This was one of the first books I read by Renee Rose and Lee Savino. I have read books by each author individual and they have always left me wanting more. I really enjoyed their writing styles coming together in Alpha's Temptation.

This book was so good I could not put it down. When Jackson gets stuck in an elevator with Kylie he and his wolf fall for her. Only she is human and he has to stay away, but neither his wolf nor he like that idea. It only gets better.

Trying to get through all my NetGalley books by the end of the year but it's not going to happen. Even I can't read that much in such a short amount of time. Moving on, I loved this one! It was perfect until about 3/4 the way through and then.... something stupid happens that is making me dock a star from it. I just thought it was so out of character for Jackson King and it kinda made no sense at all but to further the plot. That's all it felt like it was there for... to move the characters from A to B. That being said, the first 3/4 of the book is just what I love in a paranormal romance book. Sexual tension, witty banter, and a sexy werewolf. I loved all of that and even though that part felt weird I would still say if this sounds like your kind of book, grab it. You'll enjoy it!

Will go live on my blog: 11/11/2018

A former hacker wants to go legit with a corporate job, and ends up trapped in an elevator with the big boss, though she doesn’t know that at the time. Turns out he knows exactly who she is, though at that point he’s not aware she’s the only person ever to beat him in cyberspace.
He’s a usual rich asshole, as well as a werewolf, the loner type. But of course he wants her, and despite all her previous feelings about men she gives in rather easily. This is one of those rare stories where I didn’t feel all that great about the heroine; I should have liked her, especially her wicked/nice personality, but she didn’t work for me. I hardly ever like the guys, and there’s no exception here.

This is the first book by these authors I have read but I promise it will not be the last. This book has everything I love in it. Suspense, Paranormal, hot alphas! This book will keep you turning the pages and you will not want to put it down. This book grabbed me from chapter one and I was so into Garrett and Jackson! I don't want to give any spoilers but DANG!!! You really need to read this book!

Really enjoyed this book, read it in one go! The twist towards the end was a tad obvious but even seeing it coming didn't spoil the enjoyment of the book :) Definitely, will recommend this book!

Alpha’s Temptation is a breathlessly stunning, edge-of-your-seat masterpiece that had me dying for so much more from this duo and their incredible new world. I truly could not get enough once I started reading. I flew through this book in record time because I could not stop reading for anything. It was wonderfully addictive, blissfully all consuming, and immensely brilliant! Not much can wrap up my heart and mind so completely as an exquisite paranormal romance like this one. I am so amazingly grateful for the chance to bask in its sizzling aura and savor every precious moment that I encountered.

Jackson resigned himself to a solitary life void of emotion and connections. So when he finds himself immersed on both, he is left reeling and completely at a loss. Not liking any control taken away, he forges a path that places him face-to-face with the most unlikely of mates. His wolf is ready to give him a time out when he puts the brakes in its desires to mark his chosen mate. Not only is he fighting an internal battle of epic proportions, he is left with the pieces of his once stoic and impenetrable company. While left in the dark while fate gleefully laughs as this life transforming change is rained down on him, Jackson takes it like he does everything else in life – with him taking all control.

Being given such indulgently rich characters within an utterly fantastic new world, left me off-balance and nearly squealing with unrepressed happiness. This is my ultimate gift to myself. Nothing is better than a world where truly anything goes, and my imagination can indulge until its sweet tooth until there is nothing left but pure joy and satisfaction. Kylie and Jackson gave me in that so many times over. They challenged and fought me every step of the way, and I loved that back and forth more than anything. Romance can be just as challenging as any other genre and this story proves it in spades.

I loved Lee Savino’s Bezerkers’s series, so I knew I would find a winner with this new book, and oh how I was right. Savino and Rose have lit up my heart with this brilliant gem that has rocked me to the very core and left me on such a wonderful high. They are a stunning team that have created this marvelous work of art! I honestly can’t wait to read more from this awe-inspiring series!!

I liked the journey both main characters went on and the evolution of their characters in dealing with their past.

I felt it was a bit slow in parts, but overall was a great Paranormal Read and especially good for this time of year.

