I wasn't able to download this one in time so I will not be able to review it but I have to rate it or my ratio will forever be inaccurate. Giving it a 4 for the creepy cover..

I am stunned at this book. I have no idea how the romanticism of kidnapping and physical abuse can turn into love in any book written in this day and age. The lack of conscent was so unforgivable; I did finish this book with the hope the abuser would get justice but was disappointed at the appalling message this gives.

Just to be clear, falling in love with an abuser is not a life goal, even during the zombie apocalypse. Shame on both the author and publishers for not taking the opportunity to craft a heroine.

Not my type of story. I stopped after ~50 pages when dude started spanking her.

I love a good zombie/post-apocalypse book, but I did not like this book. It seems like it starts in the middle and then she watches a man kill several people and thinks, "Oh, he's charming. I should totally sleep with him." I did not understand why in the world she would ever want to go with him on purpose because she thought he was so cute, and she could see a side of him that noone else could. I could understand if she had gone with him because he was powerful and could protect her, but that was not what this was. And he doesn't get more likeable the more the book goes on. He sleeps with women and then throws them aside when he's bored in a few weeks. But clearly, she's "different" from those others. The only way I could see liking this book is if you really got to know both main characters and could see what was making them behave that way. Otherwise, they are both unlikeable and irredeemable.

I really liked this read! The characters are great the story is fun, entertaining and steamy. The story is fast-paced with plenty of drama and suspense. A good read.

I read 90% of this book, but won't finish it because I just can't seem to get interested in the characters. An ok erotic book I guess, and I can appreciate the situation being that zombie / survivor type books are so popular now.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC of this fun little romp into zombie sexy times. The characters don't get a lot of development, particularly the hero, until the end where we learn of his back story. His attractions are apparently redeemed by his love for Daisy. That said, it was surprisingly fun- a little zombie blood and gore, but much more focused on the romance angle and the quite delicious relationship. I will definitely check out the sequel to see what happens next for Daisy and her man, now they've moved on. Bumping up a star for good writing and a moderate amount of zombies.

Quick, exciting, roughly hot, read. This is one of those books that you can clearly visualize, maybe due to zombie movies, and tv shows, which I normally don’t enjoy any longer. But this kept me reading, it wasn’t groundbreaking but I just wanted to binge on this. Can’t wait for the next book.

A big thank you to NetGalley, Fawkes Press and Sarah Bale Publishing for the ARC for my honest review. This is my first book I have read by Sarah Bale, and I must say that I enjoyed it. It was a fast paced, fun read. I found Sir to be a bit of a jerk-but in private he seemed better. Daisy is a strong character and I hope that her character is developed in future books if there are any. Not a lot of zombie one on one-but the hordes took over. Overall a good read-I say give it a try.

I didn't enjoy this book. I had to give up half way because I didn't enjoy the story line or the excessive usage of foul language.
