In Lia Riley’s follow-up to It Happened On Love Street we visit Everland Georgia once again. This time the focus is on that other Manhattan transplant, Tuesday Knight. As Peppers sister, Tuesday is very much in the proximity of her sisters fiance Rhett and his best friend Beau. Tuesday and Beau have a bit of a contentious relationship, which leaves us with a great frenemies to something more story.

I absolutely love the language Riley uses. It’s clever and this really sets the tone for the story. There’s an air of magic and playfulness. As an actress Tuesday has been working in character at a local tourism draw. She plays a princess and this whimsical element repeats throughout this read. I think what best illustrates this is Tuesday impression on mayor and pseudo friend Beau:

“Her toes curled in her fake glass slippers as she fought the unwelcome pyrotechnics detonating in the pit of her abdomen. Beau Marino, aka Hater of Random Acts of Joy.”

Yes, Beau and Tuesday have much to work through; their attraction to each other, her role as an ambassador of sorts for the landmark point of interest she works at, both of their pasts, yada, yada ,yada. They exemplify the classic opposites attract, but really, are they so different?

Once again the locals butt in and evil machinations are exposed, but there’s a great group of Everland residents (aka. The Back Fence biddies) who interplay and keep they story flowing well. This story made my heart feel light, and Riley’s writing made me giddy. It’s fun and the pure romance of it made me happy. 4.5 Stars and recommendation for the contemporary romance read.

5 SWEET FUN STARS!! This was a great sweet fun book, I could not put it down. The story was perfectly written with just the right amount of feels. Lia Riley is the best for making us fall in love with her characters. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

As a massive Lia Riley fan, this book did not disappoint at all. This is the second book in the Everland series and I absolutely adored every moment of it. I laughed and swooned. I wanted to throw stuff and yell. I love that a book makes you feel all these emotions!
I really enjoyed Tuesday in the first book, she was quirky and fun and had great wit. Then you add Beau, it was a gong show in such a great way. These two sizzled in chemistry and their banter was absolutely priceless! I love how she brought out so much in Beau.
Overall, this book is a great addition to the series. The story flowed amazingly and you get great side characters that just add that much more depth to the story. If you have not read anything by Lia Riley, you are missing out big time because she has such a classic way of spinning a tale that you cannot help but fall in love with her characters!

One of my favorite things about the Everland, Georgia series is the small town feel. It always makes things a little bit more interesting and sucks me in deeper to the story, curious to see everyone's reactions and how the characters will fit in with the town as a couple.

Beau and Tuesday's story was a bit of a slow-burn, which ultimately worked for the two of them and made me dig a little deeper into the story. I loved the banter between these two, it really helped show their relationship progressing and a deep connection between the two.

Tuesday was unabashedly herself, she was fun loving - but deeper than you'd expect at first impression. Beau comes off as Mr. Serious at first, he's not really about the fun, flighty aspects of life. And yet there's some major chemistry between these two, and an undeniable connection they can't seem to shake.

The Corner of Forever and Always is a total story of opposites attract told with banter, swoony moments, and characters that pulled me in from the start. With more of the small town feel of Everland to add to the story, I was happily enthralled and couldn't wait to see what would come next. Lia Riley wrote a really fun, sweet, happy story that left me feeling refreshed and smiling.

I was so excited to read The Corner of Forever and Always. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, It Happened On Love Street which is about Tuesday's sister and Beau's best friend.

Right off the bat we have to talk about the titles, don't you just love them? Someone was working overtime when they came up with these. I will admit I think they are some of my favorite titles and I've read a lot of romance books in my time.

If you haven't yet tried a book by Lia Riley you don't know what you are missing. She adds humor with quirky characters and tons of romance. You can't help but want to live in Everland Georgia with them.

You of course meet both Tuesday and Beau in the first book and you get a taste to who they are but you don't really get to know them. In their book you really learn what lurks beneath the surface. I enjoyed both of them very much but at times Beau drove me crazy!

