Charlotte Daley is the daughter of the President of the United States. She's waiting to go back to college in NYC and is getting her party on to have something to do. Charlotte is just a lonely girl that has to be obedient because of who her father is. Her parents don't give her any attention and just wants her to do whatever they tell her. Since no one is paying attention to her, Charlotte tries to alleviate her loneliness by partying!

Zane Parker is the hot and sexy secret service agent assigned to protect Charlotte. Zane sees Charlotte's loneliness and her out of control ways but it is his job to make sure she doesn't cause a scandal and ruin her and her family's reputation.

Charlotte and Zane are attracted to each other but they know that nothing can be done or ever come of it. Charlotte puts herself in danger at a party so Zane has to come to her rescue. They continue to fight their attraction to each other until Charlotte and a friend shows up a club that Zane happens to be at during his one night off in months. Things change between Charlotte and Zane when Zane sees her at the club and they give in to their attraction to each other.

Zane decides to make a deal with Charlotte - they can have a physical relationship but she has to submit to him and she can't do anymore crazy things! Charlotte is intrigue and agrees to their arrangement. However, emotions developed the 2 of them but Zane won't admit them. Added to that, A man from Charlotte's past is intent on harming Charlotte. Circumstances, Charlotte's father, and Zane's career puts Zane and Charlotte in positions to make choices that will affect their chances of having a relationship with each other.

Charlotte and Zane has such powerful chemistry together and they care for each other deeply even when they don't realize it or won't admit it. Charlotte's life is full of orders and doing what her parents want and not having much of a say even though she is 20 years old. She has to follow "orders" so as not to cause any scandal or tarnish their family's reputation.

I have to say I really enjoyed this. Well it wasn’t the longest but, it was packed full of steam, feelings, some suspense added in, and the dominant aspect was great. With Charlotte and Zane really drew me in. I really liked zane’s personality. I also like Charlotte’s personality, but like Zane said, she really needed him. I look forward to reading all the other books in the misadventures series. I just want to say anything to go by I’m sure I will thoroughly enjoy them. My biggest issue was the ending. I felt that it moved way too fast. I won’t going to detail about it but I wish that it had been drawn out more then it was. 4 Stars #2OCCJD

Charlotte is so spoiled you just want to hate her. The book starts out with her in a jam that her security detail has to save her from. This goes on throughout the book. Her security guards is all she has, as her parents are too busy for her. Things lead from one thing to the other with one of the guards until it goes to far and compromises her.

For me I felt this was okay there were a lot of places where I felt myself skimming instead of reading. I was looking for more heat and less drama.

I have been enjoying the Misadventures series. They have been quick, easy, fun and sexy books. But Misadventures of the First Daughter was all that and more. This one was hot and steamy!

Charlotte Daley is the daughter of the newly elected President of the United States. Because of the upcoming election and to avoid any type of scandal, Charlotte has been forced to be the epitome of the perfect daughter. But now that her father is in office, all bets are off, and she has time to make up for.

Zane Parker is assigned to protect Charlotte, but all he can think about are all the things he can do with her and too her. She has been making up for lost time and making his job to protect her even harder. I loved Zane. He was so dominant and a total alpha.

The tension between this two-sizzled right off the pages. They had such strong chemistry. Zane had to be professional, but something about her pulled at him. Can they give in to their desires? And what happens when there is danger? Will Zane be able to protect her?

Misadventures of the First Daughter was a sexy and steamy read with a touch of the forbidden and a whole lot of sexy.

Must read book. Really enjoyed the pace and the characters. I was drawn in from the start. Thumbs up

Solid 3.5 star for me -- it was enjoyable, although it was a quick, fast read. I enjoy fully developed characters and storylines and while this was quite interesting, steamy and good, it was just a bit too quick for me. If you're in the mood for a quick steamy read, it's perfect!

4 Reigning It In Stars!!!

I'm loving these Misadventures books so much. They're quick, hot and fun reads. Being able to read both Meredith and Mia in one book put me in reading nirvana!!

Charlotte and Zane are burning up the pages in this one. She's a rebel thanks to her father and his position and he's her protector. Once these two come to an understanding that will keep everyone happy, especially our H/h...very happy indeed! He introduces her to a darkness that she's never explored before and his schooling her was off the charts sexy all the while, keeping her safe...from both those they know and those they weren't expecting!

If you're like me, you'll pick this one up, get drawn into the story and sassiness of Charlotte and what happens when she's met her match in more ways than one!!

This is not the best book in the series. The story is very unrealistic, and for me doesn't have the humour or emotion in it that has elevated some of the other stories into a 4 or 5 star rating. Nevertheless it is well structured and worth reading.

