Brian Tracy is a Canadian-American motivational guru and the author of over eighty books on time management, personal development, self-discipline, and success.

His books never get old and "Million Dollar Habits" is no exception.

I have listened to many of Brian Tracy's audiobooks and the author's tips and strategies never fail to inspire me.

Although I have not yet grossed 1 million dollars from the author's tips and strategies, I always feel wiser and inspired after finishing his books.

I listened to the audiobook, read by the author.

Author Brian Tracy did a superb job with the narration.

Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

this book offers a nice amount of good and usable tips... sadly i found the writing in it very hard to get through and wish the author would have worked together with someone to make this book actually enjoyable to read instead of just informative., to make it a lot easier to read and recommend.

Everyone knows Brian Tracy, I don't think we question the value of what we can learn from him. I didn't realize when I requested this book that it was a new release of an already published title however I still found this extremely beneficial to read. I think it's one that everyone could learn from. I plan to listen to the audiobook in the future, I have found that I absorb different things when I listen while driving.

Review of Million Dollar Habits by Brian Tracy. Your life today is the sum total of your choices, decisions and actions up to this point. Yyou can create and change your future by changing your behavior. The book does not have to be read front to back. He has the chapters broken out into different habits; habit you need to succeed, have it to people who become millionaires, habits to get you promoted faster, habits of top business people, habits of marketing and sales success, etc. You can skip to the part that you would like to read the most or that are related more to your situation. Since I had not read all of his other books this was a good compilation of a lot of his thoughts.

At the moment I will only give a rating to the book and I hope it is possible for me to write down my reviews on Amazon. Barnes and Noble and Goodreads. I am very grateful to you because your publications are great, especially in the topics that interest me most. Thanks and blessings.

"Million Dollar Habits: Proven Power Practices to Double and Triple Your Income" by Brian Tracy is an interesting book that presents to you an overview of which habits the author thinks relevant for you to gain a positive mindset in order to achieve your goals and what you may otherwise want in life.
Just as when you were little and learned how to walk, this book teaches you step-by-step to believe in yourself and how to make things happen in your life. Some of the habits are decidedly more relevant than others and some are just sound advice, such as get enough rest, eat healthily, take your vitamins, groom yourself and such.
I have really enjoyed it and am learning to think and see things in a more positive way.

"Take control of your habit. Take control of your life."

It is one of the well written motivational books. I absolutely loved it. Out of all the motivational books, I have read has one thing in common - that is the power of attraction. It means you can attract what you think most of the time. As the famous saying goes, "You reap what you sow".

The book covers all the aspects our life and how we can change the bad habits and become a better person. In your personal life or in your professional life how you could develop certain habits which would make you a better person.

Overall, it is a nice book with lot of useful ideas and concepts which can be applied in day-to-day life

I'm a little embarrassed to say that this is the first book of Brian Tracy that I've read... When I've read John Maxwell, Richard Kiyosaki, Richard Templar and Napoleon Hill. Yes this book espouses similar maxims to follow but still an interesting read and always bears repeating, especially if you are trying to form these habits. This is a book to be read in increments and not in one sitting, the better to absorb it all. Hope I absorb it all.

I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion.

The first thing I want to address, that this new edition is not much different from last. There are many self-help/business books out there with same execution of the context. I like the length of the book, anyone willing to read this will attain the wisdom that it possess in less amount of time that it might seem.

A pleasant surprise. This book had a lot more going for it than I thought it would. Full of sound advice, it is not a get rich quick scheme book. It shows the value of effort and saving can lead to rewards. Well written.

When all the self-help and success-books came together and appear in one book: this one contains everything what you can ever read around.