He was so worried to not repeat the past they he couldn't see his own future in front of him. I wanted to shake him and yell at him to get a clue! Not to worry, he finally did. Now this doesn't mean that Tuesday is perfect, far from it. She just didn't piss me off as much.

Even with what I was feeling at times I really enjoyed this story and town. You'll leave Everland Georgia wanting to come back for a visit again. Do yourself a favor and read these in order. They are better that way. Both Pepper and Rhett are mentioned and interact often. This is the perfect series to start your fall out with!

The Corner of Forever and Always by Lia Riley is the second book in the Everland Georgia that follows two sisters and their journey to find themselves and love. I enjoyed this book! I’m a sucker for a small town romance and this is definitely that.

Tuesday Knight is a girl from a small town who tried (and failed) to make it big in the city. Now she finds herself a little lost. Everything she dreamed of as a child is so far out of her reach now. She wanted to be a Broadway star, but her naivety and longing for love cost her what little reputation she’d gained. Running to Everland was supposed to be temporary. Her and Pepper were going to go to another big city far from Broadway, but instead Pepper’s engaged and she’s working at the local amusement park as a princess. My heart ached for Tuesday. She’s viewed as the flighty sister and no one expects much from her. BUT she has such a big, kind heart. Everything she does (and I do mean everything) is for someone else. She keeps her own feelings private and makes decisions off what makes others happy. It’s sad and sweet at the same time.

Beau Marino is the mayor of Everland and the town’s widower. His past is heartbreaking and really explains his actions and how he presents himself. He’s a workaholic, pouring everything into his job and love for his town. Beau had big dreams too. He wanted to make Everland a destination for tourist, wake the sleepy town and save them from their neighboring competition in Hogg Jaw. He wanted a marriage like his parents, someone who would love and care for him as he would her. Except his marriage wasn’t picture perfect. His deceased wife was horrid and left him the night she died. No one knows that except Beau. Instead of being allowed to be angry at his wife for her decisions and ending their marriage, he had to play the grieving husband. This hurt has turned to bitterness and my heart broke for him. He’s kind and big hearted, yet he’s built this impenetrable wall around his heart, letting no one in. That is until he meets Tuesday.

This book really focuses on romance more than anything else. There is of course what brings the two characters together (the potential closing and tearing down of Happily Ever After Land) but it’s more of a side story to move the romance along. I enjoyed the chemistry between Beau and Tuesday. Despite being near complete opposites, they have quite a bit in common, reminding me of my own relationship with my husband. It’s a sweet, slow buildup to love….even if it’s lust-at-first-sight.

Overall I really enjoyed The Corner of Forever and Always! As much as I liked the two main characters, I love the side characters as well. I love the small town charm and meddling. Everyone knows everyone in this book and it makes for a fun, light-hearted read. If you enjoy contemporary romance, I highly recommend it. This book can be read as a standalone, though I do recommend reading the first book in the series It Happened on Love Street as the characters from this book do play a role in this one. Also FYI, this is an adult book with strong language and some sex scenes.

“You probably think I’m crazy,” she muttered.
“Let’s be clear.” He removed his helmet. “I definitely think you’re crazy. But here’s the important thing. I think I like it.”

There are few things that give me greater joy than small town romance, especially when written by Lia Riley. I just love reading her words—her cheeky moments, her serious moments and her sweetly romantic moments, all. And, having just finished The Corner Of Forever and Always, you could say I’m feeling pretty joyful.

There was just something about this book that made it the perfect book for my lazy, hazy Sunday. I smiled, I swooned, I ached. I fell in love with both Tuesday—that name, BTW, is super cool, IMHO—and Beau. More so, perhaps, because they had the opposites attract thing going on that made sparks fly.

They verbally sparred and poked at each other, but ultimately, they were a match made in Heaven… or, more specifically, in Everland, the cutest coastal town—with the quirkiest and craziest cast of characters—in all of Georgia. Even if it, if they, are fictional.

I hope that there will be more in this series from Ms. Riley, because I’m not done with Everland yet. And, of course, I can always use a dose of joy in my life. But if not, I’ll make do with re-reads of this—and her other—series . My love affair with her words isn’t confined to sweet small towns, after all.