WOW, this was totally unexpected in an amazing way. Charlotte is the President’s daughter and has spent her life as an afterthought to her parents unless it would tarnish their image in some way and then she would be told what to do and how to act. Zane is the bodyguard hired to protect Charlotte. To assert her independence, Charlotte has taken to going out to parties but one night almost has consequences that she is not prepared for and sets up a chain of events that alter her life. This is one scintillating tale from start to finish. The chemistry between Charlotte and Zane is burning up the pages and keeps the reader enveloped in the storyline until the end. You should one click this book and let yourself get swept away.

Holy moly. This book has everything. Humor, angst, drama, steaming hot sex, and sweet heartwrenching romance. Zane and Charlie are OMG swoonworthy. This book gripped me from page one and didn't let me go til the very last. This is so full of quality writing and storybuilding it's insane. Loved it.

Charlotte’s father is President of the U.S., but Charlotte wants no part of the politics of it. Of course she has to play her part and her bodyguard, Zane, will do anything to keep her safe. When Charlotte tries to push the boundaries, Zane promises her many adventures in order to keep her from causing a scandal or bringing danger upon herself.

Although these are part of a series they are independent standalone stories.
This book features sexy secret service agent, Zane, and his charge, the First Daughter, Charlotte.
Zane was absolutely fantastic. He was all alpha and into an underground BDSM club. Charlotte was a bit of a troublemaker. Her parents were so overprotective and didn’t really enjoy having a daughter. I loved the way Zane took control of Charlotte when they met in the club and overall how he controlled their interactions. Charlotte was a bit harder for me to connect with. Maybe it was the life she was forced to lead. Her parents were completely in charge of her life and were forcing her to change universities on their whim. Her mother was a twisted and clueless individual. The biggest problem is Nate, who is a family friend that wants Charlotte and will blackmail her into being with him. Will Zane be able to save her from the threat?

This was my first ever read by Meredith Wild and my first foray into the "Misadventures" series.
It sounded like a good read but I was surprised by just how easy and entertaining this book really is.
I read it from start to finish without interruptions. I was immediately absorbed and enjoyed it immensely. Talk about hot and steamy, the build up and sex scenes between Zane and Charlotte were absolutely scorching.
It is told from a dual POV, which I think works really well for this novel. I liked the low drama vs high entertainment quota it provided.

This is the 5th standalone book in the installment of the Misadventures Series. I have not read any books by Mia Michelle before but I have read books by Meredith Wild and I absolutely love Meredith so I knew that I had to read this book. I was so extremely happy & excited to read this book. It hot and forbidden. Zane is Charlotte's (Charlie's) protector. He’s her security guard and she is a wild child just wanting love & affection in all the wrong ways. This book will make you laugh & smile but also have your heart breaking in two in a few spots! This book is smoking hot and so sexy in all the right spots and ways it should be. The chemistry between Zane & Charlotte is off the charts. This will make your lady bits tingle in all the right ways and you just may need a cold shower when you are done reading this book. This was a fast read that I couldn't put down once I had the chance to start reading it and I so did not want it to end. I really hope both Mia Michelle and Meredith Wild will write more together. I need more Zane & Charlie! I want to find out what happens with Katherine & Demitri and Chester! I fell in love with the secondary characters just as much as I did with the main characters. I need more much more!

What a hot, sexy story!! The chemistry between Zane and Charlotte was scorching. A forbidden love between a first daughter and her secret service guard. A problem friend that won't go away that leads to an intense, scary outcome. What great writing between Meredith and Mia. These misadventure books all rock!! Just love all of them so far.

Charlotte Daley is the First Daughter. Zane is her assigned secret service agent. It wasn’t love at first sight but their lust practically sizzled off the pages. It was the initial sexual tension, the steady build of their chemistry, to when they finally gave in to their urges that had me fanning myself more times than I want to admit. Their relationship put Zane’s career at risk so everything had to be done in the quiet. Not only were Charlotte’s parents the POTUS and FLOTUS, but they were cold and clinical in their treatment of their daughter and wouldn’t understand or care where her heart led her.

This was one of the easiest books that I’ve read this entire year. It had everything necessary to entertain me and I couldn’t put it down. Their sex scenes were scorching and intimate. Zane is a dominant and Charlotte was a natural submissive. And together, they moved fluidly and gave me plenty of opportunity to enjoy the way they moved together. This story was low on angst, had little drama, but had loads and loads of appeal. As a first read from these authors, I’m completely on board. I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of this series!
