This is absolute a winning novel. Sexy, romantic, fun... it's got all the makings of a great story. Tally and Cash have an incredible chemistry - I can't wait for more in this series.

This is book one in the Winning Ace series and definitely starts the series off on a winning note. The book is well written with strong, defined characters and a great storyline. This book features Cash who is a tennis star and gorgeous to boot and Tally who is an aspiring journalist. It's her big break with her story about Cash. Media shy and with secrets he wants to conceal he decides to confront her . the story. Lots of twists, surprises, betrayal and suspense make for a great story. The chemistry between them is amazing and be forewarned there is a cliffhanger. I received an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

I truly enjoyed book, I love books about sports and roman. We meet Cash Gallagher a sexy superstar, and Tally a journalist looking to get her story on him, no matter what it takes. This is a roller coaster, many twist and turns, but it keeps you interested.. And I can't wait for next book. l I'm always looking for new authors and was excited to read Winning Ace by Tracie Delaney, because I love sports and a good edgy romance..There was reason I could not give it a 4..

O-m-g! This book is great but I need to read book 2 RIGHT NOW!! This book is the story of Tally McKenie who is a reporter who is looking for a story to put her name on the map. She is hoping to get that story when she goes to a fundraiser for tennis great, Cash Gallaghers charity. Cash is a champion on the field but off the field he keeps everyone at arms length, especially reporters.

Cash opens up to Tally not realizing she is a reporter and she runs the story. Cash is seeing red and is going to confront her for deceiving him. Is the reason he can't get Tally out of his head because of his anger or is there something more? This is a great story of two flawed people who help bring out the best in each other.

I liked This story as well as the characters. I did feel like things progressed too quickly and I didn't feel particularly connect with any of the characters or the romance. I still enjoyed the story and the banter with the characters but I don't have the desire to continue this series.

Cash is a great tennis player and usually gets what he wants. Tally is a reporter who begs her editor to let her go to a function to try and get a scoop on Cash. She does get to meet him but only by hiding her press pass and when she does meet him sparks seem to fly but she can't resist printing something that Cash let slip. When he catches up with her the chemistry is electric and I was totally pulled into their story. The romance and erotic nature is not usually my genre but I loved this book and will definitely have to read the other parts in the trilogy. I really don't want to give away any spoilers so you will have to read and see if things go smooth or not. I will say though that Tracie's writing is amazing for getting you totally wrapped up and feeling so bereft when the book ends.
Thank you to NetGalley and Red Adept for my copy of the book.

She wasn't his type, and yet he wanted her regardless.

Cash Gallagher is rich, famous, and one of the hottest bachelors in the world. He slept around with women, treats them right and knew what they want until he has his fill and moves on to the next skinny blonde. Natalia "Tally" McKenzie walks into the picture with her brunette locks, curvy body, large rack and would always find a way to surprise cash in any turn. To his surprise Cash couldn't get enough of her. Tally on the other hand thought it possible for her to be in any form of intimacy with her long time celebrity crush. Knowing it wouldn't last because of Cash's reputation Tally still gave him her all. When things get serious Tally can't seem to shake the fact that Cash has a lot of dark secrets that he isn't planning to share soon.

But love? Was he even capable of feeling that deeply for someone?

Utterly fun and sweet. My celebrity crush asks me out, what do I say? HELL YES!

Their first date was where?! Cash just set the bar extremely high. It's such an adventure to roam the world with these two though they'd spend of the time in their room. ;) Tally's worries are very much understandable. Cash had it all, he could even have any woman he wants but why would he pick Tally who's entirely not his type? Plus the secrets. How can you trust someone when they just won't tell you what you want to know. Cash's secrets are such a mystery, his close friends don't even know about his secrets.

Her laugh made him laugh. her smile brightened the darkest of days. Her selflessness humbled him. She was the half that made him whole.

The fact that they can't seem to just tell each other how they feel. And the fact that they can read each other well in the short time they've known each other. They can feel it deep in their bones that they're meant for each other but just can't seem to say the three words eight letters bit.

"None of us start out with an idea of how long things will last. All we can do is live in the moment."

I never knew what goes behind the scenes of people who live for sports especially during tournaments and matches that happen in different parts of the world. They're barely home. I love these kinds of books where it gives me a glimpse of the life of other people with a specific and not entirely common lifestyle.

"Life's short. None of us know what's coming our way. That's why I live for today. Screw tomorrow."

I gave this book 3 stars because it was quite long, but I understand that to set the backdrop of everything and to understand everything that's happening, the backstories and characteristics of many people. What I don't like is Tally's over jealous sometimes, it seem unnecessary and redundant. But overall I truly enjoyed the story.

I am so ready to begin Losing Game when I publish this review.

Winning Ace just oozes sexual tension and chemistry. Cash is so hot, but so tortured, you just know he's got big secrets hiding behind those beautiful eyes. When he meets Tally, a journalist, he falls head over heels in...lust. And it confuses him because she's not his usual type - you know, thin, coltish athletic women with no curves and just muscle. Tally's soft and all curves. "She wasn't even his type. T*** too big, waist not narrow enough, and she had hips, for Christ's sake. He liked his women athletic. And blond." Against all the odds, though, she makes him feel something, and he's determined to have her. But then he reads an article she wrote about him and it gets his blood pumping, and not in the good way.

