I liked this book the writing was well done and I was entertained. The characters likeable and the plot kept me reading it

How can anyone put into words how beautiful a story is and the feels you got when you read it?

As a reader most of my life I crave a book that will stand out, that will stay with me for a long time. Nineteen Letters is definitely going to stay with me for a long time.

I started this book this morning and I’ve just finished. I’m looking at my arms and can see the goosebumps this story gave me, the feels was awesome.

Nineteen days after marrying Jemma Braxtons life falls apart when she is involved in a car crash. After being in a coma she wakes up and doesn’t recognise Braxton. His love for Jemma is strong so he’s going to fight for their love through Nineteen Letters.

It’s been a while since my whole being wanted and wished for a happily ever after for a main character. The love that Braxton had for Jemma had me rooting for him.

I can honestly say this is one of my favourite reads ever. I will be recommending this to anyone that listens and doesn’t listen to me 💕

Great story by Jodi Perry. Heartwarming, emotional, just beautiful. Really fabulous story, that kept me turning the pages!!

Holy moly. I have had this one sitting on my kindle for ages, and good lord almighty I have no idea why I waited so long to read it.

This book. This book is everything. The feels. All. Of. The. Feels. All of them. Oh my gosh what a story.

I was hooked on the right from the get go. What a way to start a story. And I knew straight away that it would make me feel. Oh gosh what a ride.

Jemma and Brax's story is amazing. Brax's determination to give his wife back her memories through those letters, and yet trying to hold himself back and give her space, while hoping, yet trying not to hope too much, that one day he will get her back? Wow.

Their story is so damn sweet, and learning it in bits and pieces with Jemma through the letters, and then through the questions she asks of the people around her, is truly amazing. Injuries like the ones she suffered would be so extremely hard to come to terms with. Your memory is everything, and something we all take for granted.

I loved the way her family and friends supported her, and I loved seeing her slowly coming back into herself, even if she didn't even realise it. The way Brax showed her his heart, and hers too, was just so amazing. He is everything a girl could want in a life partner and best friend. What a swoon-worthy man.

It's really hard to put into words how much this depth and emotion, and even detail, this story has. Its definitely a favourite of mine and I highly recommend reading it.

This is a very moving and very heart warming romance between two souls seemingly destined to be together.
Guaranteed to get you in from the first pages and keep you hooked to the last.
If you love a good heartfelt romance then this book will not disappoint.

Tissues and chocolate, and possibly wine, could be acceptible accompaniments to this read because you will not want to put it down too often.

This is such a gentle and moving story. While the prose flows, the story is full of intense emotions that allow you to wallow in their depth and move with both the pain and pleasure of the situation of the characters. After nineteen years of knowing each other, after nineteen days of being married Braxton’s wife Jemma is in a car accident which leaves her with no memory of her past. Braxton writes nineteen letters to try and revive her memory but also to reignite their love which he constantly declares

“What we had was far too beautiful to be forgotten.”

This book had me hooked, what a beautiful love story. If only we could all find that one person who really gets us. After a tragic start to the story we watch the two main characters learn about who they are and we get to relive the life they have shared through Brax's letters to Jem. I can't imagine losing my memory and not knowing those around me, Jodi Perry does a good job of giving you the insight into how both the characters are feeling and how they are handling this situation. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

Braxton and Jemma were inseparable as children. Childhood friendship grew to love and eventually marriage. But on her way to work only 19 days after their wedding, Jemma is in a car accident. When she awakes from her coma, she has no memory. No memory of Braxton, of her parents, even of the simple things like what she likes to eat or how to order in a restaurant.

And so begins Braxton's campaign to win back his wife's love. She's uncomfortable being around him, so he starts sending her letters, memories of the past they have shared.

Nineteen Letters was a lovely, sweet story. It was engaging, easy to read. The use of letters made the flashbacks to the past work within the story. It didn't bring me to tears like others have said, but it certainly did make me smile. Highly recommended.

This was my first book by this author and I was excited to read it because I loved the premise of the story and the author is from my home town of Sydney.

I found Nineteen Letters to be a very sweet romance. A heartwarming love story with some poignant messages that we can all relate to.

Braxton and Jemma were childhood best friends and undoubted soulmates that later became high school sweethearts and a natural progression to husband and wife. Nineteen days after they were married, Jemma has a car accident that leaves her in a coma and when she wakes up she has no memory of her past what so ever.

Braxton is completely shattered that she can’t remember him or their love and how strong their bond has always been. She doesn’t want to see him or speak to him and definitely doesn’t want to go home with him when she is released from hospital. My heart broke for Braxton and his evident pain but he was so resilient. He wouldn’t give up on her and their true love. This is where the story takes on a second chance romance type of feel because Braxton decides he will write her letters about their past as a way to help her remember and win her back.