'Her bright gaze wasn’t a punch to the gut; it carved his bones with all the ruthless efficiency of a diamond cutter, remaking him into something new, strange and multifaceted.'

The Corner of Forever and Always by Lia Riley was a such a sweet and charming romance of two total opposites who could not be more perfect together.

Tuesday Knight wanted to star on Broadway, but when she realizes it is not meant to be she moves on. Now working as a princess in Everland, Georgia’s historical amusement park she is content. I loved Tuesday. She was such a free spirit a bit flighty, but such a good person with a big heart.

Mayor Beau Marino is all about work. He was a very straight-laced workaholic to Tuesday’s whirlwind personality. He was moody and not very sociable, until his world collides with Tuesday! She is everything he does not want, but the attraction is strong. It was so much fun watching them try and fight it.

I loved how different Tuesday and Beau were from each other. They had huge chemistry and I loved their back and forth banter! The characters were very likeable and the story was just so sweet and fun to read. There is some drama, but overall just a charming romance!

The Corner of Forever and Always is the second in Lia Riley's Everland series but my first book by this author. I never felt lost of confused by starting with the second book though and the focus stayed on the main characters, Tuesday and Beau. These characters easily drew me into their relationship with their banter and sexual tension. It was fun to sit back and enjoy their interactions.

Tuesday was a bit of a free spirit and she was overall a super nice and genuine person. Sometimes she could come off as a little uncaring but as I read on it was clear that wasn't the case at all. I thought her personality mixed really well with Beau's more straight-laced one and it caused them to have major sparks flying through these pages.

This book had everything I could want in a Contemporary read, the sweetness, the fun loving characters, and the overall happy feeling of the story. It may have been my first book from this author but I won't let it be the last. I can't wait to go back and read more from this town and past characters.

I wanted to read this one after book 1 because the couple seemed like a disaster to happen, in the best possible way.

Beau works and works and works. No time (or will) do do anything else.
Tuesday is a whirlwind who jumps in puddles and plays a princess at an amusement park.
He is a mountain, she is a river. Oh they are perfect for each other. He needs to live, she needs a bit of structure in her life.

Yes like I said, these two are opposites. He went through a bad marriage, she has failed relationships behind her. She wants forever, he wants a boring workaholic. But obviously they fancy each others pants off. There is lightning and they fall in lust and love.

But there is also a sidestory where they will clash over something, and then there are people from a nearby small town who tries to ruin the chances for Everland to grow (long story, will not spoil the details ;)

Conclusion:
Romance, gossipy ladies in a small town, dogs and new friendships being made. A cute story

Everland, Georgia may be small town, but the heart that drives this community is as far reaching as the stars in the sky. Lia Riley is a genius. With her catchy titles and her fetching characters she has created something wonderful. A place where people can grow and find happiness. The Corner Of Forever and Always is a candy coated delight. An aphrodisiac that keeps on giving long after the last page has been read.

This was so fun. It had the meetcute that wasn’t quite and watching these to very stubborn people go gaga.

tuesday was feeling like she was not worth much. She loved her job and the people around her but she was also hiding. Hiding from her past. and trying to figure herself out. She wanted to be strong and independent. Put together. Little did she know that she was all these things and more. She was also stubborn, determined and fierce. And when it comes to the mayor whoa boy do we get some really fun and witty banter. these two you feel the crackling attraction and chemistry but also them fighting it and each other along the way.

Beau is sexy and strong. He cares about his town and people. His wife did a number on him and man if the people knew what she was really like they would be outraged. Because of this he guards his heart and throws himself into his job as mayor.

Tuesday and Beau get along for the sake of his best friend and her sister or so it seems. Their worlds collide when her job is on the line and he is trying to find a way to help his town.He wants to keep Everland open and still gain a boost for the town. The pressure is on him due to unseen forces and a big discount store wanting in. That story will ruin the feel of his home.