This book was sizzling and sexy with lots of alpha goodness thrown in. If you’re interested in some hot paranormal action, this is definitely the book for you.

Kylie is a reformed hacker who has been recruited for her dream job – working for a billionaire genius coder. Through an unfortunate series of events, she ends up trapped in an elevator, talking rather candidly about the owner to… none other than the owner. Despite her sarcasm and wit (or maybe because of it), she finds herself getting offered the job. This job ends up being worse for her health than hacking ever was. She’s bounced between a hot and cold relationship with the boss, a blackmailer who threatens her grandmother, and some pretty creepy coworkers. I give her an A+ for holding it all together as long as she does.

Jackson, the aforementioned owner of the company, is immediately smitten with Kylie, and his inner wolf is, too. Sure, he’s supposed to stay away from humans and is also determined to remain a pack of two. Kylie, however, seems to be his new obsession. No matter how many things indicate he should just stay away, he keeps getting drawn back to her side. These two have some serious sizzle that lights up the pages. We not only get a HEA, but we also get some good romance along the way. I was sad to see this one end.

This was a book full of firsts for me, First published Werewolf book, First Romance Novel, so I had no idea what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm glad I found authors as good as Renee Rose and Lee Savino to introduce me to this new genre.

Compared to my usual books, Alpha's Temptation started quickly, getting right into the action of the novel. It was a nice change from the slower pace I am used to. I like the geek factor of both Kylie and Jackson King. It was a nice to see the main characters being smart, and geeky, yet sensual all at the same time. Kylie's little sayings like "Holy awkward, Batman" endeared me to her. She is quirky, strong, and a new twist to the typical Femme Fatale. I love how the authors show all of Kylie's dirty and sexy thoughts, allowing us to see that woman are just as sexual minded as men. Although the graphic nature of the sex scenes was also a first for me, I quite enjoyed them, and have decided I have a new favourite genre.
The book was action packed and I loved every minute of it. It was the perfect length, and allowed for several points of view as the plot developed.
I have read many unpublished Werewolf books, Thus I was slightly disappointed in the lack of Jackson's Werewolfness. Although, I have seen many twists to the typical Werewolf tale, so I do understand Rose and Savino's version of their Lone Wolf.

I must say that I am excited for the second book in the Bad Boy Alpha series, Alpha's Danger, to come out as I was extremely intrigued by our young Alpha Garrett.

This book was well written, with an interesting story line. I loved the characters!
I am looking forward to reading book 2!

I really enjoyed this book.
Jackson King is a wolf, ostracised from his pack, he lives as a lone wolf on the edge of a large male pack. When he meets Kylie, she is scared and brings out his inner wolf. He wants to protect her, he wants to be with her. However, he know the dangers. To mate with her would mean her certain death but if he doesn't mate soon and gives in to the moon madness, he's given the pack permission to end his life.

I always enjoy reading books by Renee Rose, having previously read the Zandian Masters books and this collaboration with Lee Savino was just as good.

This book was thrilling, hard to put down and had a great twist in it.

So much to say, so few characters! I fell into the story immediately. I found the characters relatable, charming and incredibly tempting. For months, I’ve been looking for a new shifter series that wasn’t the same, over told story. And finally! Finally, I stumbled onto ’Alpha’s Temptation,’ and it set my world on fire.
I found myself squirming in my seat, smiling ear to ear and blushing from page 3, praying no-one bothered my concentration.
Watching (in my mind) the smoldering, hot Alpha CEO getting stuck in the dark with a sassy, exuberant geek, who is slightly obsessed with superheros, have such chemistry even in pitch black, awkward circumstances, is absolutely hilarious and all shades of awed pink. They’re witty banter, the way they circle each other and the connection they have is thrilling. I must have held my breath for pages!
And even though outside forces brought them together with a hidden, shady agenda, Jackson and Catgirl manage to keep the reader (Me!) completely engaged, entertained and embarrassingly, flustered.
I’d probably take my punishment from Jackson with a grin too though.
Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect. It’s my first book by Renee Roe and Lee Savino after all. But I’m glad I picked it up. The way they tell the story is charming and seductive. It's long enough and the ending does justice to the characters and the story.
I need more!
I can’t wait to see Garret and Ambers story next!

