A different take on the zombie apocalypse genre!!! A cats viewpoint, totally and completely engaged by this book a definite must read for Zombie apocalypse fans!!

I went into this book expecting cats and flesh-craving humanimals... I did not expect to fall so in love with all the kitty characters and the found family aspect of this book. Wonderful mix of post-apocalyptic battles for life against gruesome horrors, with tender community building and support systems. This book released on November 20, 2025. apocalyptic survival story where humans aren’t the only ones fighting to survive.
Laura finds herself leading a colony of survivors.. including eight very different stray cats.
I loved the idea of combining post apocalyptic horror with a group of scrappy cats. Each with their own personalities and scars. There’s plenty of danger and suspense, the story also focuses on friendship, loyalty, loss, and finding hope when everything around you is falling apart.
If you enjoy apocalyptic horror with a unique twist and animals that get to be just as important as the human characters, this is a fun read. 🐈🧟♂️🩸