So what happens when they collide for the same cause but for different reasons. Sarcastic witty banter, entertaining moments like the log ride and bumber cars, explosive chemistry, tender times and stubborn streaks a mile long. But the do grow and realize their feelings. It’s hard for them though do to their pasts. Beau and Tuesday understand each other and help each other become better people. they help them forgive themselves and let go. they learn to trust themselves and their feelings. Believe in themselves and each other. They support each other and help each other come out and be who they are meant to be.

The story has a danger element as well. We also get pirate booty, small town gossip, tuesday calling out Beau when he acts as a idiot, sweet times, sexy times and a sense of family. We get a mystery and romance. the romance is slow burning and entertaining.Loved Beau’s reaction at the end. And the big heart of Tuesday helps Beau heal. A truly fun entertaining romance that captures you with two fun stubborn main characters that are caring and kind but needing to let the past go and let love in and trust themselves.

I was so crazy intrigued by Beau Marino in It Happened on Love Street. I could wait to dive deeper into his broody, closed off mind. And I wasn’t disappointed. He’s all gruff, antisocial, crabby hero (my favorite), with the exception of the time he spends in the company of Tuesday Knight – and that sort of set-up is darn near irresistible to me.

However, this one wasn’t a perfect read for me. I wanted to spend more time in the romance. I wanted more time with Beau and Tuesday driving each other crazy (and not just in a carnal way). I felt like a lot of attention was given to a secondary storyline (and, well…the conflict, I suppose) and I needed more spark and feels for their budding relationship. Mind you, it’s a quirky, lighthearted and fun story either way. It’s got all the small town hijinks and colorful characters you could ever imagine. It’s an entertaining and easy read – but it didn’t hook my heart the way I wanted it to.

Still, it was a super sweet, quick and easy read full of small town charm (and small town drama) – a little uneven for me, but definitely worth the read. ~ 3.5 Stars

Vibrant Tuesday Knight is making her way at Everland's amusement park. Having not made it on Broadway as is her dream, she is making other plans. Mayor Beau Marino is Tuesday's opposite stiff and orderly the mayor doesn't often care for Tuesday's carefree ways. When an offer is presented to him to replace Everland's amusement park for a market chain he has to consider it. Tuesday tries to work with the mayor to make sure the amusement park stay where it is. Neither one of them is expecting opposites to attract.

In an Oyster Shell -  A sweet romance with a great storyline.

The Pearls - I love small town settings they are my favorite. Small towns usually mean quirky characters and Everland does not disappoint. There are a lot of oddball characters in Everland which makes for a fun read.

The juxtaposition of Tuesday and Beau was playful and interesting. Neither Tuesday or Beau really expect opposites to attract. Yet they do and it is an entertaining experience for the reader. They end up working really well together and the unity of the two is refreshing.

Lia Riley's small-town romances are so heart-warming. I loved loved loved the glimpse we got of Tuesday and Beau in the previous book, and waiting for The Corner of Forever and Always was torture, even though it was only a few months wait! I started this book one evening with a giant smile on my face, and excitement buzzing in my veins, and I finished the book with those same feelings, only heightened.

I truly think this is one of Lia Riley's most memorable book to date, and it's safe to say, it's all because of the characters. Heroines like Tuesday can be very frustrating for readers. She is flighty, a little bit all over the place, and happy-go-lucky ALL THE TIME. But the author writes her here with so much personality here, that it's easy to fall for her character and root for her happiness. Tuesday is all sunshine and rainbows, and she brings a lightness to the story that kept me in the clouds at all times. I adored her personality, especially with how kind and selfless she could be. When she puts her heart into something, she goes all out for it. She is a truly endearing girl. Of course, she's not all perfect and happy all the time. She does struggle with something that she did in the past that I won't divulge here for the sake of spoilers, but even when she makes mistakes, Tuesday does them unintentionally. It was interesting to pair her up with Beau, who is the complete opposite of her when it comes to their personalities. A bad marriage and his wife's death has left the grumpy workaholic mayor quiet and reserved and intense. His absolute devotion to his town and the happiness of his citizens is what makes him and Tuesday alike. Just as I adored Tuesday, I adored Beau. I fell in love with the guy in It Happened on Love Street, but here, I found myself absolutely swooning over his character.