This was a new read for me from this author but I did enjoy it. The only reason I have it as 4 vs. 5 was just little things that personally irritated me but that's just more about me than the actual book itself.

The two main characters were a good match. Jackson, or JT, was an arrogant man just needing to be taught a lesson on humanity. Whereas Kylie, or KK, was still a woman growing into her own. Both characters were incredibly smart and as usual the man was lagging behind not wanting to step up and admit feelings- go figure. The attraction was strong between the two, but it wasn't a very big obvious thing in my opinion- I personally could have used a little more, as it was the scenes were too in depth or long as I would have liked between the 2. It seemed that while JT was the older of the two, that KK was more mature and grown with her actions and decisions, which I enjoyed in a lead, but it was frustrating with the resistance from JT. Some parts just based off how JT was presented were rather predictable in the story line which I wish would have had me guessing a little more. The only other thing that bothered me was "Mr. X" which I personally couldn't get over due to the BDB having a similar character/description.

I will for sure keep reading this author though to see how other works compare as aside from the couple of issues I wish were different (i.e. more romance/love scenes, less predictable) it was a very well written book that I enjoyed and kept my attention straight on this read.

Since I'm already a fan of Renee Rose's alien stories and I also like shapeshifter stories, like the ones from Paige Tyler or Terry Spear, what better to read than a shapeshifter story from Renee?

And yup, it was great! Unlike the alien stories, like Her Alien Masters, which were basically panty-melting-with-hot-and-steamy-purple-alien-guys-stories, this story is a lot more funny. Kylie is not your everyday kind of girl. Growing up as a daughter of two old fashioned Robin Hood parents (stealing very valuable stuff from rich people to help the poor) and becoming a nerdy hacker, who once tried (and succeed) to hack the most famous cyber security company SeCure as CatGirl.

And Jackson King is not your everyday CEO of SeCure, because he is not only very rich and - well the CEO - , but also he is a wolf shapeshifter without a pack.

Kylie and Jackson meet in the elevator of SeCure, where Kylie is on her way for a job interview at SeCure. Obviously they don't know her CatGirl past, or they wouldn't have asked her for a job her, now would they? When they get stuck in the elevator, Kylie has a panic attack (an remainder of seeing her father being murdered during a robbery) and Jackson helps her through it. What she doesn't know is that he is the CEO, which leads to some hilarious banter and witty remarks from Kylie about Jackson. And what he doesn't know is that she is CatGirl, the one person who broke through his security system and chatted with him all those years ago.

Instant attraction hits them hard. And while Jackson tries to stay away, he keeps feeling the constant pull. Knowing he can't mark a human, he doesn't want to get involved with her. But then Kylie's grandmother is kidnapped and the kidnappers force Kylie to infect the security systems of SeCure. She turns to Jackson for help. And now, together, they must find a way to fight the unknown attacker, and keep their attraction at bay.

