A fantastic addition to the misadventures series. It’s fast paced and the story has a amazing mix of tension and romance.

I have been a big fan of Meredith Wild since her Hacker series and was so excited to start this novel. I absolutely love bodyguard stories.and honestly couldn't get enough of Charlotte and Zane!

Like all Meredith Wild novels, this novel was hot af!! I loved the connection that Charlotte and Zane had and his role as her dominant. This story was heavy on the heat but also on the feels.

All in all, this was a fantastic novel and I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

A great steamy smoking hot romance book that will leave you breathless and wanting more and more from the characters.

This was fun. Uneven for sure, and there were some events that pulled me out of the story (plus, the formatting of the ARC on my device was a little off and that did not help) but I enjoyed it for sure. Recommended for a fun, sexy read.

This story is not sexy. There is no plot and no dialogue. What little there is is used only to move from one sex scene to another. Characters have terrible personalities, are not likable, and have no chemistry. Zane is arrogant and Charlotte is weak and whiney. There is no character development, so I felt nothing for them except irritation.

The story that does exist is completely unrealistic. Zane is only 25, but is the Secret Service agent assigned to the President's daughter? And there are no problems with the Secret Service agent who protects the President's family having a very open membership at an S&M club? And Demitri owns a sex club, but is interested in Kat, a spoiled brat teenager?

One of the few attempts at a storyline is the fact that Charlotte's parents seem to hate her. And this made me hate the book even more. And the complete lack of caring coming from her mother, to the extent of not caring that she is assaulted, is too much for me.

The forbidden relationship was not exciting, it was just a vehicle for more sex. I could have done with at least a little more romance, or even a plot.

This is the third book of this series that I signed up to read, and I dislike them all. The writing is poor, dialogue is repeated, the characters are flat, and there is no plot.

A super steamy forbidden romance! Zane, the super sexy secret service agent and Charlotte, the first daughter he's assigned to protect have an undeniable attraction to each other. Their story is sizzling hot, pulls at your heartstrings, made me laugh, swoon, and the action and suspense thrown in made it the perfect read. Totally loved the ending and wanted more of their story!

This was a fast read for me. I loved every page. Meredith Wild never dissapoints and Mia M. is a new author for me.

First word that came to mind after reading - H O T !!! Whew, needed a minute there....

Now onto the review. Zane and Charlotte make for a scorching hot couple. He's a Dom and she's a sub. What more could you ask for? Well, in Misadventures of the First Daughter, you get angst, lots of emotions, heartbreak, the worst parents a poor woman could ask for, an alpha af hero, and a sweet, but sometimes immature, bratty heroine whom I felt sorry for because of said worst parents.

When Charlotte and Zane embark upon a forbidden relationship (she's POTUS' daughter and he's her Secret Service bodyguard), I was all for it because she honestly needed something (someone) good in her life to not only give her love, but keep her wayward butt in line. But, of course, I knew once s*** hit the fan that the two lovers would be hurting, and they were and I was pretty devastated for them. Have no fear, though, they get their HEA and it was pretty sweet.

This is probably my favorite of the Misadventures series and Zane is definitely my favorite Misadventures hero. Charlotte's not my favorite but I grew to like her by the end. She was saddled with bad circumstances and horrible parents, so she got a huge pass. And Zane loved her and I loved him, so there ya go.

Good lord, Misadventures of the First Daughter was hot AF, smart, sexy, and un-put-downable! I loved the relationship between Zane and Charlotte and that it was an effortless love while being a most difficult relationship. I loved the forbidden element and I couldn't flip the pages fast enough to see if they found their HEA.

LOVED this one.... my favorite in the series to date! Charlotte and Zane were pretty amazing! Charlotte, the 1st daughter who is misunderstood by her parents and often neglected who sometimes is a lot of trouble..... and a young Secret Service officer to is on her detail who can't help himself when it comes to her. One night with a little too much to drink and a near disaster where Zane is her hero changes their lives forever! The romance is off the charts hot but also 100% inappropriate.... and it makes it that much more fun to read.... Are the feelings more than a hook up? What happens when this romance is outed? WOW... this could happen....

So hot it sizzles sexy, heart pounding, emotionally thrilling, action packed exciting ride. Quick but highly entertaining and scorching hot read.