The romance that grows between Tuesday and Beau is very satisfying. They start off the book being attracted to each other, but their personalities clashed in basically every way and they did not see eye to eye on a lot of aspects. As the story progresses though, we see them actually have conversations together, and they realize that they can't stop thinking of each other. The progression is slow, sweet and steamy. The Corner of Forever and Always may not have a bazillion steamy scenes, but Tuesday and Beau have super hot chemistry that will leave readers breathless. They are an adorable couple and gosh, I just loved them together. The intimacy between them, the back-and-forth banter, and all the pushing of each other's buttons made the romance a delightful experience. I was also thrilled to see the cast from the previous book make appearances in this book. It was lovely seeing Pepper and Rhys still going strong. We're also introduced to a sweet, but rough around the edges young girl in the foster system who becomes very attached to Tuesday, and forms a lovely bond with her. I also still adore the small-town setting in this series - the meddlesome and nosy neighbors, the quaint little shops and the legend of the hidden treasure add a special element to the book.

For me, The Corner of Forever and Always is even more superior than It Happened on Love Street. This is Lia Riley at her finest. She writes the most wonderfully enchanting stories that leave you bursting with joy at the happily ever afters.

Opposites not only attract, they combust in Lia Riley's newest installment of her Everland, Georgia series. Beau is a very stoic man who that love comes easy when it is meant to be. Tuesday is a woman who doesn't follow rules. They both realize that they want each other, but don't know how they could make it work. While working together to bring more money to their town, that have a hard time keeping their thoughts to themselves.
Beau believes that he needs someone add regimented as he is, so he goes out with someone he believes is a good fit, but he quickly realized that he was incorrect. When they finally give in, he makes her feel horrible afterwards. Luckily, he realizes his mistake pretty quickly and attempts to make things better.
The addition of the young foster child that needs help was a wonderful part of the story. The way the treasure is brought into this story was also done wonderfully. I can't wait to see who the next book is about.

THE CORNER OF FOREVER AND ALWAYS – Lia Riley

Everland, Georgia, Book 2

Contemporary Romance

Everland, Georgia – Present Day

After a scandal ended her acting career, Tuesday Knight starts over again in Everland. She is employed as a “Princess” at a local amusement park that is popular among locals, but money is tight, and finding (and trusting) a man to date is hard. She also has to deal with the disapproval of the mayor of Everland, Beau Marino, who thinks she’s a ditzy blonde. Tuesday probably wouldn’t have to see Beau much if it wasn’t for the fact that Everland is a small town and he’s also her sister’s fiancé’s best friend. But one interaction leads to another, and the attraction that once simmered below the surface between them comes to life.

Beau is dedicated to enriching and helping the town, so when he gets an offer from an investor to buy out the amusement park, which sits on town land, how can he gently let Tuesday and the other amusement park employees know that he’s closing it down in order to build a store? After he’s injured in an incident at the park, it’s Tuesday who comes to his aid and takes him home, where her tender ministrations lead to a kiss that fans the flames of desire. Beau can’t believe it…he’s attracted to Tuesday, a woman who seems ditzy, but he soon learns that beneath her carefree exterior she’s as intelligent as she is beautiful. She’s lobbying for the amusement park, and this puts her on a collision course with Beau when it’s revealed he’s considering an offer for the property. How will this affect the love that is slowly growing between them?

THE CORNER OF FOREVER AND ALWAYS by Lia Riley returns readers to the funny and enjoyable little town of Everland, where there are colorful characters and plenty of hijinks going on. We first met Beau and Tuesday in IT HAPPENED ON LOVE STREET, which was Pepper and Rhett’s tale. Tuesday initially comes across as a bit of an airhead, but deep down, she’s hurting from finding herself in the middle of a scandal that wasn’t her fault. She got involved with an influential producer who she thought was separated, but she found out differently when his wife found them in bed together. Tuesday is still mortified by it and prefers to leave the info buried. Will it come out in THE CORNER OF FOREVER AND ALWAYS. Hint: is water wet?