I absolutely loved Braxton and how much he loved Jemma. This man had no flaws and was just perfect. His letters whilst at times a little wordy delivered a very moving account of their lives together. The highs, the lows, the happiness and laughter together with the tears, anguish and heartbreak. Through it all I never doubted their love for each other and their families.

The last 25% of this book was great for me. It changed it from an average 3 star to a 3.5 to 4 star read. Braxton’s relationship with his dad really resonated with me and tugged on my heart strings more than I would have thought. The last 2 letter he wrote to Jemma and the epilogue were my favourite parts of the book.

Whilst overall I enjoyed this book, I must admit I had a problem in that the Author never disclosed a location. With the language being authentically Australian together with celebrating Christmas in Summer and eating Vegemite sandwiches for lunch I felt it was warranted. The quintessential Australian references for me stop it from being a universal setting and begs for an actual location. I think the author has done herself a disservice here, Had she delivered this location piece well, she would have had not only her international readers add Australia and that location to their bucket list but her Aussie readers as well. I find I connect more with the book if I can look up the location and make it more relatable.

Definitely a talented author whom I look forward to read more of.

It’s all about the significance of the number ‘19’ for Braxton and Jemma in this love story. However, what happens when everything they had is gone? After a tragic car accident, can Braxton rekindle all that he has lost due to Jemma’s amnesia?

The best thing about this story are the letters - you kind of get two stories for the price of one here, as Braxton so lovingly relates all that Jemma has forgotten (inclusive of charms for a memory bracelet, no less). All the significant dates are strategically placed throughout her tale of recovery, but will it be enough to win her back?

“If Jemma won’t listen to my spoken words, she might at least read my written ones. She needs to know what our lives were once like.”

In each of the nineteen letters, Braxton chronologically recounts many of the memorable events in their long history together - from childhood friends through to marriage. Each installment see’s Jemma become more understanding and open to the reasons of why they fell in love and were soul mates. It seamlessly correlates to the present day and never appears to be out of sync or just thrown in for good measure.

This brings us to one profound aspect of this tale - it is a love story, pure and simple. No added drama or outside distractions - just a man trying to win (again) the heart of his soul mate. You will find yourself eagerly anticipating the delivery of a new letter and what the matching charm will be. Braxton is every girl’s dream - from stalwart supporter as childhood friends, to pure devotion and commitment of not let going of all they once shared. One simply has to let go of reality and fall under his spell as Braxton has a way with words that will reach right into every woman’s heart.

Naturally there will be those that cannot swallow such sickly sweet devotion and adoration. This man can do no wrong! However, if you can see past all that and embrace your inner hopeless romantic, delve into a true romance read as you join ‘Team Braxton’ and each of his nineteen letters, hoping that you will get your happily ever after.

4 Forever Boy Stars

This was an amazingly sweet love story! The patience, love and unwavering commitment that Braxton had for Jemma had me absolutely SWOONING!

These two had my favorite type of friends to lovers romance. They grew up together as kids living next door to each other and eventually they drift into their romantic relationship. They were each others first in every way. There was never any OW/OM drama.

Then tragedy strikes and Jemma suffers from head trauma and does not have any recollection of their life together. My heart absolutely broke for Braxton. His pain was so PALPABLE.

THIS MAN WAS EVERYTHING! Even though Jemma physically recovered from her accident, he basically lost his wife. Despite the pain he is in, he makes every attempt to comfort Jemma and puts her needs before himself. This man was so patient, so understanding. His love was so SELFLESS. He then goes on to write the most romantic letters to Jemma to give her reminders of their past and the love they had for each other.

This story will make you cry and it will make you laugh and it will make you SWOON!

WOW this is an amazingly beautiful story there is so much emotion and beauty in this story I could hardly put it down I cried, I laughed and I smiled but above all I felt the emotions and love that is shown by Braxton Spencer to his wife Jemma after a tragic accident nearly takes her away, this is a must read story for anyone who loves a truly magical story.

Braxton met Jemma when he was seven and Jemma was six and her family moved in next door and this started a journey to an absolute true love, they became the best of friends they were always there for each other helped each other through some tough times and laughed through the good times. The number nineteen was very special to them both in so many ways nineteenth of January is the first time they meet and it pops up many times in their lives. Their friendship grew to love and a partnership that would bring such joy to them both.

Jemma had moved from the country and it was a day that would change her life forever it was the day she met her new neighbour Braxton and what a hero he turned out to be for her, she had never had a friend as good as Braxton they had such an easy going relationship even as they got older and fell in love it went from strength to strength although she is sure she had loved him on first sight all of those years ago.

