A great improvement on the first installment - could still do with a bit of editing or proof reading, but this wasn't as noticeable in this book. The story in this one pulled me in more than the first and I found myself more interested in the characters. I am very much looking forward to the conclusion of the trilogy.

This story is the second book in a trilogy. It is very well written and I like the twists and turns in it.
It is in theme of fantasy but that only adds a bit of an edge to the story. I am normally not into this kind of stories but this one caught my interest and held me captivated to the last page. There is lots of chemistry between the main characters and the hot scenes are so well described.
I like it a lot when you get an update on the characters from the previous books and you do in this one.
I can only recommend this book but you have to read the first to get all the story. I just loved the way Rachel Kenley has written the ending. A surprise is always welcome.

I received a free copy. This my honest review.

I received a free copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review. I loved the romance and the suspense. I loved the twists and turns. I loved the sex scenes. I loved that we see primary/secondary characters from the first book appear here too. There's a good flow between the two books too. It's fun also to read about some action that happened with Lyria and now we see Amina's POV. I loved the ending.
