This delightful novella is 6th book in the Crescent Moon series. I received it as an ARC from NetGalley and I have to confess, I haven't read the series yet...but I love all of Katie Reus' stories so I knew I'd love this one too. It wasn't hard to come into the 6th book at all.

I adore second-chance stories! Andrew Reid is his pack's second in command. He's admitting he screwed up and let the love of his life go. He was afraid he'd be trapped. Given time and distance he realized he was just plain stupid. I love when an alpha admits he's been stupid, lol. When he gets an opportunity to be temporarily traded to Charlie/Charlotte's pack he jumps at the chance. Then he begins his apology and seduction. Trouble of course knocks and they have to protect the pack together. Charlie realizes Andrew is true and worth a second chance.

Thanks for the opportunity to review this Katie/Savannah! It was a delight and I'll have to pick up the rest and get caught up!

I really enjoyed going back to the Crescent Moon series and Falling For His Mate is no exception. I loved Charlotte (Charlie) and Andrew and the interaction between all the characters made this a great short read. I look forward to reading more.

Sometimes a guy will mess a good thing up, royally. Was it intentional or simply a mistake that once realized was quickly made right… or at least tried to make right? Good questions. Ones that Andrew needs to provide to himself and his mate. That is if his mate will ever speak to him again, and right now that’s not looking too promising.

Falling For His Mate may be a quick read but it packs a powerful emotional punch. Andrew did the worst thing, he let his mate down to the point where she’s convinced that he really could not be her mate – a true mate would never have acted like this, never. Now that he’s come to his senses, late but still he knows he’s done wrong, he’s determined to prove that he is worthy of her trust. That’s going to be an uphill battle. We see glimpses of what they were as a couple in love enough times to get a feel for what Andrew let slip through his hands, and how devastated Charlie was when he didn’t keep his promises.

Their romance will keep your interest with a few twists and turns along the way. Andrew really is a great guy who totally screwed up and he knows it. Charlie is a woman in love who is afraid to give her trust to a man who has already broken promises. Both stubborn, both hurting and both still in love… somehow they need to find their way back to each other again. It’s not going to be easy, but nothing worthwhile rarely is.

If you haven’t yet discovered the Crescent Moon series, this this might be a great, short introduction to it. I’ve a feeling you’ll want to go back to the beginning and enjoy this series from the start. I’d definitely recommend Falling For His Mate. Likable characters, a true issue to be dealt with and strong emotions all around. Yeah, this one is well worth a read for anyone who enjoys Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance. … or is simply in the mood for a terrific grovelling novel, we all need one of those now and then… *wickedly innocent grin*

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

I fill like I may have missed some of the back story for this couple and while that normally isn't a problem for me with this author, this time it was. That's on me. So, I would suggest reading the others in this series first and then reading this story so you get the most out of it.

With a lot of ground to make up for and rogue vampires to worry about Andrew has his work cut out for him winning back Charlie.

Charlie still hasn't gotten over the hurt and anguish from Andrew's betrayal. That last thing she needs is him showing up in their territory.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The title and synopsis says it all, folks. In this 142 page wolf shifter themed romance, this stand-alone but part of a linked series gives you a remorseful, alpha possessive, groveling hero named Andrew, who is willing to give up everything, to win back the girl he previously, foolishly pushed away. Charlotte tries to cut him out of her life and heart, but a wolf wants what a wolf wants. After a brief stand-off, where she doesn’t make it easy for him, and a dramatic showdown with some rogue supernatural villains, these two finally get their HEA.

As someone who just dabbles in this genre, I must say I’m not used to the overly wolf pack dialog/references. There is a lot of mention on how things smell (ie., emotions, each other, etc.) and how things are handled by this paranormal species. If you are an avid wolf shifter enthusiast, you likely will feel right at home. For me, it took some getting used to.

