Well this is sexier than I expected but what a nice surprise. She needs someone to care about her and love her. And Zane has been doing it from a far for years. He has no other choice than to contain his desires because protecting her and being her bodyguard is his priority. When the situation gets difficult and Charlotte starts getting out of control there is no way that Zane can keep hiding his feelings for her, even though he really tries.

He never expected to see her at his playground but that is the perfect excuse to give in. For her is not about having someone to control her life. That, she has in abundance. On the contrary, is about having a dominant man like Zane who can protect and cherish her and still teach her to take control of her life. To have some of the power back that has been stripped away from her. In my opinion, I wanted that to happen sooner because you can read at every page how tortured they are when they are apart. But it still makes for a strong, passionate hot read.

This was the first in the Misadventures that I ever read and haven't been able to stop reading the series since. This novel can be read as a standalone or in the series. Charlotte is the daughter of the newly elected President. Charlotte has it easy with being spoiled yet is also neglected by her family quite a bit. With an agent in duty to protect her this novel very much reminds me of a little movie by none other than Katie Holmes in some ways. With only one minor detail that romance lovers will love - the actual romance! The tension and flames that are written in the book can be felt from anywhere! It's a quick tale of love, romance, excitement and adventure. I'd read it again and again.

OH-Em-GEE!!! I loved this book so much.

Charlotte is the spoiled brat type character that you kinda want to smack at first haha. But as the story progresses I found myself sort of rolling my eyes but chuckling or shaking my head in good humor at her. And I could understand where her need for her behavior came from.

And then enter Zane. And just SWOOONNN haha. I really liked him. he was the perfect male character. And I enjoyed every minute he was on a page

This book honestly was super unexpected. And I loved all the twists and turns and spicy romance in it.

It may not be one of those crazy thriller edge of your seat reads. But it had the adventure and excitement of one at times. And I still found myself not wanting to put it down, and going one or two half sleepless nights trying to progress through the pages haha.

This was only my 2nd or 3rd jump into the misadventures worlds. And I have to say I can't wait to keep getting my hands on them as they come out and even progress with some of the series spin offs happening now from them.

A five star read for me for sure

Charlotte is the first daughter and Zane is the man assigned to protector at night...as part of her secret service team. This was a steamy hot BDSM line crossing story. It was sweet, sexy, and fun with a bit of thrill because why not.

This is one of my favorites from this stand-alone series. Charlotte and Zane are a couple you want to root for from the very beginning. I loved the storyline, the steaminess, and the love. Just wonderful!

This is a good part of the series and I really enjoyed the storyline. I can't wait for the rest of them to release. The main characters had good chemistry and for this being a short storyline, it was pretty good. I'd definitely read another by this author.

This book is super hot with chemistry that pours off the pages & leaves you needing a cold shower. Couldn't put it down!

I’ve been mulling over what to say in this review for a bit because it’s always difficult for me to do a review of a book that falls firmly into my “Liked” folder which means I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it.

I simply liked the book.

So, with it making me a little wonky, we’re going to keep this short and simple. It was hot as all get out, Zane is…*fans self* and I did find myself wanting to see just how everything unfolded for Zane and Charlotte, but I never got past simply liking either of them. Zane was pretty straight forward in who he was: Good man. Protector. Dominant. Charlotte...I got her. I understood why she did the things she did, and even empathized with her situation, but I just couldn’t get past liking her in general. Their journey was a mish mash of “holy hotness” and “seriously???” for me and the cray cray tossed into the mix wasn’t all that unexpected, but dang. In the end though, I liked where they both ended up.

The writing was engaging and done seamlessly. Of the secondary characters, I loved Chester, and wouldn’t mind getting more of Demitri. I wanted to love this one more than I did, but it was a still a good, quick read in the end.

Another Misadventures book that I didn’t want to end. Was such a good read. The storyline and characters were really thought out and well done. Would definitely recommend.

Misadventures of the First Daughter is a SEXY read. The characters are really well written & the story is strong & very entertaining.

This is my first Misadventures book & I will be reading more. The books can be read as a stand alone.

This was a solid story though I found parts to drag on a bit, and I didn't find the main character Charlotte to be likable, which caused me to skim.

Great connection between Zane and Charlotte. Really enjoyed this story.

An amazing peak into the world of the secret service caring for the first family. Charlotte is the first daughter to very cold POTUS and FLOTUS. ( I hated her parents and what they did through out the book). Zane was the hot 25 year old secret service assigned to protect Charlotte. Zane even giving in to the sizzling chemistry put his career at risk. A great faced paced book that will have you keep reading to find out what happens next.

Beautiful words from an amazing author. She never disappoints, and I had #ALLTHEFEELS with this one.

Another solid entry to the Misadventures series! It has everything you want in a book that's for sure! I highly recommend you pick up this book and the entire series!

omg wow , this book was amazing! I loved Charlotte and Zane and Chester too! when the presidents daughter is put in danger one man will do everything it takes to protect her but in doing so could loose her forever , this book was an emotional rollercoaster and I felt everything whilst reading this book, it grabbed me completely and doesn't wanna let go an absolute must read!
