Anna del Mar tells a heart felt story about tragic loss and the will to face another day. A fiery opening with Nina Leon attempting to land a wounded plane in the mountains of Montana. Barely rolling out of the cockpit before it explodes she is terrified she will be overtaken by the ruthless men out to kill her. The best thing a girl could hope for in her moment of need is to be rescued by a hunky guy. Well dreams are sometimes answered three fold when Nina is whisked to safety by three ex-Seals. Tanner, Aidan, and Zar are heroes with shadowed pasts that have left them reclusive and isolated with a pact between them to share everything. Wonderful story and characters that grow and build as they battle an evil that Nina has uncovered with her hacker talent. Beyond the Rules explores the erotic romance between this group while they strive to overcome not only their own demons but the terrorist out to eliminate them all. Even though this is part of series I had no trouble enjoying this as a stand-alone. Count on a HEA.