Will they succeed? Find out in this funny, hot and steamy, shapeshifter romance. Four out of five stars from me. With a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Kylie was sitting in the lobby of Secure.s International headquarters waiting to interview for a job in infosys -Information Systems Security. Nine years ago Kylie had hacked the computers here. Now she is here to try to get a job and felt this was an interview of a lifetime. Kylie has an obsession with the founder/owner Jackson King. Kylie was very attracted to Jackson. Nine years ago Kylie had hacked through all the security and managed to Get to Jackson’s computer but she hadn’t stolen anything Kylie had just wanted to see if she could get to Jackson’s computer. Kylie had hidden from social interaction for the last eight years. Kylie was in an elevator to go to the interview but there is also a man in there with her when the elevator when it stops. Kylie has a panic attack as she is very claustrophobic and it is also dark in the stopped elevator. Then Kylie sways on her feet and her heal twists and ad she grabs the rail to stop herself from falling. Then the man asks Kylie if she was breaking down with disdain in his tone and Kylie said yes. Then the man pushed Kylie against the wall and presses her sternum and said he was triggering her calm reflex. As she is in the man’s arms and for some reason Kylie gets turned on.Then he helps Kylie to sit down Even with his caveman style he was taking care of Kylie. Jackson never jokes especially at work but this woman puts his body on alert in a very pleasurable way. It’s a little easier now that Jackson isn’t touching the woman. Jackson is a werewolf and his wolf’s went haywire the minute Kylie got into the elevator. Then Jackson smelled that Kylie was aroused and for the first time in Jackson’s life he wanted to mark her as forever his. But she was human and could not be his mate. He said his name was J T when Kylie asked Jackson didn’t do friendly he even discouraged his employees from engaging with him except to give him information in its most distilled form. Jackson had to convince his wolf not to jump Kylie. Jackson smiled at Kylie which was a rare occurrence. Kylie had already made Jackson laugh something he hadn’t done in twenty years. Kylie told Jackson she had always worked worked as a telecommuter and she had never been in a office like the one they were in. Kylie said that she thought security was the pinnacle at Infosec. She also said that Jackson was a genius and she had been following him since she was ten years old. She also said programming was lonely but she does her best working alone. Jackson had been abandoned by his birth pack with his fur covered with his stepfather’s blood. A company of his own was a poor substitute for a pack. `Kylie also said Jackson King and the company he built represented the ultimate infosec coding and Kylie wanted to be a part of that. Then the lights came back on and Kylie realized who had been in the elevator and it was Jackson King. Then Jackson decides to sit in on Kylie’s interview. Kylie felt like she could get through the interview as Kylie had handled much more difficult things before. Kylie had major hurts at the age of eight losing her mom in a car accident and then Kylie spent her childhood taking care of her dad and became his partner in his jobs. Her dad became a vigilante Thieves For Justice thing going on. Then her dad had been murdered and her grandmother moved in and took care of Kylie. Her grandmother pushed Kylie to get a degree in college. Her father’s murderer was still looking for her and Kylie hid in bare sight. Stu didn’t expect Kylie to be so hot. Stu thought Kylie would be socially awkward like he was. So framing her for the security’s demise won’t hurt as much. In Stu’s mind Kylie had had always been his cyber girlfriend of sorts. They had been accomplishes in the hacker world since puberty. They cut their teeth together as young hackers sharing information and their successes passing along tips, advising others. It was dumb luck Stu had found his Catgirl after she had disappeared for eight years. But Kylie had resurrected on Def Con the old hacker forum they had always interacted on. Kylie was looking for help with cracking the FBI. Stu helped. Kylie was perfect for Stu’s needs. There were very few who could but Kylie could. It had been difficult to find Kylie after he helped her but he finally found her I P address and then sent a headhunter after her for a job at Secure. Kylie barely had a social life even now , she was used to being a loner and keeping her secrets. Kylie had never been touched by a man until Jackson.
I loved this book as well as the plot and pace. I also loved Kylie and Jackson together. I loved that a teenage girl hacked Jackson;s computer. I loved that Kylie is shown to be very intelligent and gets a good position in Jackson’s company. I loved that Jackson was Kylie’s first love and lover. I loved how Jackson fought his wolf as he felt he would hurt or even kill her if he marked Kylie or even was too rough with her. . I especially loved how Kylie forgave Jackson for doubting her and took a bullet for him. It was also great that Kylie turned out to be a shifter. I couldn’t find anything to complain about which was great. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I highly recommend

'Alpha's Temptation' by Renee Rose is Book One in the Series "Bad Boy Alphas". This is the story of Jackson King and Kylie.
Kylie has a lot of things she been dealing with and things she has went through.
Kylie had was a computer hacker at an early age and even hacked into Jackson King's company before. Now she is trying to go strait and get a real job with the company. But Kylie has learned never to trust anyone at an early age and pretty much been on her own.
Jackson is a wolf shiftier and loner. But when he is waiting in an elevator and Kylie walks in...its all his wolf can do not to claim her. Jackson feels that her being human means she not for him....he would never want to hurt her. But he can't ignore the feelings he has for her.
Kylie finds she too is attracted to Jackson but she too is used to not trusting anyone...can she trust Jackson when she needs someone the most?
I have read some other books by Ms. Rose and I always find the to be a hot, exciting read. Hope to read more of her books soon.
