It just didn't work for me.

Sorry for the delayed review. I have been working this year to catch up on my netgalley backlog. I appreciate the opportunity to read this story.

If you like a lot of erotic stuff with your story, this is a story for you! The heat sizzles off of the pages.

Charlotte is the First Daughter and Zane is her bodyguard. The beginning of their story was a little hurried for me and Charlotte was pretty bratty, but it only took me a bit before I changed my mind. Zane was all about his duty and his job until he couldn't keep himself away from Charlotte.

This book brought the heat and the chemistry and the ending was so unexpected for me to have so many emotions. It was a really great read.

There are some things that can be triggering for some. There is reference to sexual assault, so tread carefully if that bothers you.

The narrators did a good job. The woman was a little much for me and I didn't care for her male voice, but overall a good listen.

Misadventures of the First Daughter is a good fit for those seeking a romantic and erotic story with a lighthearted tone and a focus on themes of submission, obedience, and forbidden desires.

Ah what a great read this was and insanely HOT!

I absolutely love the Misadventure books and this one was no different.

When the first daughter makes a questionable decision she’s left in trouble with a secret service agent and a hot one at that.

The chemistry between these two was FIRE, scorching hot and damn, I had to fan myself off lol.

An amazing book

Charlotte is the daughter of the president and wants to let loose in college and Zane is supposed to protect her. They both have feelings for each other! They make an arrangement and end up falling for each other. Good read

A good read. As expected for this author. She creates characters that you can have fun with and this one certainly did.

I loved beyond words the Misadventures series! The banter & chemistry was off the charts!!! I laughed so much while reading The Misadventures of the First Daughter!

This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Zane and Charlotte. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

I've had this on my TBR for a while and finally got around to it. I had to make sure I read it before Misadventures with a Master. Different story and characters but connected.

Zane and Charlotte have this magnetic chemistry from the very beginning. She's mischievous and feels invisible so she likes to get into sticky situations. He's there to watch her back.

I hadn't read the blurb and was pleasantly surprised when Zane shows his true, Dominant colors.

The storyline is kind of a political romance with some suspenseful aspects packed into it. It has a pacing that is fun and sometimes fast (necessarily so), and keeps you on your toes.

I also really loved how vulnerable Zane and Charlotte were with each other. You don't always get enough of that in romance

I love the books in this series and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. Very easy to read and keeps you hooked.

As always, a great title in the misadventures series. Meredith Wilde and writing partner Mia Michele strikes political gold with this tale!

If you enjoyed Sierra Simone's American Camelot series, FSOG, and Alexa Riley's Protecting Freedom - I think you'll enjoy Misadventures of the First Daughter. One of the things that I really like about this series and that is perfectly exemplified here, is that they read very quickly - the pacing is fast and there is no slow burn to suffer through. The heat level is high without being raunchy and I felt like the level of emotion was elevated in a way that I wasn't expecting but that I'm totally here for. Charlotte could have come off as spoiled and entitled as the First Daughter, but I truly did sympathize with her situation. I'm always a fan of books that feature parents as the big baddies (and we def get that here in a way), so I really appreciated that the authors didn't stop there with the villainous characters. For as long as it took me to finally read this volume, I pretty much gobbled it down. As always, I can't wait for the next Misadventure and look forward to reading more from this writing duo! 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

The misadventures series is one of my new favorite things. This one was no different. Charlotte and Zane are two of my favorites out of all of them I've read. The who secret service/first daughter aspect was perfect and just what I needed to read.

First daughter? Check.
Body guard? Check.
A bit forbidden? Double-check.

Yet, for some reason, I continue to find this series lacking. I have no idea what, but it's just missing that special WOW factor.

Misadventures of the First Daughter is an okay read. Nothing super special, but good enough to be enjoyable for the romance reader.

This book has a bunch of nope for me right in the beginning. Everyone exhibiting dangerous behavior and I was reading it during a time of political turmoil. Not for me.

She gives him a run for his money so to speak. Yes she gets into some mischief. But sometimes that's so much fun. And you never know where love will find you. Full of wonderful characters, this book is quirky and fun

Super fun, adventurous, sexy. Zane is a total alpha hotness, protective, dominance. Charlotte is bit of a hot mess - at a cross road in her life she wants independence but literally impossible being the first daughter. I love the intense chemistry and passionate romance. Awesome read!

I tried to read this book and I just couldn't connect with the characters, and the story, I ended up not finishing it. The girl seems spoiled and entitled and the main Male character was supposed to be super alpha and macho and just ended up coming across as a jerk.