Beau is considered uptight and always acts responsibly, which is interesting since his parents are free-spirts. He enjoys his job as mayor, even if he has to deal with little bitty problems that take up time, or having to give bad news. But the town would benefit from selling the land the amusement park sits on, as it would bring a big store to their little town. Yet, the park is very much a part of Everland’s lore. Beau has a big decision to make.

The interactions between Beau and Tuesday are engaging and funny. He clearly doesn’t take her serious at first, but she proves him wrong. Even as they both try to avoid the other, they can’t. Their chemistry builds slowly in THE CORNER OF FOREVER AND ALWAYS, but by the middle of this book, it’s a four-alarm blaze. But, while Beau and Tuesday finally give into the passion, they have to keep it secret because there are too many matchmakers in town who’d want to claim they matched them up first. Beau and Tuesday aren’t looking for a future together, but as they soon discover, there’s a lot more than a temporary fling going on between them.

Minor characters include Pepper and Rhett, plus Flick, a teenage foster girl that Tuesday grows to care for. Flick plays an important part in an amazing discovery late in THE CORNER OF FOREVER AND ALWAYS. And as always, Everland is a town full of crazy characters that pop into scenes and will have readers chuckling.

Summer may be over, but THE CORNER OF FOREVER AND ALWAYS is that perfect beach type read that will have you smiling and grinning as you enjoy the romance between Beau and Tuesday. Grab a copy and sit a spell, because this tale is one that you won’t want to put down.

I had enjoyed the previous book in this series and absolutely loved the hint of Tuesday we got in it, so as soon as I saw she was the MC, I was all over it.

Tuesday is just as flighty and fun as I expected. She's genuinely nice and super loyal and it was so easy to root for her. Beau is stand off-ish, but passionate and I loved their banter and button pushing. Oh and their chemistry was amazing.

Plot wise, there was a bit of repetitiveness in the inner monologues and perhaps a teeny tiny bit of push and pull {but the good kind!} It was pretty much a big ball of fluff: very low angst and a super satisfying ending. There is the odd-man POV again, but thankfully it was only a couple of chapters.

Overall, it was a cute, quick read with characters I adored. I certainly hope there's more to this series because I'm not ready to give them up.

**Huge thanks to Forever for providing the arc free of charge**

I feel bad I don't have much to say about this book. It wasn't bad but I did struggle a lot to finish it. Tuesday's character bugged me a lot but that is more of a clash of personalities. I found her flightiness and some of her cases of bending the rules to be a bit much. It came across to me as irresponsible and immature to me more than endearing. Beau's uptightness was more understandable to me and while I thought he needed to loosen up I did like his character. And the other reason this book was just meh to me was that for small town romances I normally fall in love with the supporting characters as much if not more than the main characters. However, it's been about a week since I've read this book and I can barely remember much about them other than the foster girl who takes a shine to Tuesday and the fortune teller from Everland.

So while the book wasn't badly written I honestly can't recall many of the details because it took me so long to get through this book and it just didn't stick with me.

**4-4.5 stars** Oh how I loved revisiting Everland, Georgia! Lia Riley’s books are such a joy for me to read. I loved this opposites attract story about Tuesday Knight, a free-spirited woman and Beau Marino, the workaholic, responsible, serious town Mayor.

Beau had a terrible marriage in the past and isn’t looking for a relationship, especially with a woman like Tuesday Knight. She’s everything he’s not. If he’s going to get back in the dating game, he wants someone just like him. But there’s something about her that gets under his skin and he’s having trouble fighting his attraction. Tuesday doesn’t want to have feelings for someone with the likes of Beau either, but that’s proving to be a lost cause.

When the two of them work towards the same goal of saving Ever After Land, the town’s amusement park and Beau trying to get the coveted “Coastal Jewel” designation (something that could help their town immensely with tourism), it gets harder to deny what’s between them. But there are some people working against them and secrets from Tuesday’s past that could threaten any chance they have. Will they be able to look past their differences and see that they could be good for each other?

This small-town contemporary romance was such a delight to read! I really enjoyed Beau and Tuesday’s story!