This book has left me speechless it is so amazing I can’t begin to tell you what Braxton went through on the day that Jemma had her accident and both their lives were changed so much when she awakes from the coma she has no memory of their lives together or her life at all but Braxton never gives up and starts writing her letters about their lives together hoping these will help her to remember the love they had, without Jemma part of his soul is missing and Jemma loves these letters and the special gifts that come with them. Honestly keep the tissues at the ready you are going to need them but there are laughs along the way as well and such sighs and smiles. It is going to be very hard to pick up another book after this one I am not going to forget this one for a long time to come. Thank you MS Perry for a gorgeous story that is a keeper.

It's so romantic! And not just this. Nineteen letters by Jodi Perry is the real fight of a modern warrior for his eternal love conducted with great determination, lightness, tender touch, and following the natural course of the time.

It's a book this one written with great grace, using the voices of the two main characters, and all the possible heart and sensibility.

Shockingly fluid writing-style, it's like if this book would have been told by the same Braxton and Jemma without barriers, without mental restrictions to any thought, it's like if the protagonists would be "mentally naked" in front of their personal history, feelings and if they would want to confess and tell to the reader everything, every personal emotions, every part of their love-story with sincerity.

God, what a wonderful book! Just for this.

The story in itself is so romantic. This couple is wonderful, they have a great physical and mental connection.

Jemma was going to work one day when she experiences a serious car accident. Braxton her husband is devastated, but much more when Jemma returning to life after a period of coma, won't remember any of their dear ones. For Jemma her mom, her dad, her husband perfect strangers.

But so, what to do? Jemma's mother's will ask to Braxton of never giving up. "Write her letters..."
Braxton is too in love with her for giving up and the idea of writing to her sounds a good idea. Written words can be more powerful and absorbing. They remain, awakening old feelings maybe.

And Braxton starts to write. He writes down their beautiful love-story started at the age of 7 years, the most beautiful moments spent together...
The letters will be 19 because 19 to them is a magical number.

In the while Jemma will remember? Will there be the happy end for this couple?

I won't tell you this because I want that you must read this masterpiece of love, understanding.

I hadn't never read any books by Jodi Perry. She has a new reader for sure.

It was simply sweet amazing and beautiful written.

Braxton and Gemma met at 7 and 6 years old and became the closest best friends until they became something more at 17 and 18. Just 19 days into their marriage Gemma gets into an accident and loses all her memories. Braxton writes her letters describing their life together over the years to bring her back to him. Perry writes the greatest angst and makes you feel the emotions as they roll off the page.

Braxton and Jemma's story was something to behold. The number 19 was important throughout their relationship and continued to play a role in their story throughout this book. Braxton finds himself having to get Jemma to not only remember him, but remember the love they felt for each other. Her car accident took away her memory of all her friends, family and him, but Braxton never gave up hope that he would get Jemma to find her way back to him. He devised the writing of letters to let her know snippets of their past in order to get her to connect with him and possibly stir up her memory.

Jemma was confused for most of this book. I did like how she tried to move forward after allowing herself to wallow for a while. She did come across as selfish at points and I felt bad for Braxton and her family that they had to endure that. She knew nothing of her past and was hesitant to let Braxton in. Her mother, Christine, seemed to be quite selfish also so it seemed to be a character trait in these 2 women. We find out that Christine and Jemma's father divorced and she absolutely flew into a rage whenever he was around. She didn't care what a spectacle she was making of herself, she only thought of how she could hurt him. It got a bit old for me.

Braxton was a true romantic and I enjoyed reading all of the ways he tried to get his love back. He did give Jemma quite a bit of room to come to grips with their past. He didn't really push and let Jemma set the pace for most of this book. I did like how he incorporated the memory bracelet into the letters and went out of his way to try and prove that their love was truly the most important thing to not only him, but her as well. I enjoyed the ending and thought Jodi Perry did a good job of getting the reader to feel all of the emotions that both of these characters were feeling.

Nineteen Letters is a friends to lovers, second chances. Braxton and Jemma Spencer are a newly married couple when an awful accident occurs and Jemma loses her memory. What transpires on the pages are nineteen letters that Braxton writes to her to remind her of all they've shared and how deeply they loved. The number 19 is significant to their relationship as you will discover. The letters that Braxton writes to Jemma are amazing. Braxton is a lovely man - caring and supportive every step of the way. Never wanting to give up and lose what they have together, he fights hard to get back to where they were. Jemma is somewhat frustrating with her attitude but I guess that is to be expected considering her condition and everything she seems to have lost. Secondary characters add a little flavor and support. My only complaint is at times the story moved a little slowly and some parts seemed repetitive.
