I adored this story and I've read it in one sitting.

With My Whole Heart was the first book written by MariaLisa deMora I've read and I'm almost sure it won't be the last because I've really liked her writing.

I've loved Jamie and Connor chemistry and their connection at the first sight, and their perseverance to build a wonderful relationship even if their time is completely wrong.
I've liked the heroine big heart and the Hero family bond.

Jaime was a single mom who was trying to raise her nine year old son by herself and was having a hard time making ends meet. She wanted to give Nate everything but it was getting harder and harder to make that happen. Nate was a super bright kid who was already doing high school work to keep him from being bored. She finally looked into the possibility of being a surrogate mother. She could help someone have a baby and be able to make some money for she and Nate to live on.

Connor's brother, Cooper, and his wife weren't able to have children at all without some intervention. Connor had been a sperm donor for their first child and now he was ready to do it again. This time was different, though, because the surrogate was also going to provide the egg for this pregnancy. Connor wasn't so sure that would be a good idea. What if she changed her mind and decided to keep the baby? Connor met Jamie by accident but the more he got to know her, the more he felt he could trust her. And the more he began to trust her, the more he thought she could be "The One" for him. But, was it possible for there to be a happy ending in this story?

I'm not into graphic sex scenes so I skipped over them in this book. The other thing that was not something I felt necessary was the constant dropping of f-bombs throughout the book. The story was good without that.

I was given an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

An easy, quick read that takes a complicated subject and manages to make it a light, simple circumstance. Enjoyed.

I chose this book based on the premise. It is definitely a story that I have never read before. Within a few pages I was engrossed. deMora is a new to me author and I loved the way she writes. My only issue with this book is how perfectly and conveniently tied up everything is in the end. It was more Hallmark movie than real life to me and left me very unsatisfied. I liked the writing enough to be willing to try another one of her books but I don't think this one will end up one I reread.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but got a whole lot more. A sweet and warm tale of the growing romance of Connor and Jaime. Jaime, a single mother of a 9 year old genius (Nate), is struggling to make ends meet and decides to become a surrogate. Connor, a high school coach, is the sperm donor for his brother and his wife, and so the story begins. The interaction and the story-line was one that kept me glued to the story, and made it hard to put down. Really enjoyed this one. First book for me by this author, but will not be my last. Highly recommend this book.

This is the first novel by this author that I have read, and I gather that her stories are usually much grittier. This didn't deter me and I found this one to be a nice, easy romance with an unusual storyline.
I very much enjoyed the writing style and found no glaring grammatical errors or continuity problems.
Overall, I would check out more by this author based on that, which always makes me happy. I love finding authors who can actually write!!

This story was close to my heart, as my own child was conceived through IVF. I was not sure how to rate it, almost a five star for me but not quite there.

Jaime is a young woman with a genius 9-year-old son, Nate. She is a single mom because her boyfriend died before their child was born and his parents wanted nothing to do with her or her child. Struggling to get by after losing her job she gives plasma in a clinic and someone there alerts her to the possibility of being a surrogate. Jaime is pleased by the idea of giving an infertile couple such a beautiful gift while she can give her own son what he needs, so she decides to apply. Marie and Cooper Thompson want to have a second child by surrogate and they immediately hit it off. Cooper's brother Connor is the sperm donor but Jaime's eggs will be used.

Everything seems to go as planned, but what happens when Jaime and Connor fall in love while she is carrying their child, meant for his brother and sister-in-law?

I read the story in just a couple of hours. I enjoyed it and was moved by it. The struggle of Jaime, Connor but also Marie and Cooper is real and I thought it was handled quite well. The reason I did not give it the full five stars was because I thought everything between Jaime and Connor was going really fast and I did not feel it completely. But the story is beautiful as a whole.

This was a solid fast read. The story is cute, the writing is decent, it left me with positive thoughts after I finished it. I thought the themes were handled very well, and I really liked the chemistry between the characters. A perfect read for fans of romance.
This was my first experience with a MariaLisa deMora book, and I'm definitely gonna pick up another one soon.

What abilities does her son have?

Talk about a Catch-22. She gets a job, she'll have money, but then she'll have to put her son in an afterschool program that punishes kids who stand up for others.

Ninth-grade science!

Mr. Paterson is a good man.

Geez, Connor, you don't like women?

Aw, poor kid. I can see how he might have thought his mom was sick.

I never thought about surrogates deciding to keep the baby for themselves.

Solon is a douchebag. What Connor did was really nice.

I really didn't need to know about Connor's self-touching habits.

Who knew getting your eggs taken out would make you nauseous? And she's not even pregnant yet.

Oooh, take that, Sleazy Solon!

I live in a wealthier community, but we still had free breakfasts available if a kid needed it. I can't imagine having to eat peanut butter every day because you don't have enough credit.

Wow, I feel sorry for Johnny, whoever he is. His dad's a sexist pig.

Popcorn is important, Nate. You got that right.

Huh. I guess the experience is the important part. Baby #2 would technically be theirs, but they wouldn't be as involved, except as aunt and uncle.

Nate doesn't have his father's last name?

I love how technical Nate, even about something as childishly fun as catching lightning bugs.

Her parents can't even make it to their only daughter's wedding? Morons.

This is Maria's first romance and I have to say I was amazed at how well if was written! I could not put down!! I love how it had a topic fit for Jody Picoult and romance fit for Nora Roberts! I love her MC series, but would love to read another romance written by her!!