Please note this is a short novella. I breezed right through it. You’ll basically get what the book summary promises. I mostly enjoyed it because I’m a pushover for any hero who regrets letting his girl go then decides to do whatever it takes to win her back.

Title: Falling for His Mate, Series: Crescent Moon (Book 6), Author: Katie Reus/Savannah Stuart, Pages: 142, stand-alone but part of a series, remorseful/groveling, good guy alpha wolf shifter hero, short but sweet, only a few very steamy scenes, some graphic violence involving a fight with paranormal creatures, no cheating, no love triangle, no OW/OM drama.

I love KatieReus/Savannah Stuart writing. Falling for his Mate is part of the Cresent Moon series. It can be read as a stand alone but it does reference past players. It is a short but so sweet story of Charlie and Andrew. Andrew has some making up to do to Charlie leaving her so suddenly. Not a lot of drama, just a sweet second chance romance between these to wolfs. Recommend if you like these kinds of story.

The only thing that could possibly be better than a romantic suspense book by Katie Reus is a paranormal romance by her. Falling For His Mate is part of the Crescent Moon Series (Book 6) which was is novella in length but amazing all the way. As usual there are females who are as strong as the males mentally if not physically. Charlie is one of those to be admire for expecting the respect and courteous that any person or shifter deserves; not submissive female here, thank goodness. Andrew is also to be admire since he can admit, hard thing to do for many, when he is wrong. I like how he was not opposed to making amends to the situation between them.

I especially enjoyed the dual perspectives, along with the past and present given within the story. The fast-paced story still flowed smoothly even with the switching back and forth, which is a credit to the wonderful style of writing that Ms. Reus possesses. Might have seemed like a quick read but a very satisfying one.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher through Net Galley.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I have always loved second chance romances, and really love them when the woman is strong and determined not to let the man back into her life! It really annoys me when the woman caves in too early and doesn't make the man sweat it out longer!

This book had the right mix, as Andrew realized his mistake and wanted to show Charlie that he was sorry, and willing to make meet any of her demands so that they could have their second chance. The story also made sense that Charlie gave in to her love for Andrew after a threat to their lives, it made her decision more believable.

I loved that Charlie cared enough about Andrew that she was not willing for him to lose his position as second in his pack and made the choice to leave her pack. Andrew's initial response to run because of how his step-mother treated his father was kind of lame and it was great that Charlie called him on that response by asking him if she had ever done anything similar to the step-mother and Andrew had to acknowledge that she had not.

Loved the HEA as they are at Andrew's pack and Alyssa is having her baby, Charlie has her new location chosen, and Andrew is back as second taking on more responsibility in the pack.

This is the first book that I have read in this series and now I want to read the other books and learn more about the different characters that are mentioned, Reese and Alyssa's story sounds pretty intriguing!

This was a very quick read, I expected Andrew to have to put up a bit more of a fight to get his mate back and I expected a bit more resistance from her. When they did get back together was a bit anti climatic cause it felt like she just dropped into his lap.

Falling For His Mate is book six in the Crescent Moon series by Savannah Stuart/ Katie Reus.
Andrew made a colossal mistake by letting his mate Charlie go, and he will stop at nothing to convince her to give him a second chance. I loved reading this fast-paced shifter novella and finished it in one sitting. Though Andrew messed up big time he was still a likable character, and I rooted for his and Charlie’s happily ever after.
Wish it would have been longer! Can’t wait to read the next installment 😊

Second Chance Shifter Romance
She-wolf Charlie wasn’t expecting to see Andrew on her home turf. Not after he basically ghosted on her six weeks ago. His sudden rejection of her and what she thought was a meaningful connection, cuts deep and no way is she letting him get close to her again.

Andrew grew up watching his alpha father submit to his stepmother. The unbalance of their relationship made Andrew swear off that kind of mindless devotion/servitude. When he meets Charlie, the instant attraction is surprising but the mind numbing need to drop everything to be there for her is enough to freak him out.

