I loved the way this story had me almost moved to tears at times following the ongoing relationship between Jamie & Bea. I found this story to be gripping as I did not seem to be able to put the book down once I started reading it. I could almost feel it pulling my heartstrings. I would recommend this book and the author.

Having just read the first part of this linked duo of books I was looking forward to reading this second part and I wasn't disappointed. This book covers the story of Beatrice de jesolo (doctor and princess), the best friend of Francesca ( the bridesmaid to Beatrice at the wedding that didn't happen) and who was the main female character of the first book. Beatrice's story continues after her aborted wedding when she has taken a job at a clinic where she believes she will be safe from the intrusive attention of the world's press only to find that the clinic's director is Jamie, the only man she has ever loved, and who she threw over to make a marriage to a royal prince for her family's sake. Obviously the marriage didn't happen. This book covers Beatrice and Jamie's ongoing story which I will leave for you to read yourself rather than spoil it for you. It is really well written with enough medical side story thrown in to add interest. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and unreservedly recommend it.

I am reviewing Claim His Pregnant Princess by Annie O'Neil. Here are my thoughts:

^^ I love it when you read the first book in a series, and a character you know comes back into the next story. Which is just what happens with this, in book 2 of The Italian Royals a medical romance series. Bea and Jamie meet again. But of course, in this one, there's an additional bump in the horizon.

^^ Until recently, I had not read Annie O'Neil's work, or a medical romance. I was always put off with the idea that 'hospital' romances were too clinical and boring -- perhaps people were always dying everywhere in the middle of it -- but they're nothing like that! And since reading these I can happily say I've had a complete turn around of view and find myself really enjoying this series.

^^ I have a friend who would love this series, so I'm hoping to get the paperbacks very soon!

Overall: Another enjoyable read about these two Royal families, in this case Dr. (and Princess) Bea di Jesolo and Pediatrician Jamie Coutts mixing another great tale of romance with the medical world.

This is book 2 of 2 and is every bit as good, if not better, than the first book which centered on Fran and Luca. This story is about Bea and Jamie and their story will move you to tears as well as make you smile with happiness. A lovely read which I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone.

Dr Princess Beatrice di Jesolo leaves the man she loves (Jamie Coutts) in favor of the man her family wants her to marry. She leaves him on her wedding day and hides in Italy working at a trauma centre but little did she know that Jamie is also working there. The Spark between then is soon ignited again and little does Jamie know of the extra surprise Beatrice is keeping hidden.

An enjoyable, well-written, super sweet second chance romance and the second book in the Italian royals series.

This is the second book in this series and i enjoyed the first book so much that i went straight onto this one after,i am so glad i did this one is even better than the first book.A super read that will suck you in right from the very start you wont be able to put it down.This one is Bea and Jamie's story and damn this one nearly had me in tears at times i just loved this book and would recommend i cant wait to read more from Annie

Utterly adored this book, managed to read it in one go and couldn't out it down, having literally just read its sister book I was able to dive straight in and was most definitely not disappointed in any way.

As always I never give spoilers its unfair to the author and potential readers. Its after all the job of the blurb to give hints to the story inside however I will say this, it was completely heartwarming and heart breaking at the same time this hea is definitely hard earned by them both, I wept with the heroine of the story and was outraged for our hero at times also. I was completely captivated and was definitely along side the characters all the way. Another moving but amazing book by Annie that not only again proves love is the best medicine it definitely tugs at the heartstrings of the reader.

Annie O’Neil’s ‘Claiming His Pregnant Princess’ is a whirlwind of compact emotion, as two people in love overcome past differences, misunderstandings, and remember what love really is.
The story of Bea and Jamie tugs on your heartstrings from the very first page. Bea is still licking figurative wounds after being left at the altar, and dealing with other consequences of choosing love for her family over the love of her life, a decision she regrets to this day. She decides to use her doctor training at a tucked away medical clinic where the patients change on a daily basis, generally made up of tourists of a more adventurous nature. Jamie could barely pick up the pieces after his relationship with Bea ended, upset for not fighting more, for how things turned out, for almost destroying himself in the aftermath. After a particularly difficult case, he escapes to a medical clinic, unbeknownst that his newest hire is the woman he still cannot get out of his head. They deal with shock of being in one another’s company differently, both more than willing to attempt to put differences aside on behalf of their patients, the love of the job almost, but not quite, rivaling their hidden love for each other, even after all this time.
I really enjoyed the gradual development of their reimagined characters, how they tried to recreate themselves after their loss. Jamie going off the deep end, but coming out stronger, more confident, and a bit more reckless. Bea learning that family, whilst important, isn’t everything, and learning how to find the strength within herself to be who she truly wants to be, even if she can’t be with the person she still loves more than ever. Besides their ever-growing personalities, showing how people can indeed change, and that those changes can be for the better, there is a good use of medical knowledge filtered in throughout the story, keeping the everyday action of actually being at a medical clinic well-greased, moving the story plot along seamlessly. The ending showed up pretty quickly, but it put a smile on my face, and the epilogue was sweet, their HEA exactly what the doctor ordered.
If you want a quick read that keeps you engaged, makes you smile, perhaps even the occasional tear slip down your cheek as people in love try to be selfless for one another to make that most important person in their life as happy as possible, regardless of whether they’re a part of that life or not, with some well-informed medical drama, this is the read for you!