There are many clever and useful books about how to be rich and successful and how to improve your personal and professional life. Brian Tracy summarized basically all of them in this book: he touched and collected everything what can be known about these topics. There’s a common point in the chapters: “habits”, but it’s only a guideline, a word, which can be used for anything…

The first chapter is about how to think about yourself, how to imagine your life in the future – the more clear is this image, the more chance you have to achieve it. After that Tracy repeats the esoteric “law of attraction” – you need to think about much what you want. The more you think about it, the more chance you have to get it…

The first third of the book is the best, because he gives really useful advices. There are seven points how to form a habit in your daily life (write it down, share it with others, not to make exceptions etc.). He gave advices how to set up and achieve goals, how to improve your skills, how to use your time – good thoughts all. There’s a chapter about finances as well, how to save money and finally how to become wealthier – clever and useful again. There’s nothing new around here, but Tracy summarizes many other sources, books and researches from these areas.

The middle of the book is for “business”: about your office behavior and work, how to get promoted faster, this is great again. But the next chapters are for entrepreneurs or sales guys only, and nothing about average people’s daily habits. How to satisfy your customers, how to overcome their expectations… it’s nothing about a worker on a regular payroll.

Notice that you need to think continually to too many things at a time: to like yourself, that you “can do” it, to think to your future yourself, to your customers, your improvements, and how to make more sales… And it’s not just thinking, but you have to do too many things as well: work more hours, be more with your family, learn every day, sport every day, meditate every day… How many hours he thinks we have in a day? There are repeated topics too: that you can achieve everything, just think about your future, set up daily goals, work hard, work long, prioritize – good points, but unnecessary to repeat them so many times.

But apart from the page-filler sales chapters, what you can connect to your daily life is useful, well-established and well-developed. You don’t need to read many self-helper success-books anymore, because this one summarized them all, so if you want to read only one, I suggest to select this one!

I received an e-copy of the updated version of Million Dollar Habits via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

3.5 stars
I've read and enjoyed other books by Brian Tracy, and this book is similar in nature--the focus is on the power of your thoughts and your ability to create the right habits that lead to success. This book is easy to follow and contains smart and concise action steps and ideas. I liked the section on comfort zones and how they can be an obstacle to improving ourselves. In order to uplevel, we need to first identify our limiting beliefs and improve them. He also recommends the use of affirmations and outlines the various laws (law of attraction, law of habit, law of concentration, etc.)

For readers who enjoy personal growth and empowerment books, they won't find anything new in this one. However, it's an easy read and might be a timely reminder of your untapped potential. The action exercises at the end of each chapter offer helpful journal questions that also prompt readers to act after reflecting. I also appreciated how he broke topics down into specific steps including areas like creating new habits, goal setting, steps onto the fast track, habits for business success, marketing success, and more. This book systematically helps you go through your personal and professional practices so you can clean up habits that aren't working and replace them with habits that will.

I wasn't impressed with the section on nutrition, which little to no references, as well as a few cringe-worthy tidbits. I agree with the suggestion to avoid processed foods but would prefer to see nutrition information given by nutrition experts. The food and supplement suggestions given by the author might work for him, but they aren't appropriate for everyone.

Brian Tracy has written many books that are life altering. This one has the potential to be one of those. Though he doesn't share any new ground breaking ideas in the book, he does present some known ideas in a way that could have a great impact..

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to anyone dedicated to personal development. No matter how much you think you know, this book will teach you something new. Such a fantastic book. An absolute delight to read. Because of this book, I now tell myself many times everyday, "I like myself". I also used to consider myself a personal finance genius and thought I knew quite a bit. And then Brian taught me a new concept - Put 50% of all future raises into a savings or investment account in addition to whatever I currently contribute. Mind Blown! That's just two nuggets, I'm sharing with you. I have another 20 written down in my journal. Thank you Brian Tracy for writing such a valuable resource.

This book has a great focus on 'habit', the habits that successful people use and what they are so that you can apply them to your own life. I really liked the use of quotations and famous figures in this book. Additionally, I loved how Tracy (the author) stated a habit and then backed this up with information from psychology, for example. However, references to the bible may not be for some. I felt that some of the points made were really interesting and something different to what I have heard or read before. Furthermore, there are questions for you to answer in relation to your own life which may help you actually implement some of the things that Tracy talks about. I was surprised by how much information was actually in this book, I appreciated that it did not ramble on about the same point but rather had just the right amount of writing and then introduced another. Overall, this was an interesting book and if you would like to read about different theories relating to success, you may want to read it.