Misadventures of the First Daughter is an erotic novel whose heroine is...who else? The daughter of the president of the United States. Charlotte is a college age woman whose parents keep her under their thumb constantly and want her to do only what will make THEM look good in the public eye. Secretly, Charlotte only has eyes for Zane, the young studly bodyguard who keeps her protected at all times.

Zane only has eyes for Charlotte, but it can cost him his job if he "fraternizes" with the woman in his charge. To make matters worse, Charlotte tries anything and everything to escape for some thrills either on her own or in the company of her best friend. The problem for me was that this book started with a bang so to speak.A couple of pages in and they are all over each other. I would have preferred a bit of a slow burn or a better understanding of how they got to where they are right now. I can't identify with the characters I am reading if I don't know their stories. If you're able to bypass this little quirk, you might enjoy this book.

I’m definitely enjoying this Misadventures series. This installment finds the story of the First Daughter and the Secret Service agent tasked with her protection. Charlotte is angry, lonely and acting out against her parents (who I️ totally detested btw). Zane is the hot stoic agent, but behind all the cold walls lies a man who wants nothing more than to dominate and bring Charlotte under control. I’ll admit the whole dom element to the story initially had me rolling my eyes, but there was much more to this story and their connection. Zane was hot and I really loved his dirty talk. Charlotte comes alive with him and finds her happy. Too bad others want to screw it all up for them. Definitely some heartbreak before their happy ending, but I️ enjoyed it a lot!

MISADVENTURES OF THE FIRST DAUGHTER is the fifth release in the Misadventures series. These stories are all independent and each stands on their own.

This was an amazing contribution to the #misadventures series. The publisher’s description is perfect – something remarkably unusual and to be admired.

My assessment of this story is: HOT AF! There is chemistry, friendship, danger, and true love. The chemistry between Zane and Charlotte was undeniable and quickly grew for both of them into more than lust. Not only is Zane protective and dominate, but when Charlotte is threatened, he is sensitive and caring.

I could not put it down from beginning to end. My advice for you – when you pick up this book, set aside the hours you’ll need. This is not the sort of story to be savored; instead it will be devoured in one sitting.

The Misadventures series continues to live up to its name in the 5th book, Misadventures of the First Daughter, and while there are plenty of mishaps and disasters in Charlotte and Zane’s story as there are in the four previous books, this time around, most of the issues center around the bad choices of one person – the President’s daughter and what Zane has to do to keep her out of trouble with the media, her father, and most importantly, herself.

Charlotte Daley is definitely going to annoy some readers, but while I was frustrated with her thoughtless acts, I also saw them for what they were – a cry for attention. She has spent her entire life living in the background of her own family, especially her father’s aspirations, and yes, she’s been spoiled and beyond pampered, which is clearly shown in her attitude and her expectations, she also has been ignored and neglected, isolating Charlotte in ways that force her to take care of herself and find an outlet for her overwhelming emotions that isn’t the best option for her or for her father and the Secret Service men who are assigned to her detail.

Zane Parker knows how to protect and serve. As former military, he’s used to being in difficult situations, but I don’t think any of his training could have prepared him for Hurricane Charlotte. But Zane is not one to fail an assignment, so he finds a way to protect Charlotte from herself while also exposing her to a lifestyle that might actually be the one thing that can tame her crazy ways…as long as she willingly submits to Zane and allows him to be the one in control of her life in more ways than she could have ever imagined.

Zane and Charlotte’s story is a fast-paced, steamy, and action-packed novella that illustrates the difficulty of being in a spotlight that no one would have ever chosen for herself due to her parents’ career choices and the repercussions of seeking out freedom in non-productive ways. Both Zane and Charlotte are incredibly strong characters and that trait is exposed and developed the more time they spend together and once he invites her into his darker world, Charlotte realizes the freedom that comes with submission and she yearns to explore this side of herself, which actually helps her in every other part of her life as well.

I’m definitely ready for the next misadventure!

Misadventures of the First Daughter is a sexy, hot and downright drool worthy number! God this one is my favorite so far in this series! It had perfect amount of seductiveness and that BDSM kinda feel! Which just does it for me. Plus the storyline was just engaging!

Another amazing Misadventures read!!! Loved every hot second of it!!! I swear steam was coming from the words as I read them! Beyond swoon-worthy and a total page-turner!!! If you have yet to check out the Misadventures series be sure you dive in soon otherwise you will do be missing out!!!