Then the chase is on and Cash and Tally do the dance as old as time, he dishes out his brand of charm, it doesn't work, actually it only makes her dislike him even more, her rejection challenges him and turns him on even further, and lo and behold, his inner sweetness finally comes out to play and Tally finally sees the real him. But when Cash betrays Tally, will she ever be able to forgive him? Is everything as it seems? What secrets is Cash hiding, and how will they affect their future?

I absolutely love Winning Ace. It's got depth and layers, it's sexy and Cash and Tally not only have chemistry for days, they're both interesting, lovable characters, both individually and as a couple. Can't wait to read the next installment of their story!

Not sure I bought the quick chemistry at first and not because of Tally's curvy figure but more because she was very innocent compared to the world ranking tennis star, Cash Gallagher, whom Tally meets at a benefit gala she is sent to cover as a journalist.
They do seem to hit it off and he manages to talk her boss into letting Tally take off two weeks of work to follow his tennis tournament in Holland.

The story has plenty of sexy times and with conflict coming from his manager, who obsesses over him.

The book ends with one of Cash's secrets exposed and Tally running off.

It's a nice story written in UK English which I adore. You'll dream a little after this read.

Winning Ace took me by surprise. Cash is a winning tennis star who gets everything he wants. He works hard, plays harder, and hates journalists. Tally is a journalist who is trying to start her career. However she's had a crush and has followed Cash's career since the beginning. Getting a chance to meet him and cover his foundation is an opportunity she can't resist.

Revenge is sweet...right? Cash never knew the woman who grabbed his attention would was a journalist. now he's going to make her pay for running the story of the few personal details he let slip. What starts as revenge is going to change both of them more than they realize.

This books ends on a cliff hanger and seriously makes you want to rush out and buy the second one.

I am torn between opinions when writing this review. I initially found it difficult to get into the style of writing but as the story progressed I became much more involved and invested in the characters - I did want to shake them both and tell them to grow up as one or other flounced off the page.
However, as I reached the end of the book and I realised that the story wasn't finished I did want to read on and find out what happens next for the characters.

Winning Ace: An emotional train ride through the tennis world. This writer has such a great mastery of designing characters that capture your attention and melt your heart. A definite must read for all romance fans.

I loved Cash and Tally's story, he had a very busy high profile lifestyle and Tally helped calm his crazy life and keep him grounded. Tally is only just beginning to advance her career and her confidence is still growing, but she has plenty of strength of will and is not afraid to stand up for herself. The chemistry between them when they meet is out of this world and their encounters are steamy hot. They make a wonderful team together! I've got to read Book 2 now, Losing Game.

'Winning Ace' by Tracie Delaney is the First book in the New Trilogy called "Winning Ace". This is the story of Natalia 'Tally' McKenzie and Cash Gallagher. This does end with a cliffhanger to set you up for the next book and the next installment in Cash and Tally's story.
Cash is a famous Tennis Star and a very private person. Cash only talks to the press when he has to for his "job' and is very guarded. Cash is also a hot Irish talking, alpha male with some dark secrets...who doesn't really do commitments. When at a Charity Dinner for his foundation he see Tally...who isn't his usually type at all. But something about her draws him in.
Tally is a journalist who is trying to get a breaking story to build her career. When she gets offered the chance to go to the Charity Dinner that Cash is giving she jumps at it. One because she knows since he is so private if she can get a news worthy story she can make a name for herself. The second reason is that she has always had a crush on Cash and has followed his career. Tally is let into the dinner as a press/journalist. But she takes off her press pass because she knows Cash would be guarded around her. Although she knows she wont get to speak to him one on one she thought she would at least over hear something. But to her shock he comes over to her before dinner and also dances with her. While dancing he does as her point blank if she is a journalist and she lies.
Cash is finding Tally very attractive and feels a closeness to her that lets his guard down where he slip and says a few things he normally wouldn't to a stranger. Cash realizes that he needs to distant himself from her. But he can't seem to get her out of his mind.
Tally feels somewhat guilty about her story but goes through with it the next day.

This I believe is Ms. Delaney first book but it was written so well and the story was really good. I not usually a Sport Romance Book person but this one was hard to put down. I can't wait for more from Ms. Delaney!

Winning Ace Trilogy:

The blurb:

Do opposites attract? Or are the differences too great?
When the opportunity arises for journalist Tally McKenzie to meet tennis ace Cash Gallagher, she grabs it without hesitation. Desperate for a killer story to advance her career, she’ll have to betray her idol and her own morals into the bargain if she is to succeed.

Renowned bad boy Cash wants one thing; to remain at the top of his game. He’s fought hard to get there, and he’s not about to lose his crown, especially over a woman.

When Cash divulges personal information, Tally seizes her chance and writes an explosive article. Incensed, Cash sets out to get his revenge. Except the darling of centre court gets more than he bargained for—a passionate affair with a woman he should detest.

But Cash is a man with secrets—secrets that could destroy his career. Dare he take the risk? Or is the cost too great, even for his perfect match.

Loved this book. Plenty of smiles, some heart ache and a bit of a cliffhanger to finish. Can’t wait to read the next in the series 5*