Thinking to distance himself, if only to prove he still has his own will power, backfires when Andrew realizes that he is letting his own messed up assumptions color Charlie in a negative light.

But disappearing on her for six weeks isn’t something Charlie will easily forgive. Andrew will have to pull out all the stops to prove to Charlie he is done running from this. From them. He knows it and she knows it, they’re meant to be and he is finally ready to prove he is a worthy mate for her.

Oh, the single-mindedness of shifters!
When they admit their true feelings, there is no going back. It’s a one way ticket to HEA and it’s forever! Lol :)

I loved that Andrew manned up and worked to right his wrong.

I loved that Charlie did in fact make him work for her forgiveness. She held out and I loved that it wasn’t vindictive or mean spirited. She still loved Andrew but she had enough self-preservation to want evidence that Andrew wasn’t just telling her want she wanted to hear. I like that she was assertive in her wants and not a push over when it came to dealing with him.

I read the first in the series and was left with an okay impression. This one is an improvement and has re-piqued my interest in the series!

"Falling For His Mate" by Katie Reus, Savannah Stuart is Book Six in the "Crescent Moon" series. This is the story of Charlotte "Charlie" and Andrew. I have not yet read the other book sin this series so for me this was a standalone book. Also this book is a Novella with about 80 pages.
This was a second chance at love with Andrew looking to correct his awful mistake with Charlie. The author does let us see what happened between these two which started Andrews drive to get Charlie back.
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

A good shifter story. Enjoyed it, it's a good addition to the series.

This is an awesome taste of all the wonderfulness that is Savannah Stuart/Katie Reus. I absolutely loved the possessive, protective alpha Andrew as he attempts to win back the woman he loves. Charlie was hurt when he never showed up to an event that meant the world to her. He had promised and not only did he not make an appearance, he never contacted her to explain why. As far as she’s concerned he is totally history and doesn’t have a chance at reconciliation. Even if her wolf disagrees with her.

This is a novella that has all the goodness of a full book. With a storyline that engages, secondary characters that don’t dominate, and all the feels of a couple of to-be-mated wolves, this story checks all my boxes for a perfect read.

FALLING FOR HIS MATE is a fast read with a stubborn alpha wolf trying to win back the she-wolf of his dreams after messing up royally.

I really enjoyed reading about Andrew and Charlie. Yes, Andrew made a HUGE mistake, but his wholehearted attempts at wooing Charlie back really endeared me to him. Charlie is a strong, smart woman that won't roll over easily for any male that treats her badly. Even though she's tough, her beautifully kind heart (and her wolf) couldn't completely let go of Andrew. I loved how the story concluded, I just wish it hadn't been so short! I'm looking forward to seeing more of them in future books.

This was a good paranormal read about shifters. Andrew's doubt has messed up his relationship with the lovely Charlie and he wants nothing more than to have her back in his life as his mate. I love that the books in this series are standalones so you don't feel lost if you miss a book. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters but I wished there was a little more action within the story. However, it was a great short read and I look forward to reading more books in this series and from this author.

Andrew is one sexy wolf, “and I can think of a few ways I wouldn’t mind you taking control.” He dropped his voice a few octaves, making his already deep voice even more delicious." This was a quick read and I loved it.

If you're looking for a great grovel book, this is perfect!

This book starts off with Andrew volunteering to go to Charlie's pack so he can mend what he broke. Since this starts out with our main characters in the outs, we do get a few flash backs to what they were like when they first meet. This helps to give you a feel for what they had.

I thought the author did a great job of showing the pull between these two and even though Andrew screwed up, he didn't do anything that would make you hate him. His offense is one that I can see forgiving very easily if he made the right amends and I'm happy to say he did.

This was a short, light angst story with a possessive wolf shifter that was sweet in his pursuit of his mate. No cheating, abuse or other woman/men drama. ARC provided by NetGalley.
