants her, and it gradually turns into love. He cannot let her go knowing that. When truths are revealed, it affects both Cam and Ellie, who love each other but have each "cheated" in the game and use cruel words towards each other. Maybe the influence of a young girl can bring the two lovers back together.

This is my first Anna Bradley book but will not be my last. She does a wonderful job of character development and the portrayal of the plight of women during this era. You will quickly become invested in Ellie's future and enjoy the path of her "romance".
