This is an inspirational book and is helpful with planning goals, getting clarity, and steps to pursue your dreams.

“Soar” is a helpful and practical book of advice from T.D. Jakes. He shares great nuggets of wisdom and practical advice throughout the book, using the analogy of flying an airplane. The ideas are presented in a way that is easy to grasp and is inspiring—in classic Jakes style. I did find that there was so much narrative to weed through to get to the nuggets that I felt frustrated with it at times. I wish his points were less buried in the stories. However, it was a helpful and practical book overall.

Im always looking for staples to add to my collection. I love how Jakes always takes us on a journey and shares biblical truths. This is a book that is great to read in a book club to gain perspective from others.

In my opinion, this book was an excellent reference for those who are seeking to make life-changing transitions. Because not only do we learn how to go from imagining the possibilities, but we also learn to initiate the steps to make our dreams a reality.

I have not read many T.D.. Jakes books,but the few I have read were very enlightning. This book was the same. We all put things off and never get around to doing them. This book gives insight on why we may procrastinate and gives us thoughts on how to break the cycle of this. I found the book to be very easy to read, and his advice stuck with me after the final page. I for one will be paying more attention to my "flight plan" and I have the author to thank for that. This book gives you a once in a lifetime experience - one on one time with TD Jakes as your mentor, business guru, and life coach!

Great book very impactful for me I learned so much amd what made this book different from other self help books are the spritual aspects that made all the difference for me I felt that reading this book in this appointed time was God ordained and other self help books can't bring that spiritual connection as this book can. I just admit sometimes the analogies were over done but it's not for everyone still five stars because I could hear TD Jake's voice throughout the whole book and another difference between this book and other's like it is I would re-read this book.
